The family were very lovely and waited for us when DB delays meant we didn't arrive until after 11pm. The room was lovely, the location is fantastic and it is great value for money. I would definitely stay here again!

This was an amazing time in Rothenburg!☺️ The hosts are very sweet, helping and caring - thanks a lot for everything!!🙏🥰 The room was clean and comfortable, you can see that they care about all the house - lots of cute details, everything is tidy. We asked for a boiler for water and they gave us without questions when we checked in, the fan was well working also, I even got an extra blanket, because it was -2 in the night (although, there are hitters in all rooms, working, we just don’t use them in general and open windows during nights). The location is absolutely the BEST! Very close to all the most beautiful attractions, with a gorgeous view from the window to St. Jakobskirche😻 Also the restaurant downstairs is highly, highly recommended! I’d never eaten as delicious Chinese food as there! It’s literally perfect! 🤩 with all the understandable wanting to eat Bavarian cuisine - I would very much suggest everyone to use this opportunity to try this outstanding Chinese cuisine as well!❤️

Perfectly Located, Clean, and Comfortable The Hotel Lotus is ideally situated in the heart of Rothenburg, making it easy to explore this charming town. The accommodations were clean and basic, offering everything we needed for a pleasant stay. While breakfast wasn't included, that wasn't an issue for us. The staff was friendly, though there was a slight language barrier, but it didn’t detract from our experience. The hotel is connected to a Chinese restaurant, "China Restaurant," which added a unique touch to the stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

It was 38 degrees Celsius the day we arrived there so the night was hot. The hotel supplied a small fan for us to use in the night, but the heat was extraordinary so it did not help much. But, nothing the owners could do about this, the heat was out of their control. It was just an unfortunate heat wave timed with our visit.

The hotel was impeccably clean and located in the heart of Rothenburg, a stunning historic town that feels like stepping into a fairytale. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, even offering a complimentary welcome drink upon arrival, which was a lovely touch.

The ceiling in the room on the second floor was quite low, which might be uncomfortable for taller guests—especially anyone over 180 cm

The hotel is centrally located. The room was very clean and we were let to enter our room before the normal check in time. We were also offered a free drink. The hotel is in the same building with a Chinese restaurant which stays open till late, offering us the opportunity for a meal while all the other restaurants in the area were closed.

The person we spoke for the room knew little English, making our communication quite difficult. There is no elevator and in the room, there is no a/c and also no way to make a cup of coffee.

Nice location. The room and bathroom are clean and spacious. The heater is warn enough during winter time. All the staff are really nice and enthusiastic, they satisfied all the needs during my stay and also helped to lift my heavy luggage. I also recommend the Chinese cuisine!

It took a long walk from train station to the hostel. Need to remind the road when you carry a heavy suitcase.

Very attentive and responsive staff. The next day we discovered that my son had left his gadget in the room. He was very upset. We called the hotel. The employee immediately checked the room and sent us the gadget by mail at the hotel's expense. My son was pleasantly surprised to find a present in the parcel - some candies. Thank you very much.

The location is perfect: 2 minutes from the very center, cool historical fachwerkhaus, the staff is very friendly. Room was clean, small, but cozy and with a window to a nice street.

The shower tap was "american style", meaning, fixed in the wall with a little possibility to move it up and down. For some it may be common, but for me really uncomfortable

The location was great. Easy walk to all places of interest. The manager was very kind to pick us up for a small fee. As we missed a connecting train, we reached after lunch time & they were very accommodating & cooked a simple lunch for us. The room was simple but good enough for the price paid. The Chinese breakfast was very worth it and tasty.
