The host is wonderful! Warm, welcoming, responsive. The hotel is charming, unique, fun, beautifully designed and decorated. The room was spacious, comfy bed, good heating. So clean!! The cleanest hotel I've ever been to- I actually didn't need to clean anything myself (can't remember the last time that happened). Loved the view onto the square. Lovely to sit in the lobby.
The only thing I didn't like was the lack of consideration by other guests- stomping up and down the stairs, like a herd of elephants, at night. If you have suitcases, I recommend taking an uber to/from Central Station as it's a bit of a walk with luggage.

Marcel was very accommodating. Escorted me to the parking garage (had a car elevator) and greatly eased the process. Surprisingly quiet location on a square just in from the river. A wonderful little bar with seating in the square just across from us. Really quiet location. The bar is a pleasant local place with a mature vibe. Really kind of quirky place with pictures of Jane Mansfield, Bridget Bardot, Marily Monroe, etc - and surprisingly Audrey Hepburn! Staircase is a bit funky but adds to the charm.
Breakfast a bit earlier. 9:00 start time.

Cosy, picturesque and original little hotel, very close to the very centre of town, nevertheless in a quiet quarter. Our address for Antwerpen! The town is a must for trying great restaurants. A foodie-town, less than 10 minutes to walk from the hotel.
This is in an old and narrow Belgian house, which is one of its charms. However, to reach the three floors with the bedrooms, you have to climb very narrow stairs, no elevator, not easy with luggage. This means, the hotel is not really adapted for elderly people. If you still feel young enough, the is for you. It is a B&B hotel. You need to arrive for check-in in the early evening or have an arrangement with the owner. The hotel has no car park. You can unload your car in front, but then have to park your car in distant public car parks, the closest being expensive ("Grote Markt" ca. 30 EU/24h). I recommend the parking "Brabo", a bit further away (10 min. walk), but a bit more reasonably priced (ca. 23 EU/24h).

Friendly staff, the room was cleaned thoroughly and the facility was very clean. We also had free cofee, tea and water. The decoration was intriguing in a good way. Also, there was autonomous heating and the wifi was fast. The building is historical, which is nice.
No door to separate the main bedroom from the toilet, which is kind of niconvenient, even for couples.

We loved the design and atmosphere of the hotel. The location was amazing, at walking distance from what's probably the most interesting part of town, with some great restaurants and vintage shops close by. As well as some of the main sights. Breakfast was excellent, with friendly staff. The kids loved it as well.
No elevator, so if you're staying at the top floor you have to like your stairs. We did, so did the kids.

The hotel is as small and cozy as a medivial 4m wide building can be. The owner is easily reachable by phone. The location at a small and quite square near the city centre is perfect. Parking is costly, but the nearby garage is a sight in itself. If you want to bring your dog, talk to the owner before – big ones might be too big.
The room in the ground floor only has a small window to the yard, which is negativ at first sight, but does not disturb the cosy atmosphere at all.

It was so clean!! Also quiet. Very comfortable. We had the small apartment on the third floor and it was perfect for us. Just have to keep the curtain closed in the bathroom so people in the offices across the street don’t see in.
The steep stairs but this is inevitable given the hotel is in an old house. We were on the third floor so it was difficult to get the bags up and down the stairs but we were helped by a hotel staff member.

Fantastic location in the old town. Nice and quiet. Quirky little hotel with helpful owner. Excellent generous breakfast. Spotlessly clean - room serviced daily. Downstairs area with unlimited tea and coffee a nice touch
Nothing - although not for those with mobility problems as stairs very steep

We really liked how the hotel was decorated - very unusual and quirky. The many pictures of Marilyn Munro, Brigit Bardo and Audrey Hepburn was a talking point for us, as was the unusual staircase to our room. The room was very comfortable and we liked the view into the neighbourhood square. The breakfast was really lovely, providing a huge range of choices with which to start your day. Our host was very thoughtful and friendly too!
Not really anything, perhaps the staircase as it is quite steep and may challenge an older person. But that’s also part of the character of this hotel!

Nice and easy check in and check out. The room and beds were comfortable and clean. But the best part was the location. We had a view to the -quiet- square in front of us, which was lovely. And of course you're so close to the historical Antwerp area.
The hotel was essentially an old house which was converted to a hotel. 1. It had narrow staircase, which would be a bit tricky if you don't travel light. We saw that in other reviews, so not a big issue for our one-night stay. 2. The bathroom and toilet in our room was made by adding some walls which give you visual privacy, but any sound or smell might be annoying to other people in the room, since there's no isolation.
