I have stayed here before - so this may answer - being repeat guest. The appartments are of super ample size - cozy, comfortable with all ameniities including a kitchen area. Also very advantageous as very centrally located.

Slightly expensive. Everything is done via the App to enter the building, ascenseur, apartment and communication etc... which is very efficient. My only comment would be sometimes it would be good to see a human face..... Also there are many restaurants close. But there are none for a good hearty breakfast. It would be good to have receommendations for good reataurants especially breakfast.

The apartment is large and has a luxurious feel to it. The living is very spacious. The bed is excellent. Really comfortable and I slept like a log. Spacious bathroom.

There are a few steps down from the entry into the apartment and the living. And again there are a few steps between the living and the bedroom. They also look slippery. Not really a problem if you are fit, but it doesn't feel luxurious. There are (wine)glasses and saucers and cups, but there are no tools to uncork a bottle of wine or a plate to eat cheese or breakfast from. I would have expected those in a luxury apartment.

An excellent and comfortable apartment in a great central location close to very good bars and restaurants. Very spacious, modern and clean with comfortable bed. Added bonus was location directly above Le Pain Quotidien which was perfect for breakfast and where we benefitted from a residents 10% discount.

Two possible improvements :

 1. The Nespresso coffee machine uses coffee pods and after wasting a lot of time trying to buy them locally we were told (at the local Nespresso shop) that this type were only available online. After contacting staff they did deliver some more to us. However, either the coffee machine should be replaced with one using easily available pods or sufficient pods should be supplied for the duration of the stay. 2. There was nowhere to hang towels and bath robes. Some hooks in the bathroom would be very useful.

The aparthotel does not have a key at all. Instead you are sent a WhatsApp message containing an electronic key to access the building and another to access your suite. This was easy enough for us to use but I don't know what my parents would do if they were to stay here - they don't have smartphones. The suite itself was absolutely beautiful. The building is a stone's throw away from the city centre yet in a quiet street which is perfect. We ate breakfast at the bakery downstairs each day - taking advantage of the 10% discount given to those staying at the Gulde Schoen aparthotel. We loved Antwerp and would definitely stay here again if we go back to Antwerp.

Gorgeous place with the ability to section off parts of the wonderful apartment. Equipped kitchen including dish washer. Very good coffee/machine and beautiful down to every detail inside the room. Perfect for a romantic stay. A lot of value for money and great location. Great bed and superb pillows.

Malfunctioning bathtub and loud fan, which smarter guests might know how to operate and solve, but we did not and the property owner gave a number for emergencies only. Ugly downstairs area. No streaming services included.

What an amazing place! a real oasis after a day of sightseeing. So central to everything! The kitchen,the fireplace, the bathtub.....so quiet. LOVED it!

Leaving

The apartment is in a fantastic location; lively, charming, and full of character with plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. It felt safe and vibrant, ideal for exploring the historic area. Check-in was seamless, and the apartment itself was clean, sleek, and thoughtfully minimal. Everything I needed was there, and I was especially impressed by the high-quality amenities provided, a lovely touch that made the stay even more comfortable.

Loved the suite! Very clean and amazing location. Close to all of the major attractions - all within walking distance.

Amazing apartment to stay right in the middle of Antwerp. Guided self check-in was easy to do and I was thoroughly informed via both Booking chat and text. The place was clean, bed and bath were both very comfortable and it was soundproof even though it was on a busy street. The place was within walking distance of everything. Definitely would book again!

A guide on how to use the fireplace would have been nice but otherwise it was perfect!
