We loved the design with the artworks dotted around, and the way that you could still see you were in a couple of converted factories even though it was a proper hotel. The room was huge and the beds were comfy. We liked that the hotel was paying for Netflix, Amazon, etc and we didn't need our own log ins. Tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch. Staff were friendly without being in your face. We paid extra for a breakfast that was OK. Good quality food - but you had to fight for it!

Would have liked a door of some sort on the bathroom. We've been married for many years, but I still don't wish to see my wife on the toilet in the morning!!! Is this trendy now (2nd on this trip) - if it is it needs to stop. There was a very faint whiff of stale tobacco - well it did used to be a cigar factory.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and in a great location overlooking the river. Close to lots of bars and the centre of Mechelen. Fantastic wellness centre which you can have all to yourself and is very good value for money. Nice bar with great draft beers and the largest Paix Dieu glasses I've ever seen! Modern and chic hotel.

The room was a little scruffy as the walls needed a touch up here and there. Biggest disappointment was the gym. No dumbells over 5kg which is useless for a man but OK if you just want to use for cardio. Need some 10kg plus weights. Otherwise would be 10/10.

This quality Hotel is located on the Vismarkt, a small very atmospheric square packed with restaurants and bars. The room we had was very spacious, with a separate toilet and bathroom. The bathroom had a walk-in shower. All mod cons were there including a fireplace. We barely wanted to leave the room after arriving. the room was also available to us ahead of check-in time. And to top it all of the staff were very friendly and professional.

We had not booked breakfast and the price charged for it did not match the value of the breakfast buffet. This was a bit odd, seen the room itself was very reasonably priced for what we got.

Great location, nice building, rooms clean and modern. Reception staff very friendly as well as helpful.

Spa availabilty set up a bit strange. Used as a private side business rather than a service readily available to hotel guests. Arriving by car is not easy but the tip to park in the Lamot carpark was helpful all though finding the carpark was also difficult. Very strong overpowering air freshener throughout the reception area resembling a cheap perfume. Something more discreet would be welcome.

Amazing location right off the canal and walking distance to all the local sights. It is a very clean property formerly an old fish market so there was a cool industrial vibe. We were fortunate enough to have the room overlooking the street and canal and were able to open the window to let in the smells and sounds.

Everything was great

Firstly, we were pleased with the hotel’s prime location in the heart of Mechelen. It was conveniently located within 15-20 minute walking distance to the train station. Reception staff is very responsive. On a positive note, facilities including spa and restaurant were satisfactory.

The rooms were somewhat dusty, which impacted our overall comfort. We encountered difficulties with parking due to many streets being closed to traffic. This required us to park at the nearest available and walk to the property.

The room was a nice size for two people but could do with more light. The staff were lovely and very helpful throughout the stay. Parking in public car park is very close by.

I would like if the hotel partnered with the nearby carpark and got a deal for their guests as it could be quite costly. No complaints to the hotel itself. Its very nice.

Location was amazing and the hotel was in a good condition. Staff was nice and the hotel was clean. Room was a little bit small.

There were no slippers in the room or even in the bathroom. When we asked, they told that they dont have any!

Location is superb - at the very city centre. The room was quite spacious and clean. There were both bathtub and shower in the bathroom. Communication with staff via the booking.com platform was very swift. The building of the hotel itself is really cool and unique.

The beds were mediocre: I had to remove the middle mattress to sleep comfortably (it kept slipping).

Good central location, all sights within walking distance and plenty of shops,cafes and restaurants nearby. Spacious and well equipped room and bathroom. Interesting industrial building.

Lighting in the room was stylish but no reading lights Breakfast not included in room rate - good choice of dishes but somewhat overpriced
