The hotel is a Hilton, and it checks all the Hilton boxes. Room, bathroom and ventilation are very good. Key points were location - it is a very few steps from the OLV cathedral. Antwerpen was a large city in its 16th century prime - keeping that in mind almost everything is in walking distance and the transit system is simple. Second key point: the staff - who were beyond helpful. Cordial, gracious and good humored. Helped me navigate a railway strike among other things.

The entrance to the hotel is on the Eiermarkt, on the north east side of the Groenplaats. The actual Groenplaats address is the hotel's cafe

The staff were all welcoming, friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast was outstanding, offering a wonderful selection and everything we could possibly want. The location was excellent with a lovely outlook onto the square and only a couple of minutes walk to the Cathedral or the shopping district.

Our room, whilst a good size, needed two comfortable chairs in it being a double room, not just one, leaving one person to sit on the bed or desk chair, neither of which were comfortable for relaxing. The bathroom shower needed some kind of non slip mat in the shower, which was very slippery and had no handles of any kind to hold onto. The shower head needs to be on a sliding pole so it can be lowered for shorter people like myself. Our washcloths were removed for washing after the first night but not replaced, The towel shelf and rail have been fixed so high up the wall that at 1.60m, I could not reach any towels. There was no complimentary water in our room, we had to buy it from downstairs. No bathrobes.

The best things about this well-run hotel are its location and the inclusions (value for money). You can walk from the train station, it is right in the old town and you can walk everywhere of interest. The room is very large and spacious, one of the few rooms we have stayed in similar hotels which actually has two comfortable chairs and a desk in addition to a place to put your suitcase, beverage facilities, large and spotless bathroom. Many thanks Hilton Antwerp, I will use Hilton hotels again.

Everything was good

An excellent venue for all the right reasons: 1. really nice, large, quiet lobby area, 2. convenience plus (parking elevator & luggage ramp) 3. room was the best in over 2 wks. of stays in 6 cities a) power stations conveniently where they're needed b) large rm, bath (shower AND tub) c) hallways were plush, the feeling of a fine hotel 4. price

No valet for luggage (but overall convenience overrides this criticism)

Everything was great, the room was large and comfortable, everything was very clean, the hotel provided outstanding breakfast in the restaurant on the first floor, and location was excellent.

The only disappointment was with the noise coming from the tram that woke us up early every morning. Our room was facing the street where the tram goes through a sharp curve and makes screeching noise.

Excellent location, spacious room and large bathroom, comfy bed with good quality linen. Very nice bar with great staff and reasonable prices.

- Very strange way of checking in with automatically added unexpected compulsory deposit for potential purchases (which I had no intention of doing). This is unacceptable practice as nothing was mentioned during booking. - Our room window had a broken lock and we were not able to open it to get a bit of fresh air. We reported it to the reception on arrival. Nothing was done after 4 days. The air conditioning was operable in 5 degrees increments only.

Great hotel with an excellent location and very good ventilation. The breakfast was enjoyable and special, and we really liked the setting downstairs. Overall, the location is perfect.

The room layout is a bit confusing and makes it easy to get lost. Parking was inconvenient, as it’s public parking and not directly connected to the hotel, which made access a bit difficult.

Great location right in the city centre. Nice and quiet big room with a spaceous bathroom. Everything was clean. The staff was polite and helpful.

The view onto the rooftop with pebbles was grey and dull: this could be a wonderful roof garden or at least sedum roof! The hairdryer didn't do much unfortunately and the shower head is fixed on the wall and isn't high enough if you're tall.

Driving into Antwerpen center you can park dead spot underneath the square of the hotel. An elevator transfers you right into the lobby. Swift service at the reception. Spacious accommodation big room. Great facilities. The hotel oozes quality and old luxurious traveling. Excellent bar and breakfast.

The main entrance is now the bar Blend 32 that belongs to the hotel. The hotels entrance is at the side in a shopping street which lack the grandeur that this hotel deserves.

This very well-located Hilton in the old town in Antwerp is a delight to visit. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is wonderful. It is easy to reach on the Antwerp subway and within a short distance of many spots in Antwerp. The staff was helpful and the lounge was very good. Nothing to improve here.
