The pools, sauna and hot tub. The cabanas were nice. It has 4 ev charging stations, a basketball hoop, two pools (indoors and outdoors), a sauna, and a hot tub. The controls for the hot tub are on the left. That kicks on the jets and heat. Outside there are open spaces to play ball, or soccer or football. The resort is large enough to walk laps. I also noticed a play area for kids. Every room has a seating area out front, and a few have a grill and tables for cooking. I count at least 6 grills, but there may be more. Nice place to unplug and unwind, but they do have TVs and wifi. There seems to be multiple APs for wifi, so don't connect to the office wifi, connect to the one in your room. If your TV remote doesn't seem to work, try pressing the power button under the edge of the right side of the TV stand. They seemed to have streaming services, but this isn't the sort of place to sit in your room and watch TV. We stayed in a smaller room, one with queen-sized bed. It was fine for a couple, but on the small size. I peeked in several larger rooms, and would probably get one of those next time.
Nothing much comes to mind. Like everything in and around Lake George, it could use some paint and a little fixing up.

The room was big enough for my purposes, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept well. The fridge, microwave and (front desk provided) coffee maker were great to have. The shower had great pressure and very hot water. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the chairs and tables outside my front door.
The lightbulbs were a little dim. There was no box of Kleenex in the room. The Wifi reception was spotty (but the front desk said they have tried to improve it, but the cable provider is the one at fault).

This was my 3rd stay in the past 3 years. I love the new remodel (especially the floors without the carpeting. Feels much cleaner…) I like red/ white color scheme in the rooms, too…both the office and cleaning staff were super nice and friendly. It was also nice meeting and socializing with the other guests. The place had a very family/ friendly vibe.
…as soon as we got in we noticed that our air conditioners were filthy. We had to hand clean the vents and filters…we were also missing a remote for our 2nd TV (which I asked for but never recieved)

They were very common Hable to us having my daughter seventh birthday party there we did have family that did book multiple sweets, but we were allowed to use all three gazebos in the outdoor pool area for basically the entire day. We had easy access to a barbecue.Grill
Not much to complain about only at the shower handle, broke after the first night there wasn’t any one available and staff to fix it immediately, but I was more than understanding

We've stayed here twice now. Definitely a quiet place to stay the pools are awesome. Playground is a little outdated but my daughter loves it each time we go. Super close to town/lake and the outlets.
The rooms were super humid and everything just felt wet from the humidity no matter how much we ran the AC to cool it down from the outside heat. That's the one thing that is bringing my rating down.

Place was clean. Easy check in. Pools were nice. Great location
There was a large family staying next to us who were out in parking lot in front of room well past 11pm making a lot of noise and having some kind of party. I feel they should have been asked to keep it down a little. Otherwise this place was great.

The outdoor pool looked lovely, but the weather was too cool for us to use it. We were only at Colonel Williams for one night, but we had stayed before and would stay again if we are in the area. We also appreciated being able to check in early since the room had already been cleaned.
There were no hangars in the room so we draped our clothes over the section where hangars belong. It would also be nice to have a bedside reading lamp.

Frankly I was quite concerned AFTER I booked because there are some very negative reviews about this place. I'm here to tell you those reviews are purely nonsense. We were in room 146 and it was clean, and comfortable. There was a refrigerator and a microwave. Value for the money was excellent. AND the proprietor was friendly, professional and accommodating. Thanks.
All was well.

The room was clean, and the pool was very nice. The Manager was very nice. I have been here many times with my family. This time I only stayed a couple of nights. They have a lot of amenities for the whole family to enjoy!! Indoor pool, outdoor pool, sauna, playroom, grills, and lots of space to play!!!
the hot tub was not working. Our room was small, but ok for the price!!
