I actually chose this hotel because I was part of the team that organized an event there in 2023. One of the most memorable aspects was the food, however my husband and i both got food poisoning after eating octopus at the Steakhouse. We had to unfortunately cut out trip short.

My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding anniversary and his birthday at the beautiful Margaritaville resort located in Punta Cana! Our room was beautiful and thoroughly cleaned. There were a variety of food options to choose from; the Steakhouse and Landshark were our favorite. There are also activities during the day and entertainment at night. The foam pool party was so fun, and our pool butlers Cristofer and Johan were the absolute best!

1. The beach definitely requires some attention 2. No one showed us how to use the ac controls, etc. in our room, so we had to figure it out 3. Unfortunately, I noticed a roach near the first omelet station at the Boathouse. Please ensure pest control services /deep cleaning are being done frequently (I forgot to mention to management) 4. We felt pressured to sign up for Prestige Travel, which we declined

The food was absolutely delicious! Staff was super friendly and made my 55th birthday special and memorable. Everywhere you looked was a beautiful view and the grounds were impeccable.

Maybe one more restaurant could be available just to add a little more variety for those who are visiting for a week or more. Also, there could be a night club or casino and better nighttime entertainment. The resort is relatively new and somewhat far from the main road which omits convenient site seeing and cultural experience, so hopefully the nearby undeveloped land outside of the resort will add more offsite activities or entertainment. I'm not a sit-by-the-pool-and-lay-on-the-beach-all-day kind of person. Even though the weather was beautiful, there was a hurricane watch that canceled water excursions so I was a little bored at times. There could be beachfront excursions and activities at the resort to enhance the stay.

I did not like the drinks provided. I did not like that a hotel of this caliber serves drinks in plastic cups . I did not lile the beach . I disliked that many of the restaurants were closed. I disliked the entertainments provided . The team is nice, but they lack programs and skills .

They have a great location and very comfortable rooms. There is a nice variety of restaurants and the staff in general were very friendly.

As has been noted in other reviews, the hotel lacks the amount of entertainment you would expect from a resort of this size. We were disappointed that during the night there wasn't a whole lot to do or see. Not something that would impact us staying again, but it would be beneficial if they could expand their entertainment during the nights.

My room had a balcony with a view of the ocean. It was great to wake up and look out at the serene water every morning. The food was fabulous and the staff was there to help you with anything.

The one thing that was a bit uncomfortable was a sales presentation. I must say that it seemed like it was just suppose to be an introduction to the facilities but it quickly became a sales presentation which made me feel uncomfortable.

The resort was relaxing, however booking.com never informed us the resort was bought out by Hyatt and is now called Dreams. So to our surprise when we were trying to find Margaritaville and it was no longer there. It was very confusing.

Wasn't much we didn't like. Food was good atmosphere was great.

we when to Margaritaville for my wife birthday and she is really picky when it comes to all inclusive hotel due to the bad food but she was extremely happy here, every restaurant felt like a 5 star restaurant, the food was fresh and really tasty. On the Italian restaurant I will recommend trying the Tiramisu. They have a bar that is open late and serve really good barbeque beef tacos... soooo good and really good beer. also a little coffeeshop with really good coffee and sweets. Staff was super friendly, from the bellboys to from desk and room service. Specially the bartenders from the Island Reserve Private Pool Villa, they were always making sure your drink was fresh and cold even if you were not close by they walk to you and get you a new drink. We stayed at Island Reserve Private Pool Villa, and a personal service guy is there to assist you on everything. our service guy was Johnny, he was great, even helped me getting a cake for my wife, he when and decorate the room, was really nice. he was always there when I ask anything thru whatsapp. The pool was just a dream. I wish I could upload a video here. but will later today on my youtube channel ( VIIIKATION ) Check in and checkout was super easy as everyone is so focus on helping.

Is just a recommendation, food on the private pool area of the Island Reserve Private Pool Villa some food would me nice, some small tacos or tapas, just to make it a perfect place to be. the only reason I left that pool was because I needed food.
