I had an incredible stay at The Standard Hotel Singapore, and what truly stood out was their amazing staff. From the moment I arrived, the team was exceptionally friendly, super helpful, and incredibly informative. Whether it was recommendations on places to visit or assistance with hotel services, they went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. A special highlight was how they handled my late checkout request—efficient, accommodating, and stress-free. It’s rare to find a hotel that’s so active and responsive via WhatsApp, making communication effortless and convenient. Whether I had a question or needed assistance, their prompt responses made everything seamless. If you’re looking for a hotel in Singapore that prioritizes excellent service and guest experience, The Standard Hotel is an outstanding choice. I would absolutely stay here again!

Since the hotel is still in its soft opening phase, there were a few unfinished details, but nothing that affected my overall experience. However, one small disappointment was that while their merchandise was beautifully showcased, most of it was out of stock—hopefully, this will be resolved soon!

Beautifully designed, chic and stylish hotel. Fantastic staff that were very helpful and welcoming. Great pool setup on-site, and very stylish bar/restaurant.

This isn't necessarily an issue with the hotel per se - but it does just take a little longer to get into the centre of Singapore, if you are looking to undertake lots of tourism

The property is new, fresh & a real contemporary spin on accommodation.

It’s a little far from the entertainment quarters & we spent a lot on transportation

Great hotel. the Aircon was very quiet which was fantastic. So many hotels have very noisy air con which makes it hard to sleep. Beds and pillows very comfortable

The breakfast was very good. Not a buffet, which I appreciated because it helped me avoid overeating and kept things simple. The coffee (very important to me) was top notch. The foods served were also very tasty and cooked fresh on demand. I can recommend the avocado with egg and toast together with the basket of danishes. The staff were a highlight, very friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. The cleanliness was top-notch throughout the property, and the rooms felt fresh and modern (it is a new hotel after all ), with excellent air conditioning that made the stay comfortable. I would definitely come back to this hotel when I need a stay in Singapore the next time!

The carpets on the floor surprised me for a new hotel, not ideal if you have allergies or asthma, as they could trap dust and cannot be cleaned so easily. The location on a hill was a bit inconvenient. Public transport was only a 10-minute walk away, and even Grab was affordable, if you rely on public transport the walk uphill can be a bit troublesome. Lastly, the pillows were too soft for my liking, leaving me with some neck pain in the morning.

Wow just wow!!! It was one of my favorite stays ever in Singapore. The hotel is brand new and its so stylish and the bed and pillow and everything is so comfortable. The room is so beautiful with the best view with windows on both side of the room. It’s got amazing morning and afternoon light and you can even see sunset in the evening. Room service was quick and easy and the food was good. I had lunch at the restaurant one day and it was really delicious. Coffee at the lobby downstairs really hit the spot I truly will come back here without a doubt, and I really had a hard time leaving! It was fab! The staff at the café, the restaurant and the lobby was really friendly and super helpful

Overall, The Standard Hotel exceeded our expectations with its exceptional service and attention to detail. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, stylish, and heartfelt stay. Brand new hotel. The staff made the experience exceptional. The pool area was amazing and breakfast was great. I have to mention the staff again especially Lenten she defines service with a smile.

The only thing that I didn’t like was there was no outlet in the bathroom and I could not shave as I had a plug in shaver. And using a hairdryer has to be done in the room not bathroom again because no outlet in the bathroom. This was apparently no fault of the hotel but a law in Singapore as I was told having an outlet in the bathroom was not up to code in the country.

Food was fantastic. The staff were fabulous!! Especially Pang! We arrived at 7am (so obviously we didn’t expect our room to be ready) from our 17 hr flight and we asked to leave our luggage at the hotel while we walked around but Pang offered us a room to freshen up in before we went to sightsee and it was so thoughtful! The food at the restaurant was delicious and we couldn’t get over how beautiful our view was from our suite

The pool bar was lovely but my husbands drinks cost $40 for a rum and coke which felt overpriced. Also we booked a suite which was beautiful and large but the standard queen rooms were very small with a shower that had no partition so the whole bathroom and toilet paper got soaked. We loved our suite but the queen sized rooms were too tiny and the shower should have a partition
