Perfect place to relax, nice hotel, comfortable and clean, very good breakfast, excellent swimming pool and sauna facilities. I appreciate the availability of late check-out.

The water park across the street had just limited number of slides open (not all of them). The entrance to water park across the street should not be limited (at least for the hotel guests) to 2 entrances per day per person. I understand that it might be difficult to track "illegal entrance and forwarding of cards to other people" (there is a campground nearby so I assume the policy was taken after experiencing that some people violated the rules by handing over their entry cards to others who were not eligible for free entrance). However, you would not expect such limitations from 4 star hotel (making it inconvenient to guests with small kids who often run in and out of premises). Therefore be careful not to exceed the limited number of entrances per day, otherwise you would have to pay.

Very quiet and calm place.

There was practically no cleaning service of the room. I had to literally beg the reception by calling numerous times to get our towels changed, the liquid soap re-filled and toilet paper supplied. I would like to mention Maya, who did expeditiously the only one real cleaning of the room in our 7-day stay in the hotel (change of the bed sheets, hovering, emptying the dust bins, refilling the soap, change the towels). It would also be useful to have a hanger/dryer on the balcony to dry bathing suits/towels.

I loved the facilities, the fact the little pool was on site which was quiet and relaxing. There was always a spot to get a sunbed. The gym which was a short walk away was small but had enough to do my workout. The room was clean and comfortable and had a lovely view. The breakfast was also lovely, with so much choice and really tasty The hotel also sent a bottle of Prosecco to my room on my birthday which was such a sweet touch!

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t really like. A good addition would be a vending machine or small shop to buy things such as toiletries or snacks as the closest supermarket is about 20 minutes walk

Access to swimming pool in the hotel, more pools across the street with sauna, pools and aquapark. Our kids loved the slides! Breakfast and dinner were excellent - everyday the menu was different and all food was really tasty.

This is not about the hotel, but localization limits possibilities to see other parts of Slovenia.

The ability to use the wellness center and pools without leaving the hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable and relaxing

Not much. The bathtub did have a thermal water tap that didn’t seem to work, but I understand that the hotel is undergoing renovations. We didn’t miss that function during our short stay since the wellness center more than made up for it

Foooood! Amazing dinner and breakfast, everything was so freshly made and tasty. We are on eurotrip and visited like 6hotels so far in different countries, but food was for sure the best here. Staff was very nice, spoke great english, so it was easy to communicate and we enjoyed our time in the spa area.

AC/Ventilation in the room was not working well, so it was very hot to sleep.

All staff, from the reception on arrival, through the restaurant, spa and in the bar were extremely polite and always helpful. Food selection was extensive and plentiful, both at breakfast and dinner. We came for a relaxing weekend and weren’t disappointed! Would definitely come back again.

The hotel has a good location, away from the town in a quiet area. It is a pleasant walk through the park along the river Drava into the city center. The town Ptuj is old with a nice castle, which serves as a museum (inside are collections of paintings, musical instruments, antique furniture). The tour of the castle is individual without a guide. We stayed in the Grand hotel Primus 3 nights in an economy room with balcony on the 3rd floor. It was equipped with a kettle and large tea cups. There were several herbal and fruit tea bags in the room. The minibar was empty, but we used it as a fridge. The accommodation was comfortable, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, the room was warm and the shower had hot water. We liked the hotel spa center. The pool is not very big, but there were not many people in it, so you can swim, if you want. Thermal water is not very warm (30-35 degrees). We highly rate saunas with a small thermal pool for 3 people. You can enter the saunas once a day for 4 hours and you will receive a towel. You can go to the hotel swimming pool all day and also to the public baths which are across the road, but the public pool is a bit shabby and there are people in bathing suits in the sauna. Half board was excellent: a large selection of meat for dinner and fresh pastries, eggs, pancakes, waffles for breakfast. Breakfast is served as early as seven o'clock. The hotel has a large parking lot that is free of charge.

In the morning there was a smell of waste in the bathroom, but nothing terrible.

The pools and overall structure were fine, the bed comfortable. With your room you get double access to the spa pools/water park across the road.

The AC wasn't very powerful and the half board meals weren't all that tasty, though very good value.

This facility has it all! For grown-ups and children. The kids lived the aqua park, the food was very good and every day it was changed. The swimming pools at the hotel is heaven. And Ptuj is a small little gem!
