I really enjoyed the stunning sea views from the property—it created such a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. The location was ideal, with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions in Betty’s Bay. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating, making the stay even more pleasant. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway!

I have stayed here before and lived the location . Laura who runs it with her husband is so very friendly and knowledgeable about the area of Bettys Bay and further afield , Comfortable bed in a big room and amazingly huge outside terrace to view the stunning scenery and at night with no light pollution the amazing sight of the stars and Milky Way. Jacks is also a restaurant and has great food at very reasonable prices. Look forward to staying again next year

My large room and outside terrace gives amazing views of Bettys Bay. Laura is an amazing host who always works very hard and is very knowledgable about the area. Great healthy breakfasts. Have stayed here before and will definitely be back next year .

Nothing really

The location is perfect. Laura is a great friendly accommodating person. Our rooms were huge and we had an enormous balcony with 180 degrees view of the entire bay. We had breakfast every day and it was good. The dinners were very tasty and the portion sizes were perfect. It was just the perfect place for our special holiday.

Laura is super helpful and friendly. Felt at home from when we got there. She also gave valuable information on area and sightseeing. Perfect views from room and restaurant. Food was very good. Will definitely recommend.

This is a great spot for travellers to stay over and explore the area. The hostess is incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming and accommodating, and the rooms are immaculate, spacious, and have gorgeous sea views. I've rarely seen such attention to detail, in my travels. They have everything you need arranged subtly in the room, from bug spray, to bandaids, to cotton buds and rounds, tea and coffee, and re-chargeable lights for when Eskom strikes. The hostess is willing to serve food in the room, or in the lovely restaurant, and has the rare balance of abundantly welcoming conversation and enough space for privacy. I very much enjoyed my stay

My only complaint was I was too full from the good food. Betty's Bay itself could do with a small store where we can purchase snacks, rather than buying full meals. But, that isn't the fault of Jack's - they provide great restaurant meals!

The view, the large room, comfortable beds, provision of tea and coffee, the sliding glass door to spacious balcony, the quietness, the convenience of a restaurant on the floor below.

Great location to stop off to see the penguins. Facilities are basic but comfortable with friendly host. Free off street car parking. It's on the main road but it is quiet.

The proprietors are friendly and courteous. The restaurant is great with an innovative, yet uncomplicated menu.

Not really a dislike, but rather a suggestion: Although the view of the ocean is great, On a windy, wet night, one may enjoy some "Netflix and chill" with movies on demand... Open view channels can be restrictive to some...

The owners were so friendly and the best service I will recommend and so spacious in the place and the view wow and their breakfast wow the jam was the best hand made by a Lokal
