- super beds, slept very well - great view of the lagoon, even without getting out of bed - very friendly hosts - good restaurants within 1.5 km walking distance - offers itself as a center for excursions, the whole garden route can be explored from there without annoying hopping from hotel to hotel - great breakfast with interesting information inserts from the hostess - pool for sunbathing or burning in 2.5 meters reachable Have spent 12 nights here myself and will come back! We stayed in the newly built self-catering unit. Everything was lovely and our hosts were fantastic. They even organized a taxi to collect the marathon runners to take them to the drop-off point. Each morning we enjoyed breakfast overlooking the lagoon. Unit had a king-size bed, large shower, fluffy bath robes and clean towels supplied every day. There is a nice deck and braai area and secure private parking.

TV was not connected in the new unit, but we could use DSTV streaming from our phone. Wi-fi was a bit temperamental, but worked most of the time.

The guesthouse is stunning! It’s very well maintained and very modern and chic. I loved our room, the bed was comfortable and the topping was a coffee maker right there in your bedroom for when you need it! The bathroom was spacious and clean. I loved everything about it! Sometimes you’ll end up not wanting to leave the room! Colleen and her husband were fantastic hosts! Very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious! A definite recommendation.

The guesthouse is well-located, bordering and close-to the town of Knysna. The rooms are neat and comfortable and the hosts Colleen and Cecil are friendly, helpful and assisted me, when requested.

A few things needed updating, though these weren't major and Colleen and Cecil were always ready to assist and deal with these minor issues. - all these things were resolved.

The hosts were very nice, they gave me a lot of information about Knysna and the area. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I ever had in a hotel/guest house. The room was very beautiful and clean and the views were great.

The location is not really in walking distance from the restaurants and everything that matters in Knysna. The hosts told me I could indeed walk and take a taxi back, and that's what I did, but I felt like the way to the city center is not very pleasant, at least 20 of the 30/35 minutes you just walk along the N2 or some kind of industrial road. I would not do that again.

Hosts Colleen & Cecil are most welcoming and informative, and will make you a nice breakfast. Very clean property throughout, not too far from the Knysna waterfront and Thesen Island. I would definitely stay again upon visiting Knysna 🫶

Some people might not like the proximity to the (somewhat busy) road. On the other hand, the pavement along the road is nice for a morning jog, if that's your sort of thing.

The guesthouse is elegant and well maintained, in a wonderful location close to the lagoon. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a stunning view of the lagoon, waking up to that was a real pleasure. Breakfast was excellent, carefully prepared and varied. The welcome was warm and attentive, and we immediately felt at home.

I liked the environment it's quite and chilled, it has nice views especially from room5, breakfast was pleasing we really enjoyed having looking at the outside views. The owners are very loving, caring and engaging with guests they give us options on lot of things we can enjoy in Kysna. May God bless and protect them ❤️

On what I didn't like , I would not have a comment on that since I really enjoyed.

Clean and well laid out room with crisp clean linen. Beautiful views. In addition Colleen facilitated/arranged transportation to the event (Knysna Marathon) start/pick up point.

Suggestion should we return to run the Knysna Marathon next year would be to offer a "runners" breakfast e.g. put out warm milk and cereals, toast, peanut butter etc. A warm breakfast before heading out in the cold would be appreciated.

The owners really took pride in the whole enterprise and made you feel most welcome. The breakfast was super and cooked to order. Room facilities were excellent too with comfortable bed and updated electrical and bathroom features.

I rather liked the fact that it was a 10/15 minute walk into Knysna but some may find that somewhat arduous.
