We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All the staff members were exceptional, from the front of house team, housekeeping and food & beverage. We had a positive experience at each touch point. Breakfast was repetitive with only one or two items changing daily but it was alright none-the-less. The F&B team did their best to accommodate some of our dietary requirements which we hadn't communicated well in advance.

Our bathroom door had an issue of closing properly, which maintenance wasn't able to fix during our stay. It's not a train smash but it was a bit of an annoyance.

Location is perfect. We enjoyed the closeness to the restaurants and enabled us to walk to the field where the Knysna Half Marathon ended. The hotel made a special effort to accommodate the early start for the runners which was great as well as providing shuttles to Loerie Park. Made a special effort for the occasion. Room was big enough for us and clean. Nicely serviced each day. Mini fridge is a big plus.

Breakfasts could have been better. Presentation could be better and in peak periods, one person behind the area where eggs, omelets was a bit slow. Replenishment of food container pots could be a little quicker. Having said that, the hotel was full.

Great location with a number of restaurants withing walking distance. Access to the harbor with a number of boat trip options. Nice pool overlooking the harbor.

They were installing solar on the corrugated roof and that made it unbearable in the room after 9AM as we were on the first floor directly under the roof. My wife had a on-line meeting and was planing to do it in the room, this was not possible with the people walking on the roof, fortunately we had ask to use the Business conference room where she could have her meeting.

It is the staff that make this hotel. All are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much effort. Great buffet breakfast lots of fresh choices plus an egg station. We liked the scheme to help provide local school children with shoes. Great idea and was only to pleased to donate.

The room is a good size with large bathroom including separate shower and bath. Good sized usable balcony. The layout of the room could be a little better to provide more clothes storage and hanging space, what is there is limited.

We were spoilt by the Hotel Staff, as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. The manager Paul his staff upgraded our room firstly and secondly when walking into our room that overlooked the lagoon we were surprized with a lovely bottle of Sparkling Wine and Chocolates!!! Once again breakfast choice was perfect too!!!! We absolutely loved our stay! Thanks Knysna Quays!!!!!

To charge a parking fee for ones car I think is unnecessary as this could be included in the daily rate - not a negative but purely a comment.

I luurve Cindy at the Reception. The breath of fresh air. The lady receptionists on duty (during our stay) and of the breakfast staff are always welcoming and pleasant most importantly professional. The second time around and I am happy. Wish management can be welcoming too. Thanks for playing nice relaxing music during breakfast it helps to enjoy the atmosphere. ☺️☺️. The environment is generally friendly. And looking forward to our the visit next year same time. Big Up to Cindy though!

As a manager the least you can do is greet your guest. Smile it's good for the brand. The general staff members need that support. Carpert in the rooms have a damp smell.

The hotel is very well located, a few steps away from the "harbour" area. We had a room for 3 persons, and it was spacious, had very comfortable beds and some amenities for coffee and tea. The breakfast was quite OK and the common area was also good, even with some games to play. The swimming pool was also excellent. The personal of the hotel was very kind and answered quickly to all our questions (that were quite a few).

That we only spent one night i Knysna

The hotel is on the Harbour, near beautiful restaurant called the Dry Dock, near shops, paved walkway along the lagoon you could walk 10K to the Bridge and back along the lagoon. Staff at the hotel were fantastic from the carpark attendant, security and reception staff were wonderful particularly Sandy. The pool was heated also and I could go off for a swim at 7am and grab a coffee takeaway from the bar. Loved everything about this hotel, so much so we came back and stayed a further 2 nights on our way back to Port Elizabeth Airport. Cant say enough good things about this place.

It looked fairly basic but the amenities, service and staff made up for that.

Everything was good. Pity no food offerings at the hotel. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly and helpfull.

A bit noisy early morning not sure if it was outside the hotel..but something sounded like a vacuum very far away couldn't put my finger on it but it woke me early I'm sure.if i asked they would hv explained and sorted the matter.if they could..really awesome.staff. would def return.
