Loved the views! The room was spacious, breakfast was divine, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to Sis Khuthala for going the extra mile for me and my daughter. Totally enjoyed our stay.

What I didn’t like was that there was no control from the staff on duty at night to manage other guests who were making noise. It was so loud that we struggled to sleep.

We loved the view over Knysna from the hotel! Beautiful setting, nice big property with pool area. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful! We just loved them! We moved rooms and our second room was gorgeous - spacious and airy with a large comfy bed and sitting area. The bathroom is bright with a huge tub. The restaurant staff are friendly and the food is very good. I treated myself to a pampering mani/pedi. Regina, the esthetician was wonderful! She really took her time and pampered me with a wonderful massage too! Enrico , the manager was available and helpful. Everything was just great and we thoroughly enjoyed our four nights here!

We'd booked a superior suite and were very disappointed with the room we got, a small room over the lobby. I spoke to Enrico about this and, as soon as we were able, we moved to another superior suite which was exceptional, more in keeping with what we were expecting. The three rooms at the front of the hotel are magnificent!

The hotel staff, and security staff, Sydney were all very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The bed and pillows were so comfortable, one of the best beds I have slept in, the pillows were also really good quality and most comfortable. . Everything was clean. Waters in the bar fridge in the room was a generous touch. Loved having the bath available. Breakfast was generous, great coffee and the omelet was made excellently, compliments to the chef and staff of the restaurant. Excellent value for money all round. Great experience. Thank you.

There really wasn't anything to complain about.

It was easy access given the area I was in. Really fabulous property and personal engagement from management which was just phenomenal. They have the most beautiful views. Camera does no justice. The courtyard by our room was just perfect For taking pictures🥰 The food was absolutely delicious and wholesome. I had the oxtail and my friend had the lamb chops. 3 days later I’m still craving that Oxtail. OMG!!! This property is def my preference when I go back. And I have to go back cos there’s so much still to see.

Whenever I travel I just have to take a swim irrespective of the season. So it was a bummer I couldn’t dunk myself in their gorgeous clean clear blue pool. Water was cold. So maybe invest in making facilities accessible irrespective of the season. Breakfast options could be a little more than just 2 options. I didn’t get my orange juice which is my preference for breakfast but I was happy they had lemon green tea and their fruit cocktail was devine as an alternative option. But orange juice should be std.

Breakfast was a delight everday. The food was freshly prepared on order and delicious. Reasonable special requests was no issue. The menu has a variety of options for adults and a good selection for kids breakfast options were also catered for. The airconditioned serviced rooms were clean, well maintained and beatifully decorated. The beds were super comfy and bathrooms huge with free standing baths and walk-in showers. The free Wifi always worked and Netflix and DSTV was available at no extra charge. The fully licensed restaurant is on the same property, so sundowners by the pool was must and followed by dinner with a spectacular view over Knysna just the thing to do after a day out and about. The food was truely delicious, the deserts were stuff dreams are made off and, all in all, well worth the extra charge. The pool is available for restaurant and hotel guests so scored some extra points there... It is in Knysna town and very close to the mall and the more tourist orientated shopping areas. Thesen Island and The Knysna Keys, are only about a 7 min drive away.

Very little can be said that we disliked. A little more covered parking would be appreciated and possibly a covered outside bar area during windy and or rainy days could be advantagious. The pool deck chairs could do with a fresh coat of varnish?. That about sums up the dislikes,

The hotel has a very nice location close to the Knysna center, with an amazing view of the whole lagoon. It is a quiet place with a nice restaurant and a refreshing swimming pool. I spent relaxing time here, which helped me recover after an unexpected operation in a private hospital nearby. I would like to come back again. Thank you to everyone who cared for me during my recovery.

the property is really nice and kept in a very good shape. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They provided me with help whenever I wanted, even gave me an electric adaptor when I needed one to charge my phone. The food there is ok, maybe I would rate it 7/10, but anyway that's not an issue because Knysna is FULL of amazing and affordable places, and you will be diriving around. The hotel also has an amazing top hill view over all Knysna, breathtaking. Amazing value for money, would book it again!

The pool had the suction hose they use to clean the pool with, inside the pool all the time, which didn't invite me to take a swim.

Our breakfast (we took only the continental breakfast with no cooked food) was always horribly slow. It never took less than one hour as everything was brought separately (yogurt 10 minutes after ordering, fruit after other 10 minutes, toast after other 10-15 minutes, croissants after additional 15 minutes and so on). I believe this was done as they wanted to allow us to find the room ready after breakfast. But if you want to make the most of your day, this is not very efficient. Next time we will ask for a speedy breakfast

First and mostly i must mention the freindly staff, they welcomed us and made us feel comfortable, not to mention the breakfast, that breakfast was outstanding and we complimented the chef, the restaurant manager was so friendly and made us feel special. The staff deserves a 10 out of 10! I hope they see this review!! Im so glad we chose to stay here

No complaint

Fantastic view on Knysna's lagoon and the Heads, you see all of the town from a few blocks above main street. Panoramic terrace. Rooms #1 to #3 are huge and have incredible direct view over the lagoon and the town. Staff was very friendly. furniture is a bit old fashioned but very tasteful, bed is very comfortable. Strelitzia was very helpful.

Wifi was not working in the room when I arrived, ok elsewhere. Restaurant has a beautiful view as well and stall is super friendly. Buffet looked a bit simple to me, but the dish I was served was good.
