It was our second visit to Knysna River Club. The renovated cabins were lovely and cozy, I love the high ceilings. It was also very clean and the staff were also friendly. Location is central and convenient. Will definitely be returning for a third visit.

The pool was only luke warm and could have been warmer especially for winter. The properties are also quite close to each other so it was not as private as I would have preferred, and the curtains were a little sheer. Would have been nice to have some block outs or a second layer. Nothing major though, our stay was still very enjoyable.

The chalets felt very private and were very peaceful and magical under the trees. It was wonderful to be able to walk straight onto the lagoon. The pool was awesome and much needed after a hot day. It was great to have the place cleaned each day and the chalet was very comfortable. All in all we had a great time and would definitely return.

When booking it had said there was bath shower combo which was important as we have a toddler so it was disappointing to discover we only had a shower. While we made do it was difficult to wash her in shower. The kayaks dont seem to be fully looked after, they were always left wrong way up and water would remain in them for days. Our chalet had a leak and after raining a few days it started to drip into the lounge.

The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. The view from the chalet was fantastic.

Although the view from chalet 3 was stunning and what I booked, the constant "traffic" in front of the chalet was unsettling. We were harassed by beggars asking for money. Felt a bit unsafe. Tried the Jacuzzi which was lovely the first time. On the second occasion the chlorine levels in the pool was extremely high. We kept the door open but not even that helped. We had to leave it only after a few minutes due to the chlorine smell. I suffered from burning eyes and a bad headache the next day.

The Location was great, close to the lagoon so we could go for lovely morning & evening walks along the lagoon & even onto Thesen Island & the Waterfront. The chalet was comfortable for the 2 of us.

It was pretty hot & there was no fan or air-conditioning so it was pretty uncomfortable sleeping at night. The outside furniture was very dirty & didn't get cleaned the entire week we were there. There was no place to do our own laundry which is unusual for a timeshare resort & their rates for doing our laundry were pretty steep.

The location of the property really is very convenient. We stayed in a garden cottage, but the view that the river cottages have is amazing and we had a lovely stroll along the water! Stunning!

The wifi in our cottage was a little spotty e.g the TV in our accommodation was actually a smart tv but couldn't stream Netflix. But since you're in Knysna... I mean we weren't planning on hiding in our accommodation watching tv all weekend :)

Privacy, Peace and quiet. Long walks along the river. Beatiful green cenery. Enjoying the evenings on the balcony and having a good time with my family. Lovely reception, safety and security. A very lovely place to stay when on holiday, it's beautiful, warm and breathtaking.

I loved everything. It's exactly what my family needed.

Its perhaps the best property we stayed during our 3 weeks trip in RSA. its a cluster of villas which has one of the amazing view you can imagine. i booked this property at last moment and found it a bit expensive initially. But when i checked in and saw the villa and location, i was gob smacked with its sheet beauty and eloquence. The cottage opens up to a river with a nice massive drawing and kitchen having all required facilities. The bed room is of sufficient size along with big neat and clean bathroom. the place has a nice sitting area outside along with BBQ place which we really loved it. you can do fishing and feed the birds right outside your cottage. it has adequate parking and a great walking/cycling area right in front. Entire setting is quite fabulous and I was so impressed with the property that i did complete research on first group and its properties elsewhere. I have taken the best picture of my entire trip at this place. Great and must place to stay!!!

its a BnB so room service was not available post 6PM which we found a bit strange considering the scale of the property. Nonetheless, it did not matter as everything was mostly available in the room.

What a hidden gem. Found this property by accident while searching for accommodation in Knysna. Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful gardens. Putt putt, games room, pools, jacuzzi all on site, no need to go anywhere for something to do. Especially enjoyed the long walks alongside the lagoon, spectacular views. Accommodation was clean, neat and tidy. Serviced daily which wasn't expected. Staff are very pleasant.

Absolutely everything else. The accommodation is greater value for money. Staff is warm, friendly and professional. The accommodation itself is cozy and comfortable while spacious. The overall environment 10/10. Will definitely be visiting again.

The adjoining room had occupants and everything could be heard.

Loved the Independence and the attention to detail It was great to barbecue on the veranda And then for the staff to clean the barbecue for us!
