shower in room, Sandpiper, very poor, no pressure and sometimes no water at all, disappointing. overall bathroom tired and needs upgrade - sliding door to bathroom very crudely done and poorfit. Bed smaller than most/we had expected. most restaurants closed on our night of arrival - we didn't know and it would have been nice if owner had offered to book somewhere in advance - as other guest houses have done.

Omigod! Linhof Guest House is amazing! The location--right on the beach, steps away from the wide, white, sand--is incredible. The room is beautifully appointed and the wide balcony with a view of the ocean is spectacular. Shirley and Maryanna were extremely gracious. The breakfast was delicious and, well, huge and varied. It was heavenly.

My room was wonderful, the sandpiper as I could see smell and hear the beach - so view was exquisite. The host, Marianne was very gracious and hospitable - much appreciated! Breakfast was heavenly - Thank you very much Shirley - I could not wait for 09h00 each morning!! And Location...100%

Unbelievable location right on the beach with incredible views, stunning spacious room, balcony overlooking the beach, the sound of the waves to send you to sleep, and all walking distance to the brilliant waterfront bars & restaurants. Unbeatable.

The location is glorious! Right on the beach, with super views and close to Waterfront, restaurants, village and all activities; while being peaceful, restful and spotless. Breakfasts were scrumptious and the staff are attentive and helpful. The hostess Mariana is most hospitable; we were very comfortable and felt safe and spoilt.

Very little. The few small drawbacks were overwhelmed by all the positives.

Room was a little small, so no room for armchairs. That's really the only complaint!

Right on the beach! Absolutely beautiful spot, loved our three nights there. The room itself was absolutely fabulous and very well equipped.

Perhaps just a couple more parking bays would be helpful?

Amazing view. The room was so pretty. Loved the decor. Privacy was perfect. Could just enjoy the view and the seating outside on the balcony was so comfortable. Delicious breakfast.

The view from the rooms was incredible. You could see and hear the sea from your bed. The rooms were nicely decorated and had everything you needed. Beautiful private beach which meant you could have all your doors onto the beach open without loads of people walking by. I will be back. It was perfect.

I loved my room, sunny with a perfect view of the ocean, even from my bed! Therefore the location could not have been better! Excellent breakfast...lovely fresh fruit, delectable cheese platter and the hot breakfast was such a surprise every morning served by the friendliest soul named Shirley. The house smelled divine and I appreciated the lamps during Load shedding. Thank you Mariana for a lovely stay @ Linhof!!
