Home away from home ❤️. Hospitality was outstanding, the stuff were the best. The food out of the world. Kathy is a darling, she made sure we were well taken care of and went an extra mile for my family and I. I would most definitely go to Aqua marine guest house, if I am to travel to port Elizabeth again 🥰🥰

We stayed at Aqua Marine Guest House in Port Elizabeth for two nights. We chose the hotel because of its good location for our trip to Addo Elephant Park, its proximity to the airport for our onward journey and its proximity to Summerstrand. Our room was very large and had a large balcony overlooking the pool. There was a queen size bed and a single bed. The beds were very comfortable. There is also a sofa, a table with two chairs, a wardrobe, a fridge and a kitchenette with pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Coffee, tea and utensils such as washing-up liquid were also provided. There was a covered and sheltered corner on the balcony with a table and chairs. The bathroom was clean and had a shower. Everything worked here too and there were enough sockets everywhere. We felt very comfortable in the room! The pool was open all night. Parking was very easy in the secure courtyard and there were plenty of parking spaces. Everyone was really super friendly and helpful. As we left the hotel at around 6am on both mornings and were unable to have breakfast (from 7am), we were given a super packed lunch to take away twice! We would like to thank you again for this! Even when the lamp in the bathroom was broken, it was replaced immediately. We were also given some tips for our Addo excursion and for restaurants nearby.

Furnishings perhaps a little old-fashioned. However, this did not bother us due to the large, very well-equipped and comfortable room.

Very nice accomodation. We woulld like to focus on the outstanding welcoming. Kathy was very clear according to the accomodation and the use of the swimming pool. She gave us relevant information concerning our stay in Port Elizabeth, about restaurant, safe moving across the town. Aqua Marine is very well located not very far from the waterfront and the beach. We can also outline the very good breakfast in a pleasant environment.

Great social hosts, welcomed us with a beverage. Nice accommodation with a pretty garden, good shower, and kitchenette. Coffee and tea are complementary. Very clean. Rooms get cleaned everyday. Comfortable beds. Amazing breakfast. The garden is an oasis of plants and birds. Great Safe neighbourhood. Not far from boardwalk where it's super fun to shop and wine and dine.

Breakfast is to early for me. From 7 till 9 am. The beach was to far and unsafe for me to walk.

Quiet, comfortable and secure room with all conveniences. Great for short or long stay, located just a short drive from airport at Port Elizabeth. Kathy is an excellent host and went out of her way to ensure my overnight stay was as smooth as possible. Highly recommended.

Very clean and neat. Complimentary toiletries and hot beverages provided. Pleasant staff. Very nice breakfast.

Nothing. It was perfect for our 1 night stay. Not ideal if you planning to cook alot as it's a small kitchenette. This was not an issue at all for us because we did not cook.

Even though we didn't arrange for late check-in, Gordon and Kathy didn't mind assisting us in the wee hours of the morning. Breakfast was exceptional 👌 We enjoyed splashing about in the pool.

Room service was kept minimal - only bins and towels were replaced 😔

Very nice and welcoming hosts. They will go an extra mile to assist and make you feel happy. The room was spacious & had everything I could ask for in a guest house (the reason we choose them as opposed to hotels). Had a swimming pool with plenty space to relax at the back. Pity I never got to enjoy that as my time was limited with my sport event preps. The establishment is a walking distance to The Boardwalk mall along Beach Rd/Marine Dr as well.

I can't fault them with anything at the moment.

The service at large was superb, and the friendliness of the Kathy made us feel at home. We look forward to staying there every time we visit Gqeberha

Nothing that came to our attention except to say, "keep it Kathy with friendliness and welcoming conduct and attitude" as that will accelerate the number of guests coming to your place.

We came off a long road trip to a friendly host. Kathy you are wonderful, efficient and attentive. We were happy with everything, perfect as a overnight stop for us. Will certainly reccomend your establishment. Although not modern, all the comforts of home that you need were available. Good value for money and the breakfast was superb. Thank you once again
