Clean room and decent food. The location was great (very close to the beach and shops). Air-conditioning in rooms really nice for the cold winter we are experiencing now. Adequote parking available.

The breakfast team service level requires improvement. The team is slow with clearing tables, making coffee, placing cutlery such as spoons on the tables, and we're standing around joking more than focusing on service. The dining room was so dim for breakfast, and the breakfast counter layout was not great (food was not too bad, though). The bedroom needs a bigger tv with more channels, a minibar fridge, and bottled water. There is no gym in place. Welcome drinks were served to tour busses only and not solo travelers, which I thought was poor customer service.

We loved everything about our stay. I want to emphasize the friendliness and the loving nature of the receptionist. She is so professional, a true representative for The Kelway Hotel, and she is one of the main reasons we keep returning to stay at the Kelway. A true diamond you have as first contact to the customer, I hope The Kelway Hotel takes care of her as she takes care of us every time we stay there. Ps. We stayed at the Kelway 3 times in 2023 the festive season, and it was because of this wonderful lady at reception. I wish I got her name, we always chat so much, and I keep forgetting to look at her name tag. That's how much my wife and I love her :)

The location is perfect. Convenient & beautifully located with sea views from the restaurant. Stunning . Breakfast was delicious and had good variety. Good value for money

The carpet is old and not clean. It’s visible from the staircase and it made it difficult to sleep because of the bad carpet smell. The deck underneath the carpet in the passage towards the room was a bit unstable.

The staff are absolutely amazing. Absolute perfection From the moment you park your vehicle and get met by the smiling face of the groundsman, the warm welcome from the front desk ladies, who have everything on hand, the beautiful smile and friendly greeting from the lady who prepared our room to perfection, the restaurant staff who can’t do enough for you and served wonderful meals to the absolutely amazing bar staff, who are always smiling and anticipating your every wish. If you want to feel special then the Kelway is the best place to stay.

The meal in the evening was outstanding - the steaks were incredible and the cocktails delicious and very reasonable.

The staff at reception were not very friendly and the rooms both had peeling wallpaper. We couldn’t sleep because there was an incessant alarm going off at a nearby property and a cow making a lot of noise in the early morning.

Friendly staff at reception and in the bar, happy to store my luggage, good wifi, nice terrace for a drink watching the sunset, comfortable room with small private terrace, easy walk down to the seafront with its promenade and beach.

The restaurant menu looked a bit basic compared to the offerings in the restaurants in the small shopping centre about 4 minutes walk down the hill, but restaurant seemed friendly enough.

I really loved the Breakfast. It had tons of choice, and the staff went over and above the expectations to make the stay superb. The rooms were simple, small but very Clean and comfortable.

The room I stayed in had decor and finishings which felt a little old and outdated, but not horrible in any way. Also, rooms are extremely small compared to previous places I have stayed. This might be how they want it to feel, and maybe just not my taste. It still would not dissuade me to stay, since the staff were so excellent.

On my last stay there, the one before this for which I was not asked for a review somehow, I had booked and paid for a sea view room. When I checked in the lady at reception gave me an old room in the rear. The hotel was empty btw. When I showed her my reservation that showed a sea view room, she said I must take it up with booking.com because her system showed a standard room. I had to demand she call management. When a manager appeared she started talking to him in Xhosa. I told her she was rude, to address him in English in my presence. They acceded to my demand reluctantly

The best hotel in PE according to me. Great view from the room, well kept rooms, staff is extremely accommodating and kind. They even went out of their way to make us a meal even though it was not on the menu ( my girlfriend was a bit sick ). Clean! The location is the best! Beach is literally down the street.

Kelway hotel is very good. The room was comfortable and has everything you need (except a fridge) and a small balcony. The location is very good, close to the beach and 15 minutes walk from the shopping center with stores, supermarket and banks. The hotel has a good restaurant and bar. Excellent breakfast buffet.
