the food was perfect. we only ordered lunch. staff was helpful. security perfect. we came before 14hrs and they gave us the room, that one is the best of them all. we watched soccer in dining hall. the place is well looked after., it's clean. room service on spot . I was given a desert for mother 's day for free. again easy access for transport and going to the new mall on foot. thumbs up to you all. I am a happy customer 😊. thanks.

OK the TV issue. there was no WWE channel. in the bathroom the water 💧 runs down the floor while using the tap sink. shower soap not good for my skin better shower gel.when one is in the shower the water spills out of the door and then those white clean towels are use as a mat. thanks.

The breakfast was really very nice, I felt the room was comfortable, it is very well located and the staff were friendly and professional - it was also good value for money in my opinion!

I booked via bookings.com and when I arrived in they were waiting for my booking to reflect on the system, but then a whole bus load of international tourists arrived who all then needed to be attended to before I could get to my room. But I think this is an issue through bookings.com and the time for a booking to reflect, as I was especially booking due to an electricity crisis in the area. But it just delayed me waiting in the foyer for an extended period before I could properly check in.

Some of the Electrical switches did not function. > Reading Lamp on Left hand side (Facing the Bed) switch or connection Faulty. Flicked on then off > The Three Prong Plug switch worked but you got the feeling it was not switching properly (No Click on or Off) > Shower Door Handel Was Loose and appeared to be on the wrong side ? Outside ? Not sure how to close the Door ?

I did not like that our kettle did not work. As I really needed coffee in the morning. I really felt we could have been compensated for that. It is a serious thing if you love your coffee when you wake up and the kettle does not work. Furthermore I am in my menopause and the aircon was also not working. The lady that checked us out just said I should have reported it. I did not like that. We came in late. Got up, had to get ready and wash and dry my hair, to go to the function. There was no time. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN WORKING FULL STOP.

Great facilities. Well maintained and exceptionally clean. Professional and wonderful staff. Great and excellent reception service by Bongiwe at reception. She exceeded expectations and professional. I nominate her South Africa Receptionist of the year 2024. The food and catering was above excellence. More than 5 star and 100% rating.

The food was great, and the swimming area very relaxing. Love the sea view. The overall stay was so relaxing and the staff was very accommodating and ensured we enjoy our stay with you.

There was pep plastic bags under our bed the day we checked in. The children that were there made a bit noise in the hallway early morning.

Beachfont. The location was perfect, a 10/10. Breakfast was ok, I am a picky eater so I am never the best to advise when it comes to food but my husband really enjoyed his breakfast. He said it was even better than the breakfast we had at one 5* hotel which means it was amazing. I just wish I did not smell onions in my pineapple, seems like they used the same knife. I don't know. But the place is situated at the right spot, walking distance to the mall on one side and some local restaurants on the other side. I will definitely be back, value for money.

It's not so much a property problem, but a people problem. Because Town Lodge attracts group bookings, you are GOING to get group bookings. I don't have a problem with those but it gets really annoying when these large groups of people are inconsiderate of others and make noise THE WHOLE NIGHT. We hardly slept on our last night because one of these groups behaved like animals and made noise the ENTIRE night, yes the whole night up until 6am in the morning.

The silence... I only saw guests during check-in time. Discretion, peaceful, silence...just what I needed.

The main purpose of my getaway was to catch up on some needed rest/relaxation. In other words, sleeping in, however, breakfast was only available till 10 clock, but the kitchen for room service only opens at 12 clock. A slight inconvenience having to go out and get breakfast on your own.

The location is amazing. We never ate breakfast. The staff were friendly. Our accomadation was comfortable and clean. We stayed here a year ago and we are glad to see the towels were upgraded and the pillows were newer. The lifts were working well.

We arrived on Wednesday evening. The hotel was full until Friday. We stayed in Room 113. The noise in the passageways was ridiculous loud. The noise went on until after midnight. Other guests were banging their doors, screaming across to other rooms. Unfortunately, there are no phones in the rooms anymore. And we didn't want to walk down to complain. I think guests need to be told to respect other guest living in the hotel.
