The property is very well situated .Security was of a high standard as everything else.I However would have pleased if the dstv would have kyknet in their bouquet as we are afrikaans speaking and could not watch our favourite programs.The price were quite steep and we have this facility in other southern sun resorts.My cars battery ran flat after I had forgotten to switch of the lights.Leonard who worked at reception tried to jumpstart my car!All the staff greeted you and went out of their way to ensure a very pleasant stay.

When we arrived after a 4 hr hot drive. We were welcomed at check-in by the guy who had the most beautiful smile.... then we proceeded to our absolutely gorgeous room with roses, treats, wine, and not forgetting the little welcome note. We had spectacular views and the most friendly staff, who made us feel at home. BUT the cherry on the top was the dinner buffet. We could smell the aromas of mom's curry coming from the restaurant. But it was Jimmy's curry omgggggeeee was it amazing. We returned the following night for more. This time, my husband prepared himself and had 3 plates of the chicken curry. I give Southern Sun, the Marine, an 11/10 😘

The beaches were too full.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. The premises are exceptionally neat and well maintained. A minor issue was promptly sorted out. Location is excellent and the buffet breakfast was well presented.

No guide available in hotel regarding facilities, dining out or tourist destinations. Numerous guests had to go to reception to find out how the wifi worked. Other Southern Sun hotels have a welcome message on the rooms television as well as emergency numbers, info etc. This vital info was sadly lacking in the room we occupied.

Our room had a beautiful and impressive sea view madel all the better because of the expansive windows on two sides. The room was much bigger than most at a comparable price.

I have experienced bad service at restaurants before. What we encountered here was by far the worst and the most abysmal I have ever seen. From sour-faced attendants, lethargic and non-existent waiters (we had to search for one to place an order). When the food arrived nearly an hour or so later, it was cold, poorly cooked and delivered with no apology.

The hotel is right on the beachfront with beautiful views of the ocean. My room was very large and the bed was comfortable. The sheets were good quality and clean and crisp. The breakfast was good and the staff lovely and friendly. In particular the chef making omelets was so friendly and chatty!

The shower was a little dated and the water was not as hot as I like it. The shower head was small and inefficient. Not a serious issue though. It would have been lovely to have had a bath in the room but also not essential.

The hotel is perfectly located in front of the beach. It's beautiful and elegant. We stayed in the superior room, which was perfect for my family. The kids had their own room with a tv. The hotel is ver clean. The staff was very efficient and helpful. Should I ever visit Qheberha again, I would definitely go to this hotel again. It was worth it and for the money I paid. Thank you to all the staff members 🙏

I honestly didn't like their fridge. It's old and rusty

Proximity to the beachfront, great parking, spacious look and feel inside, beach towels for guests, comfortable common areas to sit and relax, great view from the room

The shower never gets hot, it’s warm enough for a shower but one cannot have a hot shower ( perhaps because of the water shortage ) if you’re not first to breakfast you may not get a clean table. The tables are not turned around for new guests, I walked around finding plates and cutlery and so did every guest that arrived after me

Friendly and professional staff. Delicious breakfast; the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. Excellent location, literally meters away from the beach and you can walk to other restaurants, The Boardwalk Mall/Casino.

A wider vegan/vegetarian breakfast range would be nice. After breakfast at 10:30am we wanted to collect our bags from the room, but our keycard was already deactivated, however we had until 11am to check out. Perhaps if they had the keycard deactivated at 11am would be more convenient.

The room was perfect, and my family had a wonderful time. The breakfast was excellent; I requested waffles, and although they’re not usually prepared during the week, the chef went above and beyond to make them for me and my kids, which we truly appreciated. The location was fantastic.

The staff clearing tables during breakfast seemed unfriendly and didn’t smile, which was a bit disappointing. The pool was quite small, and there wasn’t a dedicated relaxing area by the pool.

An older hotel that unassumingly stands amongst most modern hotels in the area. Inside awaits a staff complement that are exceptionally welcoming and hospitable. Are true Southern Sun style. Our family suite was spacious and comfortable with 2 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms and a living area. The bedding was crisp ,clean and immaculate ( one of the best sleeps we had throughout our journey) . It was definitely worth more the spend.

I would have preferred a sea view .
