I loved the room. The room was spacious, comfortable bed, amazing bathtub but the blinds were problematic in my room. It really lived up to the theme of a lodge and providing that serenity and peace.

It was a bit cold, the aircon was not penetrating because of the size of the room I assume. However, there was also an extra blanket to assist. I did not like the hot breakfast, the sausages were undercooked and horrible, the eggs were undercooked and it all lacked flavour but the cold breakfast was good.

Staff were first class. Super friendly and always willing to help

Aesthetically, the property needs a face lift. Some of the windows need new putty- maybe even a change to aluminium windows as the wood frames seem swollen and it can be a struggle to close, the one wall in the dining hall needs a decent replastering and all the garages should have direct access to the property from a safety perspective

I had an amazing stay at Singa Lodge! The property is so unique and the rooms are very comfortable. I received an upgrade to the luxury room and really enjoyed the comfy bed, hot shower, and private terrace. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was satisfying. Location wise, it's about a five minute walk to the beach. Not as close to the central hot spots, but it's a short uber ride away from most things worth seeing/doing. This hotel provided a nice, tranquil escape for a weary traveler.

This Boutique style guest house is well located in Summerstrand. It is a pleasant place and would be great in warmer weather as one would better appreciate the gardens, pool etc... it feels like a lodge in a city and when the weather is colder and wetter it feels rather cold overall because of the design and the use of concrete and cement throughout. Staff were lovely and helpful. The decor is wonderful. Breakfast is good, but could be more diverse. Rooms are impressive and very spacious. Excellent shower and bath. A delightful place close to everything that matters in PE .

My biggest issue was the poor quality of Wifi. I would recommend that cleaning and maintenance be improved in places. It feels a little cold when the weather is dreary because of the design,

Lovely big and tastefully decorated rooms. Beautifully kept gardens. The individual lodges are surrounded by greenery. Good choices for breakfast. Staff very welcoming and friendly.A short distance from the centre of PE but nice and quiet.

Internet didn’t quite reach my lodge. Main router was in reception so probably could do with boosters in rooms. No food choices at night, but Uber Eats made up for that.

The hotel has beautiful gardens with lots of birds, and each room has a semi-private area outside with a table and chairs. The room was larger than expected, and I loved the uniqueness of the décor. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the design of the rooms. My room was very comfortable, and the toiletries were great. The hotel has a bar where you can just help yourself and write down what you've taken to pay later. I loved this idea, and the bar was well stocked. Breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were super friendly.

The Wi-Fi wasn't very good, but this seems to be a South Africa-wide problem.

Singa - "When the lion roars". As I entered this guesthouse in the middle of a Gqerbeha suburb I was magically transported into the bushveld. The decor was stunning and there were actually meerkats running around in the gardens. I never knew this but meerkats abound in some of Gqberha's suburbs. When next I visit I shall delay my appointments by an hour so I can try the breakfast...whatever they were preparing smelled delicious

I'm always edgy about parking in the streets but, thank goodness, my fears were unfounded. Their on premsie parking is limited.

The rooms are great and spacious, especially for the price. The grounds of the lodges are nice and are like a small retreat away from the outside world.

Nothing I didn’t like. I was there in winter so the pool wasn’t maintained. The room is open plan so there isn’t much between you and your partner, apart from a screen, when you need the toilet.

The decor, the vibes, the feels and the staff!! It’s such a unique place and right up our alley. It definitely wasn’t 4 walls and a door. I was in South Africa but had an Asian flair with meditation garden, pool, fountain, fire pit and lush greens. And the amazing staff!! They made us feel right at home and even helped out with a little spider we found in our bathroom!! Sorry Charlotte, there’s no room for a 3rd!! lol.

Only things I can think of is maybe the pool to be a little more tidy and the water fountain working. Oh and the “honesty bar” to be open a little later. We would’ve definitely enjoyed it after we came back from dinner.

The place in general is great. The staff, the rooms, and generally being accommodating. I did have. one or two issues, but Nolufefe sorted them out promptly and to my satisfaction. She is absolutely EXCELLENT, such that I don't even want to go into the issues - if the standard is that the resolution is done by someone like her, and all staff are that helpful, then no issue that comes up will make a dent in your comfort and enjoyment of the stay.

Not worth mentioning. See above. More than adequately mitigated by great customer service.
