WE loved the staff In particular the staff at the breakfast. The Team is amazing especially the older ones with attention to Details their warm Spirit and Dedication to what the do, making our everyday a pleasure. Sadly this Country is Loosing Gems to other contries because of no Job security and good stuff like this will become very rare. To the entire Breakfast Team staff who worked Tirelessy and gave their all We way Thank you from the bottom of our hearts .

The Reception Staff could do with a better welcome , and take note the apples are to welcome guests not treat us Hostile. Not all Reception staff but there is a new that could do with a Orientation lesson of the Hotel like knowing where and how to direct to the gym etc.

The hotel is a very nice location in Port Elisabeth (which is a horrible city, but you may be forced to stay there) in a safe area, with very nice views from the room. The restaurant is very good and breakfast was excellent. Customer service was excellent too we had an issue with our credit card, which was stolen in the CBD and the manager accompanied us to the police and helped us enormously to file a complaint (thank you so much!) The parking is spacious and the room was huge, the shower was great with very good heating regulation. The garden and pool are very well maintained.

The doors squeaked a bit, we announced this small issue to reception.

With the seafront right in front of the hotel, the rooms have a great view. The check-in process was relatively painless and I like the idea of a QR code-linked electronic brochure detailing hotel services. I ordered a dinner to be delivered to my room and this was done promptly and the food was very well prepared and tasty. The in-room wifi was fast and easy to log into.

Although the view is great, I was on the ground floor and close to the noise of the very busy road that runs between the hotel and the seafront. I would have preferred a room higher up and I wonder if that would have made a difference to the noise level.

Breakfast was excellent, bedding was fine facilities inside room need some improvement e.g.. no room telephone except toll free number, as a whole the stay was fine.

Room arrangement as mentioned the telephone in the room is needed. I liked the breakfast, liked the bedding, liked the attitude of personnel. But the cleaning person left plates that were use the very first night till we left in the room.

Love that the rooms are ocean facing and perfectly located for a stroll on the promenade or enjoying the breakfasts and other refreshments on the promenade. It is also really close to the boardwalk for shopping and other activities.

We ate supper at the restaurant but the chicken was not done to our liking so we were a bit disappointed by it. Also, the bar/lounge closed early and we ended up having to buy sine to enjoy in our room.

Absolutely loved the bathroom size with separate toilet!!!

Breakfast was good but the breakfast chef could do with some training. I asked for an omelet, and he wanted to make me scrambled eggs and, on another occasion, asked for soft poached eggs but it was hard and tasted like boiled eggs.

Central and very convenient location excellent staff and service. Beautiful elegant lobby/reception area and lovely rooms facing the sea front.

Nothing really. Just a small note, it would have been useful if the guest launderette was available as we stayed for 10 days.

Courtyard is a safe option for overseas travellers on their first visit to P.E. All amenities close by, not far from the city centre, & lovely beaches around the corner. Usually friendly staff & generally clean, with good quality of materials, & a splendidly architectured main house to boot. Drawbacks will include the odd snotty staff member, & somewhat overpriced cuisine. At the price for a double room, breakfast should be included, IMHO. All in all, well worth staying a night or 2 to acquaint oneself with P.E & surroundings

Friendly staff. Good location near restaurants, the beach, room overlooking the sea. Comfy bed. Coffee,tea , bottled water available.

Bad channels on the tv. Mostly sport channels. Not all of us are sport freaks. For such a hotel, one would expect more movie channels or even Netflix available.

Perfect location. Beautiful sea view. Like the small kitchenette with microwave, Nespresso machines Nice and spacious.

Room needs a DEEP cleaning. Cupboard door handles very sticky, so as the utensils and fridge. Water in taps a bit smelly. Think it’s borehole water. Bottle water in room got a funny taste to it.
