Brooks Cottage is a lovely place indeed, located in Brooklyn, one of Pretoria's safest and quietest areas. It is a beautiful property with a delightful garden and a swimming pool which will be greatly appreciated (though we didn't use it as we were very busy visiting Pretoria and its surroundings). Our room was large, well-equipped and spotlessly clean, the bedding was comfortable and we enjoyed every single moment in our cottage. Every morning we would have breakfast in the lovely dining room - a substantial, delicious breakfast with a wide range of first-quality products and varied offers which always delighted us. Norma and Chris are friendly, very hospitable people who will pay attention to every detail - going above and beyond to meet your expectations and make you feel good. We immediately felt at home with the two of them as if visiting good old friends. Norma, Chris, we are looking forward to meeting you again!

The guesthouse offers perfect accommodation for a solo traveller (or a couple). It has a nice style, has all necessary basic amenities, and is located in a very quiet and safe part of the city (but still close to the city center and university). My room/part of the house was slightly separated, so that I did not even cross paths with other guests. The hosts were very responsive and overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Brooks Cottage is quite and very well run. Just a few rooms in a garden of trees with a large pool. The owners are always on hand and very helpful. The rooms are large and well equipped with everything you need, even a mini-kitchen for a longer stay. Brooklyn is a tree-lined suburban suburb, and central for schools and work.

The breakfast was delicious, but we could not always do it justice. We had to skip one day. :-)

Perfect Location - amazing stay. Staff was amazing and they made sure to scan the room for us just before we left - to ensure that we did not forget anything. Room was perfect very clean. Perfect and safe parking inside the property.

Nothing to complain about. The stay was perfect (all was good) and the owner made sure that we the DSTV and online TV streaming services - He created an account for the room and was ready for us to use.

We absolutely loved our stay! The room was well appointed for our little 2 night stay. Its so close to Tucks too so was perfect as we were dropping off our daughter. My favorite was the welcome Sherry and no loadshedding as all the rooms are equipped with solar and invertors. It' was great to be able to dip in the pool and chat with our super hosts. Very comfortable rooms with everything you would need for an overnight stay. Very hospitable hosts who took the time to make sure we were settled in well and acquainted with the amenities.

It is an old building but the room was very clean and spacious. The people were very friendly and helpful.

We missed a sink and a sharp knife in the kitchenette.
