Location is very central to where we needed to go. We have stayed here a number of times previously and always had excellent service. The room service was very good. Shower pressure was good as was the comfortable bed. Tat there was a kitchenette is always a bonus. Sufficient parking was available at all times. The breakfast was great with a good selection of fruits/ cereals and cooked breakfast.

The TV channels were not up to scratch. The picture quality was poor and despite there being a channel list some of the channels were not on and only saw a blue screen.

I loved the modern design, somewhat privatised lodgings. I loved the bed…so soft n comfy. I loved the bathrooms…just beautiful, changing of towels as needed. The breakfast was to die for…chef’s kiss

I could hear my neighbours talking, I’m not sure if much can done about this though. Also staff at reception could give a little more information like when does breakfast get served, about room service and if they serve lunch or dinner and what are their times, that u don’t need a remote for the gate because. But otherwise the staff was friendly

The special touch of a Kit-Kat on our beds and bottled water in the fridge. Breakfast was delicious.

1.) For the first time ever, it was a hassle to get the requirements that we stated when we booked. We requested 2 single beds and were told that the booking works on a first come first serve basis. Then the property shouldn't offer the option of 2 single beds - which we chose - if they are not going to honor our request. 2.) It was also - for the first time - a hassle to confirm our booking. Although we had the option to pay at the property upon arrival, we had to prepay. Our booking was not secured. We've stayed here before. Probably 3 or 4 time already, but the above will make us reconsider if we are going to stay here again in the future. We prefer hassle free bookings and absolute certainty that we get what we requested.

It is a great place to come back to after exploring pretoria, the house still has its original design of the house but is also modern which is great.

The booking could've been smoother, I was not in the original room I booked because of conflict between booking.com and the accommodation, however we were given better rooms

I really enjoyed the time I spent at the 137@Murray Guesthouse, it exceeded my expectations: the food, the atmosphere, the staff, the WIFI, as well as the location of the hostel itself. The location of the Guesthouse was very suitable for me because I could even go to and from work without difficulty, it is very close to the shopping center and easy to access. As for the food, it was excellent, diversity and quality.

Everything seemed perfect to me, I have no comment on this point.

Awesome stay, from the time that we checked in until we checked out we were well taken care of. Every staff member was kind, courteous, and very helpful. Our room was equipped with everything that you could need including cooking utensils. Breakfast was a buffet with items changing everyday and it was delicious. I definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast ended at 10 a.m. which was awesome. The staff was absolutely great and friendly and went the extra mile. I'd definitely recommend the accommodation. We had the choice of braaing in the common area or have a private braai stand brought to our room which was a plus.

The variety in food though was not well and the eggs needed to be requested. Sunnyside eggs were a bit too underdone from what I heard, I had scrambled which were good. The fruit was not as fresh as we had hoped but the fruit juice was perfect.

Great for a short stay, good location (also when arriving with the car, as you drive through good locations of Pretoria). Very nice staff and good buffet style breakfast.

The water needed a long time to get warm, but it was winter time and the boiler might need a little longer, so no fault of the hotel.

Murray Street Guesthouse is located in a nice residential neighborhood in Pretoria within walking distance of one of the city's best shopping centers. Our room had a small kitchenette and a deck overlooking the well-maintained gardens. There is cable TV, good WiFi, a small swimming pool and plenty of free parking. The breakfast is good and worth the price and there is an independent pizza restaurant directly across the street from the hotel. I recommend Murray Street Guesthouse and will stay there again next time I'm in Pretoria.

Quick friendly efficient check in. Room was quiet, emeculate clean. The air-con saved us from the heat. Breakfast was superb. You can see they upped the game. All staff are truly the nicest people. Can't fault a single thing. Shower with instant hot water. It all was just pure perfection.
