The receptionist lady (didn't get her name) was so friendly and super helpful. We had busy mornings on both days of our stay, but she made sure we had some breakfast before heading out. I'll Definitely be back because her great service. The location is also really great.

Some things were a bit old and worn out like the floors and curtains. Our room had an unpleasant smell upon arrival.

Backup power during loadshedding. Located in a leafy, tranquil and gated surburb; it felt safe for a morning or afternoon walk. Shops and restaurants located within a short drive/ walkable distances. Spacious and clean room. Comfortable bed. Friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast in the patio with views of the garden was lovely.

Noise from other occupants watching TV or on their phones. It would be nice to have seating in the room for lounging. The cooked breakfast could do with some variety.

The location was very good. everything is within a walking distance. the staff were very professional and accommodating always eager to help guests.

The guest house is within a gated community that usually closes its gate late night. If you are a night goer, you will struggle to get back to the Guest house. Accessibility at odd hours is difficult.

The place is in a safe and secure environment, close to Brooklyn mall and others. The staff was so kind, very professional and friendly. Breakfast is offered every morning and it's quite generous. There is a storage room where you can keep your bag if early for check-in. A lovely garden where you can have your breakfast and relax. Cynthia, the lovely woman at the reception made a lasting impression on us and she's one of the reasons why our stay was super.

Toilet in one of the bedrooms was clogged after night one but the maintenance guy was on site and fixed the issue and the room was cleaned thereafter.

I've stayed there before so locating the guesthouse was easier, the staff is always friendly and helpful. And I liked how quiet the guesthouse is, quiet convenient for a selfcation.

The rooms are quite close to each other therefore you literally hear every step up and down the stairs. I stayed at a different room so the bed was quite squeaky which was loud and uncomfortable.

Safe & quiet surroundings. Proximity to University residence. Breakfast was great.

Noisy in the mornings. Once the smoke alarm went off. Leaky toilet. Shower is too sensitive, either hot or cold. Dated and worn out decor and furniture. Needs a renovation.

The location is awesome. Quiet, safe yet central. The lodge itself is peaceful with a beautiful ambiance. Interior decor is very nice. The staff were kind and helpful. Rooms were great too. Bed was very comfortable. Fridge, kettle, tea and coffee provided. Never had a power outage. Generator came on as soon as mains went off which was perfect. Breakfast was amazing. Being vegetarian, I had plenty of selection which was an added bonus.

Everything was absolutely excellent. If I was to be picky, the pillows could have been better but I am a picky pillow person and usually travel with my own pillow.

A great accommodation within the Waterkloof security area. They were very accommodating and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, there were heaters in the room, and the breakfast was good.

The floor in the room was a bit damaged and could be repaired. Other than that, I had no complaints.

This guest house is located in a suburb where the roads leading into it are blocked off by gates for security. Most of these gates are not manned and only locals can open them. There was no information on the website on this and what to do when we could not go where Google maps told us. There are only 2 manned access roads into the area and these should be given when booking.
