We did not have breakfast as we did not arrange for halaal meals. The room and bathroom was spacious and clean and well lit with a sliding window in the room overlooking the garden. The carpet gave us a homely stay as we could walk bare feet. The TV was very user friendly. The air conditioner worked well. The staff, all round were very friendly. Brian at reception was very kind and helpful. The quietness was very much appreciated. The power back-up during load shedding was excellent. I was a little worried parking outside as the lock-up parking was full.

The downside was sleeping on two single beds. We would have appreciated a little fridge or cooler box with an extra bit of table top to snack on so that the table used for the TV and office top is not damaged by any spills. The tea tray should also be located on the snack table. As Muslims we use water in the toilet, therefore consider keeping a few toilet jugs at the reception - issue when requested, but make it known to the clients.

A huge group of family members stayed over for several days to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. Benvenuto has two chefs who cooked delicious meals for our group in the evenings which meant we didn't have to go out and could all congregate together while having a delicious meal. The venue lent itself perfectly for the 90th birthday celebrations with an outside inner garden courtyard and a lovely inside dining space. The staff was extremely professional during the celebration event and set up the sound system and buffet to make for a smooth running and lovely day. The buffet was outstanding and very good value. All in all this was a perfect venue for groups coming together and celebrating special occasions. I highly recommend Benvenuto as it's safe, friendly and good value for money.

We celebrated my mum's 90th birthday and came from all over the world. The staff was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is safe, with a 24-hour person at the front desk. Cars are parked in a gated parking area. The inner court with grass and outside seating areas is very nice to create a feeling of being outside even if you are in a hotel. I always stay here when I visit Johannesburg and find it the best value for money. Moreover, as this is also a conference center, they are set up for large dinners and events as well as having a chef that can cook for your group in the evening if you do not feel like going out. My mother's 90th party was for 45 people and the venue easily accommodated the guests. The food was delicious. All in all a friendly but professional set up for when you visit Johannesburg, or if you want to give an event. I highly recommend Benvenuto!

I phoned in to request an earlier check-in time as we were traveling from Durban to Jhb for the Chris brown concert and needed a place to get ready. I made one call, and the staff gave us a check-in time 2 hours ahead, without any questions asked. They were so friendly and accommodating. I will honestly be visiting again! Well done to Benvenuto staff.

Breakfast was well prepared and better than expected. It was a full English breakfast and the chef was on hand to meet your needs. The atmosphere in the restaurant is old and rustic and extremely beautiful. Lovely cost effective place to stay.

Bathroom could be renovated and made more modern. Bathrooms are clean and tidy but do need to be refurbished. Beds were comfortable but would have preferred better pillows.

Located in a very good area and not far from the shops. The area is so quiet and cozy. Very good area to relax and to find that well deserved rest.

The breakfast needs to be improved. The bread and the fruit salad were dry. The corn flakes cereal was not the 1st grade. It was hard to chew and felt rubbery. The sausages tasted off and my wife didn't eat them. The kitchen services need to be improved.

We were a big ladies group who attended a function and had accommodation for one night. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were big and comfortable.

Everything was great. Just breakfast was a bit cold and dried out by the time we got down. But fresh eggs and bacon was put out after we dished. Otherwise, perfect place for an overnight.

The customer service was exceptional from start to finish, the staff were always ready to assist with anything. The rooms and facilities are clean and neat, very professional but still felt very at home.

The only thing that would be an added bonus is a bar fridge in the rooms.

The staff was very helpfull and friendly. Food was delicious and prepared very quickly due to us booking for breakfast on last min. Will definitely recommend benvenuto. Save and secure location with lots of great shops close by

The shower pipe was blocked we reported it at the front desk and the staff said they will report it and have it sort out. Excellent reception personal

I loved the room service and the facility was very welcoming 🙏 and pleasant reception and help with everything. Johannes the care taker was easy to deal with and the housekeeping was 500%.The security was top class and shopping center was a minute walk from the Hotel.

There was nothing I did not like.
