The atmosphere of this hostel is very personable and casual. The common room is very welcoming. There's a sign up sheet if you want to meet up with other guests and plenty of literature to help you decide what you want to explore next. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There's plenty of food if you need a snack too and a kitchen area (with utensils) to cook in. It is self check-in, however, there's usually staff around from about 9am to 9pm if you need any guidance. Overall, this is a great place to relax away from home-- or take a breather after eating too many hotteoks. I would definitely stay here again.

There's no elevator. I think I saw a little mold on the caulking of the sinks.

The beds are spacious and very comfortable, there are two large lockable storage areas that are assigned to each bed, one in the bed alcove and one underneath. It was also really handy to have a separate vanity area so you can still have sinks and mirrors without needing use of the full bathroom. The communal area in the kitchen was a nice spot to hang out, as is the roof seating area, which I think is underutilised by guests currently as it was fairly cold at night this time of year. The staff are friendly and helpful and can rescue you if you accidentally set the wrong code and lock yourself out of the lockers.

It's no fault of the staff, but sadly my stay coincided with renovations on the floor below us, so for 3-4 days or so we were woken up at 8am every morning from inescapable construction noise. Hopefully they will finish quickly.

For each female dorm has private restroom and shower room and another public shower room and makeup space, also has laundry and dryer machine to use W1000 each time, enough convenient facilities, almost no need to wait for showering, also spacious.The staff clean the rooms everyday. The public area also big enough for making new friends and chatting. Also offered coffee, tea, eggs, bread for breakfast, just I didn't get chance for breakfast time slot. Also super convenient for using one card to the gate, the room door, and my favorite - the locker just near the bed to put things there and secure.

The bed is spacious more like 1.2m to 1.5m, which make aisle very narrow esp when everyone's luggages block in the middle.

2min walking from Jagalchi station. Take elevator from B1 to ground floor. Very friendly staff with Mandarin speaking. Toilet is spotlessly clean. Bravo. 3toilets available. No need to wait for toilet Indoor slipper is provided. Free breakfast 730-9am. Good living area for meeting up with people. Bed is comfortable. Good hot water for shower. Shampoos are provided including toothpaste. But not toothbrush Power socket adapter was provided.

No lift. Ladies dorm is same floor as reception at 3F. So that's fine. Don't bring oversize luggage. Room has quite limited space to put luggage.

Location is really excellent, right in the heard of Nampodong which is a very local area. Tons of stuff to see and do within walking distance, many attractions a short bus ride away. Shared bathrooms outside the dorms is great, so you can get ready whenever without disturbing dormmates. Breakfast is plentiful, they have the usual toast and cereal and also instant noodles.

There's a musty smell in the rooms and particularly in the lockers under the beds.

Everything about Dear Moon exceeded my expectations. The Guesthouse was in a great location close to the metro, it was amazingly well equipped with everything you could ever need for traveling, breakfast was brilliant and the bed was spacious, comfortable, with curtains, sockets, light and storage. More importantly, everyone who worked there was incredible helpful and diligent. Absolutely wonderful.

Good hostel in central Busan near Jagalchi Metro, with museums, shopping and food streets and markets nearby. Hostel access is via stairs to the first floor. Dorms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Pay for laundry on site. Roof terrace. The breakfast is very good with choice of noodles, toast, cereal, eggs, and good coffee. Helpful and friendly reception and staff.

The guest house is ideally situated right next to the fish market and the night market, it's cozy and nice. I love that there was ramen and eggs available, clean towels, shampoo, body wash etc. You basically don't need to bring anything with you! The workers are helpful and very nice. They're always available.

Our room lacked ventilation, even with the window open it was a bit too humid. If you are a bit claustrophobic I think you would need to pick one of the bigger rooms.

I love everything about this hostel. It was my first time travelling alone and I chose Guesthouse Dear Moon because I saw the reviews online. The host was very accommodating and responsive. The other guests are nice and everyone is so friendly. I even made new friends during my stay at Dear Moon. I am a female traveler and I booked the mixed bedroom because there were no other available rooms at that time but the people in the hostel are respectful and the place generally feels safe. The hostel also has house rules so people respect each other's space and are not noisy during sleeping hours. The location is also perfect for touring around. Would love to come back again. It's a very clean hostel with large beds and its quiet at night. Very social hostel, you can meet people easily when making a good breakfast provided there, it's a good social space. The highlight for me was Hwan who works there, he took me to a local restaurant i would never be able to visit otherwise, and together with a few other guests we went out in local korean bars in the area. The best and most social host I've met during my travels.

A bit few bathrooms in my opinion.
