Excellent location. About 5 min walk to the nearest subway station & 3 min walk to bus stations. Near to a lot of restaurants, there is a shopping mall opposite and also a convenience store right beside the hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful, all of them can speak English. Excellent facilities, room is clean, you get everything you need in one room. They even provide humidifier and minibar in the room. Heating can be turned on from the air conditioner, which is another plus point. Cash-operated washing machines and dryers are available near guest restrooms at the lobby. Very affordable prices and does the job well. Water dispenser and microwave oven can be used for free at the lobby. Other necessities that are not provided for free can be purchased at the vending machines. Provide very good breakfast with different menus every day.

Everything was great EXCEPT the check in and check out timings. Check in time is very late at 4PM, while other hotels we stay in South Korea offer 3PM. (Note: Toyoko offers 3PM "early check in" exclusively for members.) Check out is also too early, which is 10AM while other hotels usually is between 11AM-12PM. However they're kind enough to allow baggage storage before check-in & after check-out which makes it less of a hassle. Breakfast timing is very early as well (6.30AM-9AM).

The breakfast included in the price were great! Delicious options each morning. I loved the bathroom, the private bath helped to soothe long tiring days, and the zoomed mirror as well as the bedside light added an amazing touch to convenience. The size of the room was perfect for repacking our luggages and the beeping noise if the door is not closed properly added to our sense of security. Also the replenishment of towels and bottles of water everyday and free pajamas were wonderful. The staff at the front desk were all very welcoming and laundry facilities were always cheap and large enough for us as a couple after a few days worth of clothing. The lobby was spacious with a lot of seating and there are toilets too! Overall a very satisfying stay. Thank you!

The soap/shampoo dispenser seems to be quite loose and a bit hard to dispense.

Toyoko Inn Busan Seomyeon is in a convenient location, just a few blocks away from where many tours start, making it ideal for travellers. The 24/7 reception was helpful, and the staff was accommodating - they even printed a document for me when needed. The reception area also offers vending machines, a water dispenser, a microwave, and even pyjamas for guests. My room, located on the highest floor, was comfortable and had a (semi) view of Busan. The bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was strong, which was useful for getting some work done. I appreciated the daily water replenishment and the in-room kettle for making tea. The breakfast offered a good variety of mostly Korean dishes, and while it wasn’t exceptional, it was certainly decent.

There are a few things that could enhance the experience at Toyoko Inn Busan Seomyeon. The shower area was quite small and could benefit from more space. During breakfast, the room was noisy and crowded, and twice I had to sit under the loud TV, which made the experience less enjoyable. Additionally, there is no cabinet space in the room, though this wasn’t a major issue for me. Overall, despite these small drawbacks, I would consider staying here again for the location and convenience.

· I stayed in both Haeundae and Samyeong locations and here's a resume - Haeundae is way better location. 5 minutes and you are on the beach! - Breakfast at Haeundae was better, had more options (even cereals with milk). - the view in Haeundau was way better than Samyeong too - Breakfast is served from 7 to 9:30 compared to 6:30-9 and 7-9:30 over the weekend in Samyeong. - Semyeong is closer to train station / airport Similarities: - Coffee was very good in both locations - Both have washing and dryers, for a super good price - in both you can store luggage before and after checking in/out - both rooms were very similar, not too small, not too big, desk, good wifi, small but great bathtub. - both have a 24/7 convenience store nearby I'd choose again Haeundae over Samyeong

Rules are a bit too much but i think it's Korean standard, in both: - check-in late (16:00), check-out very early (10:00) - must say at the beginning when you want cleaning in your room, otherwise you get towels every day - have to specify to bring every 2nd day if you don't want them. Also you have to not be in the room from 10:00 to 16:00 if you want the cleaning service - they also bring you a small bottle of water every day, could save the plastic given there's a water fountain in the lobby

Super convenient location, easy access to Somyeon metro station which is a major transfer station. This is great for exploring Busan. The food and cafe game is great too. You have loads of things immediately from the entrance of the hotel. It’s a business hotel. So you’re not going to have your in room mini bars and dressing gowns etc. but for a tourist or worker it’s a great place to refresh and rest your self before tackling the next day. Added bonus there are washers and dryers available for access too. The vending machine in the lobby is also great for the Oops I forgot moments too. Room size is a little compact.

Breakfast time is hectic. There can be congestion at the lifts, so keep that in mind is you have a set meeting time.

Great hotel. Small room but very clean and functional. Staff very friendly and helpful. New towel and a bottle of water every day [though changing the towels every day was a bit unnecessary, let's be more environment friendly :) ]. Great location with a lot of restaurants etc around.

There could be a little more option in the breakfast for western travelers, we are not used to eating so spicy early in the morning :D Breakfast could last a little longer also.

The breakfast was 80% Korean, which is understandable. The room was acceptable, but bare minimum. The location was near the center of town, with easy access to the metro. The metro is superb. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful and always with a smile. Not all of them spoke good English, but they tried hard.

My low-salt diet did not agree with the salty, mostly Korean, breakfast. Thus, I skipped breakfast after the first day. The room was small, but space is a big problem in the cities of South Korea. There was no cabinet to hang clothes and the bathroom was not ventilated efficiently. It was not easy to move around in the room.

The hotel staff is quite helpful and communicative; and the rooms are suitably equipped with all necessary amenities one absolutely needs during a short stay. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day and towels properly changed. Bed linen are changed every 4 days as during YOUR stay as clearly indicated by the hotel. All in all, a clear recommendation to those seeking an affordable hotel in Busan for short duration stays.

You must leave your room before 10:00 otherwise your room will be skipped that day for cleaning. This is a tad annoying. However, this rule is clearly communicated by hotel staff during check-in!

The location was great and the room was clean. It included breakfast.

The room and the bathroom were too small and uncomfortable. We barely had space to open our suitcases and note that we didn't have the smallest room of the hotel. The ventilator of the room was too noisy and there was no way to switch it off. The breakfast finishes at 9 a.m., which is too early; especially if you think how slow the elevator was. In a nutshell, the accommodation was alright, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 nights.

Comfortable stay, convenient location, polite and professional staff. Breakfast was included and consisted of some yummy Korean items like sweet pumpkin soup, chicken Ginseng soup, khimchi pancakes, tofu, salads etc. and some western style items like bread butter, fruits and yogurt, hashbrowns, pasta etc. There are different breakfast menu items daily, There is good seating available if you go a bit earlier. There is green tea bags and water station near the reception area.
