First of all, the hotel staff were incredibly helpful and kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. There was no language barrier even though we don’t speak Korean beyond “hello” and “thank you”. The location is very convenient, we were able to reach the most famous landmarks on foot (but if you don’t want to do that, there is a subway station very close to the hotel and Seoul Station is just one stop away which makes the commute to the airport very convenient). The rooms are well equipped (above the standard, we got way more amenities than in any other hotel we visited) and very clean. Also, there is a nice common space where you can sit and have coffee in the morning. Hotel WiFi worked smoothly. What I liked was that right behind the door to the room there is a small space to leave your outdoor shoes. It made us feel more at home as this is how we roll in our country as well.

The staff was extraordinary. Always smiling, always willing to help, always supporting, always there. We had two stays one after another and hotel stored for us a luggage that was a great help. I consider a great value a service for washing for a very good price. Rooms are not super big, but clean and comfortable, very good vallue for money. Location is excellent - it is less than 100 meters from the Hoehyeon metro station, cross the street from Namdaemun and Myeong-Dong markets and 5 minutes walk to Seoul station. Next to the hotel are two 24x7 grocery stores and many restaurants and pubs.

It is only personal preference - I would prefer harder bed. Otherwise no objections.

Good size twin bed room for my daughter and I. Good water pressure in shower after a big day out. We didn’t have loads of luggage so worked for us. Staff were always helpful and friendly.

Aircon directly on your face as you sleep. Room heat up quickly it fits not on in hot weather.

I like how helpful and accomodating the staff were. They were always willing to provide a helping hand with directions. We were even provided with hand warmer one time by the man at the reception. I like that they provide fresh towels everyday and even make the room. It has common kitchen in the lower ground which has microwave, utensils, and free coffee and tea for all the guests. I like that the room has enough space for 3 adults and 3 big suitcases. We like that they provide free bottled water when they can but sometimes we only get one bottle in spite the fact that there are 3 guests in the room. We like that the hotel is 3 mins walk to the subway and 5 mins walk to the bus stop. It is one subway station away from Myeongdong. And there are few restaurants and convenience store like CU around the hotel.

In spite the room cleaning service we had everyday, our bedsheet was only change once only because we requested it. The cleaning only involves making the bed and emptying the rubbish bins, everything else was not cleaned. Hence, the dirty floor and the sink full of soap scum and toothpaste. The hotel entrance is inside an alley. The entrance of that alley seems like the designated smoking area of the entire place thats why u always have to walk pass 3 or more people smoking in that area. I was told that only heater works during winter and spring. So dont expect the aircon to work during these season. We had to keep the windows open when we leave the hotel as the room feels really hot every time we came back from our journey.

Really really comfortable bed and pillow. Strategic location - walking distance to Myeongdong and Namdaemun; Seoul station is just one stop away; Shinsegae mall, Lotte mall are nearby. Room got window, ventilation is good. Room is quite spacious. Floor is warm.

The WiFi connection keeps dis-connected at night. Room 301, the door is opened to the inside (other rooms on the same floor are opened to outside), so it is quite inconvenient when coming in and out.

This hotel was everything we expected when we booked. We expected a compact room with facilities, and that's what we got. A small guest lounge downstairs for tea and coffee. A friendly and helpful team. It's a bed for the night in a good location a short stroll from the main action in Myeongdong.

A wider range of tea options in the guest kitchen area would have been appreciated, but reality is the local convenience stores had some alternatives. If you like Western style black tea, worth taking some with you. (PG Tips, or Barry's?)

The room was clean and daily cleaning was provided. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The window could be opened to let in fresh air, and the air conditioner was strong enough to heat the room during winter. The staff were super accomodating and tried their best with any requests. The location of the hotel is convenient for touring Seoul and it also has good bus connections to Incheon.

The sound proofing for rooms is bad. I could hear neighboring rooms shower and other plumbing noises. However, it was mostly a non-issue and I was able to sleep well during the nights. The room wifi didn't have any security or password. There could've been some hangers or coat hooks in the small entrance of the room for outerwear.

From the minute I arrived the lady manager was fantastic..all the staff are so friendly and helpful.. they will do anything to help you and always have a smile.. the hotel is lovely and clean, warm atmosphere and it felt like i was staying with family. I would share my daily adventures with them and they helped me find my way around...if I am going back next year I will definitely book here again.

Value for money no frill clean accommodation. Good heating system to keep us warm in winter. Both staff in night and morning shift are friendly and helpful. I am thankful to the lady staff doing the morning shift at the reception. She went the extra miles to help us secure advance transportation booking to pick us from the hotel early in the morning at 4.30am on eve of Seollal new year. Due to last min change in train timing given by booking agent, we were placed in a situation where there is no metro train early in the morning for us to take to Seoul Station. And we are at risk of not able to get a taxi at 4.30am on eve of Seollal. My 80 years old mother can't walk long distance and I don't want to risk making her walk 20mins in the cold winter. The lady reception understands the situation I am facing and went all out to look for transportation solution for our family so that my mum don't have to walk 20mins to Seoul Station. I didn't manage to get the name of the lady but I just want to say Thank you to you.

The location is amazing, and the staff are the nicest: such responsive and friendly people! Last year we stayed here, and as we liked it so much, coming back home, made a reservation for the next year immediately! And this year too it came up to our expectations!

The standard rooms are a little bit small, especially when you're with two luggage bags, but they are very clean with all necessary facilities.
