great location. easy to get to from the airport, used bus 6002, the station is just 3 minutes away from the hotel and it runs almost 24 h which helps when your flight back is at 8:50. The staff is really nice. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop terrace and even a place you can do your laundry for free. You can get anywhere for the hotel, buses and metro lines are very practical. All in all, highly recommend the hotel. :)

the room is in fact small, the listing however does specify this, so it was not a surprise. while the bathroom and linens were nice and clean, there where some wired stains on the walls, like rust, not sure from what, not much of a problem though.

The location was perfect and within walking distance of alot we wanted to see. It was also a few metres from a subway station. Behind the gold shops across the road we found alot of charming alleys with all sorts of shops and eateries that included barbecue restaurants and some places that specialised in desserts. Also loved having a meal at the top of the building, the free use of the laundry facilities , the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

Only one thing, and that is the water would go beneath the glass shower screen and wet the rest of the bathroom, when showering. Luckily, we could easily ask for extra towels, to mop it up, but it was a bit of a nuisance.

The room was really nice, super comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, warm shower and good water pressure. Warm room but with AC available. There's a safe. 2 free water bottles in the mini fridge were a nice surprise! The area around is a bit weird, you gotta get through an alley with raw fish sitting in the open in order to access the hotel but it's basically perfect otherwise. Free laundry machines with detergent in the basement! Check out time being 11am is also wonderful for taking your time packing. There are McDonald's and Starbucks close by for easy take away breakfast (only until 11am). Seven Eleven also close by and always open! The Jongno 3-ga station is right on the street by the alley (take exit 14 for escalator when arriving, don't be like me and look for an elevator on the other side of the street T.T). Convenient access to many many areas including the airports. Airport bus stop also super close. Highly recommended.

Only downside is the shower. It had no door or curtain and the water got everywhere as far as under the sink and took a while to drain. The toilet area was spared the flooding thankfully.

The Hotel was clean and provided all requirements. Staff were wonderful and friendly - very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The Hotel was close to many sights most in walking distance, it was easy to navigate and central to everything i wanted to see.

I loved that the hotel was really close to the Jongno 3-ga subway station and bus stop, as well as to the airport bus stop. The staff was friendly and helpful, the amenities were good - I loved that I could do my laundry in the basement of the hotel. I also appreciated that they provided me with conditioner and body lotion on top of shower gel and shampoo. The bed was comfortable and I was given two pillows I could choose from - a softer one and a firmer one. The staff cleans the room thoroughly whenever instructed through the door sign. As others have mentioned, Grid Inn feels like a true boutique hotel. Overall, it was a good choice of accommodation.

The alley leading to the hotel doesn't look the best, especially at night. It's also next to a food street, so you might be passing by drunk crowds and older ladies frying fish. The room is on the smaller side, which is not unusual for Seoul, but I would have loved more storage space. The wardrobe was rather tiny and had a safe and a weight inside, which made it even more cramped.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect. The hotel is close to some attractions (Cheonggyecheon plaza, Changgyeonggung palace & Jongmyo Shrine, Insa-dong street), so it's easy to reach them by foot (less than 30 minutes, I'd say), but if walking gets tiring, there's a subway stop right in front of the hotel. Also, there's a street nearby with lots of restaurants/places to eat that I recommend visiting (Seoul Jongno-gu Nagwon-dong 146-2).

The room is a bit small and the hotel is in a secondary street surrounded by fish restaurant and the smell is very pungent when reaching the hotel. Also, the entrance is a bit hidden, and it might be difficult to find for the first time.

The staff were uniformly great. Rooms were a decent size and clean. The laundry was free and very convenient (and were of commercial quality - the drier actually dried our clothes in a reasonable amount of time.) The hotel is a very short walk from the Jongno-3 metro station, down a small alley. (Note that the hotel lobby is down a small alley to the left just before you reach the 'Grid Inn Cafe' entrance when coming from the Jongno 3 direction. A little tricky to see when finding the hotel for the first time). Would stay here again.

No complaints. This was a pleasant stay.

Close location to Subway and bus system. View from rooftop; quiet facility. Staff was OUTSTANDING; upon check out they secured our TAXI ride at 445 am and walked us to the driver. All staff spoke English and made us feel welcome. Free laundry; free water in room; Converter outlets in the room. Pillows were super comfy! Clean hallways. I would recommend this property...walking distance to Tapgol park; Gwangjang mkt; easy on and off buses and subway.

Down an alleyway. no food available; Shower was good but no door so water got everwhere. towels were thin. Overall positive experience.

The location was excellent, hidden in narrow rows of the Jongno area, very fascinating. The staff is very helpful and the rooftop terrace open for all the guests to just relax is really the cherry on top

The room gets heat up very easily, it can get pretty warm (and I visited in March).

The location is chef’s kiss. Right in the centre, 3 different lines (blue, purple and orange). And if you’re a runner like me, there’s a running track right behind the hotel, right next to a river, great vibes and view. If you’re exiting from Jungno3 station, line 1, take exit 14, with the escalator, or if you’re with kids or lots of luggage, take exit 12, with the elevator. The hotel is right in between a pharmacist and a coffee shop, in the valley, walk straight pass 2 fish shops and turn left, there’s the grid inn hotel. The facility is amazing. It has free laundry services (washing machine and dryer available at basement, with detergent and softener provided). The staffs are also so kind and so helpful! On my arrival, it wasn’t check in time yet, so we left our luggages at the lobby. When we came back later the evening, our bags were in the room ready for us. Amazing! And one of the male staff (ahjussi) was always smiling and greet us with warmth. Thank you for this amazing stay! Highly recommend!!!
