This hotel is not cheap but given Seoul seems expensive (also judging by scanning other hotel options) we were pleasantly surprised by the good quality and thus value for money we received. This includes very spacious rooms, a good inclusive breakfast and cute little roof terrace with some tables, chairs and a nice view (especially at night). Two times went up there it was just us with our drinks and snacks, playing cards and enjoying the view - fab! The location is convenient with 2 metro/subway station very close (5 minutes walk) as well as a local high street with all kind of shops and restaurants. It is also in walking distance of Ikseon-dong Hanok Village, a popular attraction for visitors and locals on evenings and weekends for food, drink and strolling around.

The hotel (like some others in that area) is tucked away from roads and could be hard to find without mobile mapping and is not easily accessible by car. Access is essentially via small maze of back alleys and when you need a taxi they recommend to walk to the nearest road. But it's 2 minutes and no problem really. There are also 2 metro/subway stations 5 minutes walk away.

The Hotels was perfectly placed, easy access with 2 metro stations nearby. There are many shops with everything you could need. The Hotel is also very close to the ikseong dong Hanok Village with so many amazing restaurants. The staff is very friendly, always ready to assist you. The room is cleaned everyday, with fresh towels, the bed made to perfection.

In my opinion the room needed at least a small wardrobe cabinet, for our jackets and other clothes that need to be hang up, like dresses or formal clothing. Also I would feel more comfortable if the shower had a glass door or a curtain for more privacy and to keep water for spilling in the bathroom during shower.

Perfect location for visiting all of the top sights in Seoul and very close to the Gwangjang market. The room was spotless and cleaned every day as long as the "clean room" sign was left on with 2x500 ml bottles of water being provided daily as well. The room was very large. While it doesn't have "luxuries", all necessities are well taken care of. Beds were very comfortable and soap, shower gel, shampoo are provided. I also noticed some people had complained about taxis not being able to access the hotel. While the hotel is on a street with no cars, another hotel is just a few metres in front on a busy street and taxis can be called / drop offs can be made to that location without extra hassle.

The laundry room seemed to always be closed even though I went during its open hours (08:00-19:00).

The hotel is modern and perfectly located. You can walk to the two main northern palaces and to DDP (approximately 30'). Close to two metro stops with lot of lines. The room was big, clean anc comfortable. The staff was super friendly and willing to help. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Seoul!

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

We stayed with them for 6 days, and we travelled with our senior citizen family members. The room was very clean, including the bathrooms. Linens are being well kept clean everyday. The breakfast spread had enough options to fill you up to kickstart the day. The room was very spacious. We had a lot of space enough for our stuff. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and will definitely come back.

Maybe they can offer room service in the future because their food was very good. Considering the winter season, there are days that we are challenged to go out to eat because of the cold weather but we had to because no food was available in the hotel aside from the breakfast time. However, this is manageable and just a nice to have. Another improvement perhaps is assistance for transportation since the hotel is not located to a spot that cars can pick guests on the spot. A little walk is still necessary to reach the pickup point, which could be challenging when you are travelling with older or those that has challenges with walking.

Underfloor heating meant the room was always warm, good location - walkable distance to Myeongdong, the palace and lots of coffee shops around. Also walking distance to the metro stations. 2 free water bottles provided every day of our stay. Breakfast was basic but they offered English and Korean foods along with coffee and juice so was pretty good.

Nothing really, everything met our expectations.

Convenient location between several metro stops, lots of local restaurants and convenience stores close by. Away from the noise of Myongdeong, but very walkable. Room was very comfortable, and it was nice to have things like a kettle, fridge and hairdryer. Larger than average for Korea. Rooftop patio was nice to sit on.

Beds are more on the firm side. Self- service laundry facilities in the hotel would be nice (there is a send out laundry service, but at 5000won per shirt, it is prohibitively expensive).

Cannot praise the location enough it was excellent! We were able to easily walk to Myeong-dong, Ikseon-dong, Changdeokgung Palace and more. Everything else we needed we reached via one of two subway stations located less than 5 minute walk in either direction. It is down some side streets but wasn’t difficult to find at all thanks to their signs and using Naver Maps. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the roof garden an added bonus. We would absolutely stay here again next time we visit Seoul as it was such good value for money too.

If I’m being picky then perhaps more storage space in the bedroom would have been better - the room certainly felt large enough for another wardrobe. There was also some dust underneath the bed but again not really a huge negative!

This was our second stay in Hotel Nafore, but this time with a bigger bedroom. This is of course more convenient, plenty of space for you to move around and feel comfortable. I copy my old review here for the rest: Good hotel option near Jongno 3-ga and Euljiro 4(sa)ga. There are also plenty of bus options nearby. Staff was nice and the room had a good size. You can also find quite a few restaurant options nearby and Insa-Dong is within walking distance.

Although this a different room, the "problems" were the same: The bathroom has a great size and the shower is good, but unfortunately there is no curtain/door closing the bathtub from the rest of the bathroom, so either you get the bathroom completely wet or you take a shower using less water. The breakfast is good, but there's not too much variety. There are no cold cuts, for example. However, the fried rice and kimchi were good.

Location is top notch. 5 minutes to Jongno-3-Ga, 7 minutes to Euljiro-3-Ga, you can get to anywhere in Seoul from there Large room, comfortable feel Friendly and flexible staff Good breakfast, 7 - 10 am, 9000 won per person
