I arrived without my luggage. The hotel was kind enough to receive it from the airline and keep it for me. The front office staff, especially Hong Jae-Hyeon, were very helpful. Jay untiringly got me cabs, coordinated directions and helped me figure out small things that would have been very challenging without knowing Korean. The breakfast was pretty good. I would have liked a little better variety with the vegetarian options but it was certainly adequate. I have to add I absolutely loved the flush-console! I wish Western countries had these advanced facilities.

More vegetarian options at breakfast! I think we always underestimate how small Ibis rooms are. If you want to store snacks and cookies for a long stay, sometimes there is a shortage of counter space.

Starting with the breakfast - it had enough veg options, enough options for continental selections and asian too. It was super clean, the staff recognise you after a few days and where you like to sit. Enough quite and busy spots so you can get a mix of atmosphere. Insanely clean room, everything in top condition and they follow instructions to the T. Right from suggesting local experiences, to booking taxis, to having a brilliant money exchange machine, this place feels like a 5 star property. Super service and very very helpful. Plus location is close to exhibition centres, and lots of fun things to do but still not too busy.

The place does not have a spa / sauna or swimming pool / jacuzzi. Very much needed.

The room had a very comfortable sofa and was overall well designed. It had a fridge and a safebox and the bathroom was spacious enough. It was located within an easy walk of the metro and the Coex centre, very convenient. The staff members were very helpful.

My room had a big stain on the carpet near the door, it could have been covered maybe, but took from the otherwise excellent room. Breakfast finished strictly at 10 ...a bit more time would have been nice. My first evening there was a rainy one and it is a bit that the bar upstairs is not open later.

Staff let us check in 2 hrs earlier. Buffett breakky was good. Lots of options. Requested iron and ironing board and was given to us asap. Shower was great… fast heating, high pressure and easy to navigate temperature.

I wish there was teaspoon in our room for making hot drinks.. but was given some upon tequest. Only thing is, I think the teaspoos was not washed daily and we stayed for 5 nights. Still, only a small matter.

The staff was absolutely amazing, genuinely, it's what makes this hotel so good. I unfortunately didn't take any names, but on several occasions they went above and beyond to help us. My mother needed to get some cash for the laundromat and the lady at the front desk walked her to the convenience store and back as it was at night, one time the cleaning staff forgot to give us toilet paper (not maliciously, we left very late that day so they surely had little time to clean our room or it simply slipped their mind) and when we asked for some the receptionist and manager brought it personally and apologised. We also got upgraded to a better room when the AC needed a repair in our original room we were meant to stay in. Honestly these people are so good. The location is also very convenient, just a walk away from COEX and an easy walk to T1 as well if you're into esports. It was great!

Nothing, it was all really nice.

The location is very apt, close to many eating places, nice bakery and grocery stores. It's very close to the bus stop. One can avail the airport bus from this stop as well. It is very close to the COEX mall, which was my conference centre. The morning buffet is very delicious and has lot of options for vegetarians as well. One of the things that I found quite useful was the laundry service where I could use the washer and dryer to do my own laundry by putting some cash. This was really convenient for me. The room was also very clean and my stay was very comfortable.

I absolutely liked everything about this hotel, which in my opinion should have 4 stars. Every single detail is carefully taken care of from the great service at the front desk and the staff at the restaurant to the spectacular food at their restaurant. Chef Baek Ju Min (Devin) is the best! Thank you for the delicious food you prepare every day! I even cancelled my reservation at another hotel and booked this one again as I loved everything! iBIS Gangnam was fancy, clean and sophisticated the moment we walked in for our check-in. Definitely matched the whole prestige and modern vibe of Gangnam and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were booked in for 10 days and it was so convenient bus-wise and the airport shuttle to go back to Incheon Airport was also very close to the hotel. Housekeeping was consistent and we received great front-desk service. Definitely a great place to stay if you're wanting to stay in the Gangnam area.

Probably the only downside is that it was quite a walk to the nearest metro station (Seolleung). Also we were aware of the "greener, non-wasteful movement" the hotel was trying to achieve but we wanted to change our sheets half way through our 10-night stay so we placed the card sign for this request on our beds. However, I guess housekeeping didn't want to go through the trouble of changing the sheets because we sure did notice it wasn't changed. It was a bummer but it wasn't major to affect our lovely stay. I just wish they didn't have that option if they were just going to ignore it.

This hotel was a perfect choice for my recent work trip. The location was ideal, situated within walking distance of my meetings and surrounded by a variety of excellent restaurants. The comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep after a long day of meetings. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable stay

The hotel itself was beautiful and offered excellent amenities. However, some staff interactions felt less than friendly. Their demeanor sometimes felt impersonal or even dismissive. For example, during check-in, the receptionist seemed rushed and didn't answer my questions thoroughly. With additional customer service training for staff, the hotel could significantly enhance the guest experience

I stayed 2 weeks in this hotel: the first 8 nights were paid by my employer in a "superior room", and then I booked 5 nights through booking.com in a "standard room". The main difference between these rooms is that the former was renovated, so the furniture is a bit more new, but both rooms are on the same confort level in my opinion. This hotel's location is great for gangnam, not too far away from subway lines, and close to COEX. Moreover, the hotel is two streets away from a region full of restaurants and bars (and they were all amazing and friendly!!). There are many options for eating out, and many convenience stores around for buying snacks and other stuff. If you want to stay in gangnam, I would say this place is a very solid choice. The staff was great, all my interactions with them were very pleasant, I felt very welcomed. I was very pleased with the included breakfast: many nice options. I ate well everyday!

My only complain is regarding cleaning. One caviat with the standard room was that the walls were very very very dirty. I could see the black crust of dust on top of the walls, so I was a bit worried as I'm quite allergic. The sheets also had some holes on them.
