If I could give this location, 100 stars I would. The owners are so sweet and so kind. They were incredibly accommodating and supportive. As a solo female traveler, it can be a little bit overwhelming at times to be in a new location. On my last night there, I lost my room key and the owners were so quick to run over and support me getting back in my room. They are incredible. When trying to decide which of the many guest houses to stay in in this area, I could not recommend this location more. Easy walking distance to trains, lots of great shops in the area, incredible owners. Choose this stay. Worth every penny.

I adored the owners who were very friendly and helpful in every possibile way (and I did ask for some crazy things that they could have easily ignored). It gave you a very good feel what living in these houses felt like in the historical eras, Breakfast.

The first time it was a bit difficult to find. It is better to come from North than from West (it is a side street for pedestrians only and from the West you need to climb the stairs). I traveled with a lot of luggage (2 suitcases) and the room was too small to fit the suitcases open, not even talking about taking things out of the suitcase,

The house owners were friendly and we felt welcomed. Have a great experience to stay in an 100 years old hanok traditional home!.The mattress, bathroom and items provided are clean and comfy. Lady house owner cooked us hot tasty breakfast every morning too. My daughter and I really enjoyed the stay. Will definitely come back again. The location shown on Booking.com map is not accurate. The house is actually further in which is at the other end of Bukchon street after you exit from Anguk exit 3. Look for Inu House on Naver map instead. The distance was abit far for us with 2 large luggage. Need about 12mins walk from exit 3.

Friendly hosts who were welcoming and polite. I enjoyed the traditional hanok architecture and the experience of the room and surrounding village. Surprisingly, I was able to enjoy a deep sleep on the floor-bed. Breakfast was freshly cooked by my host in the morning, served hot in my room.

It was quite a challenge to locate the place, as the Naver Map is mostly in korean, and not really 'English-friendly'. Google map doesn't really help here in Seoul. Thankfully, the man whom I approached in a shop near Anguk station was very kind to show me the direction. It will be good if the host provide a map from Anguk Station to the guesthouse.

The hosts were lovely, location provides easy access to palaces and restaurant areas, great running routes up the hill around Samcheong Park, and easy public transport everywhere; aesthetics of the hanok itself were great; and wonderful (Korean style) breakfast. I don't eat meat but the host compensated with other things that were delicious, fresh, and kept me full for hours.

Everything was great. The only thing I'd add to the room is a reading lamp and maybe a larger pillow to sit against (I'm from Israel and, as elsewhere in the region, we lounge on pillows).

The house is so cute and the location in Bukchon so peaceful and quiet. The room was small but the bed was really comfortable and all was super clean. The owners were also really friendly and did what they could to help despite their limited English. They offered me a typical welcome drink made of rice. Wanted to come back at the end of my trip but they are fully booked for my dates.

Those who are tall might find it hard to get into the bathroom. Room has hardly space for luggage. The area is not that lively at night (restaurants close early) but that’s part of the charm.

- The rooms are quite small and the bathroom had a very low ceiling which may be uncomfortable for taller guests

Great experience for a night... staying in a traditional Korean room. We enjoyed it. Quiet area but a few minutes walk from some shops and restaurants. Fun to eat breakfast in the room in the morning. The hosts very very nice and welcoming.

Would be better if the hosts sent out some detailed instructions, maybe with a few photos, to help find the place. Was a bit frustrating trying to find it, especially as no map app is perfect for Korea (in English).

The hosts were amazing. They were super sweet and showed us around the hanok when we arrived. The home itself is beautiful and well-maintained. Beds are very comfortable. The breakfast prepared by the hosts was delicious. They even helped us book a taxi and helped carry our luggage to the accessible road. We had the most amazing stay at this property, I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bukchon Hanok village!

Very clean traditional Hanok house with super kind host family. Thank you again so much for the umbrellas you gave to us when it was raining very strongly. We were happy to stay on your house and we enjoyed also a lot the traditional Korean breakfast. Location is great, within walking distance to the Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village.
