We loved the hotel, the ground floor was stylish & breakfast excellent. We had a large room on the fifth floor, with a balcony, which was nice to sit on & watch the swifts swooping by the tops of the trees below us. The parking was great, with the lift from the hotel taking you straight there. The pool was nice to cool off.

The room was a little tired & the bottom sheet on the bed had a hole in it. The wardrobe doors needed adjusting as well as the cupboard that housed the fridge. Also the water didn’t drain properly in the sink. The fridge also made funny noises. Just tiny things that wouldn’t have taken much to put right.

Absolutely great hotel! Very friendly and welcoming on reception with sweets and flavoured waters available. Fernando on reception was very helpful and welcoming. Lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. Coffee machine, water all provided. Excellent buffet breakfast with lots of choice and all very fresh and of good quality. The bonus is a lovely rooftop pool and an outside terrace for drinks or dining. We had dinner in the hotel which was excellently prepared and delicious. A great hotel.

The only down side is it's slightly out of the centre of Alicante - a good twenty/twenty-five minute walk away.

It is very far out, but Spar beside it and a few bars and restaurants near. Staff are lovely, reception area extends into a bar/sitting area and then restaurant there too. Pool area was adequate with small rooftop pool. The bedroom was fine and spotless. Mini bar, safe no coffee/tea options. Bathroom again was fine and spacious.

I booked the hotel because it is pet friendly. Charge is e25.00 per night which was fine. There wasn't even a bowl for water in the room. Dog only allowed in bedroom NO other areas in hotel. I thought it would be like Hilton in Madrid where our dog was really looked after. Obviously he could not go to restaurant or pool, but could sit quietly beside us in lobby area. Water, bowl, and blanket where also provided.

- big spacious room - air conditioning - huge opening window - fantastic amenities - exceptional staff (+ got a free desert gifted on my birthday) - lovely terrace and rooftop - wonderful restaurant - great shower pressure

- bedding was a bit complicated and bed was only remade, never changed - location is mildly inconvenient if you don't drive, though transport links are good - no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room

The room was nice and suitable and a cot was provided as requested. The staff were very nice both at check-in and during breakfast. The breakfast was nice and complete and the rooftop pool was very enjoyable. Perhaps just to note that we did see some people that did not appear to be guests at the pool and who later left the hotel in a rush. So maybe something to review and monitor further specially for the security of the paying guests. The hotel is a bit far away from the city centre, which for the hotel rate you pay would be the only point to note. We struggled for a while to get a taxi and ended up having to call as the line from reception was not good.

Good hotel in Alicante!

This is a lovely hotel with excellent appointments and a cool but friendly staff. We were fortunate to have a room in an upper floor with a panoramic view of the city. The external lifts added excitement. We can confidently forecast that the view will change in the next few years because the large open area of real estate between the hotel and the nearest buildings must be tempting to developers. As fans of the NH chain with many years of experience, it raised rather than lowered our positive attitude to the chain.

For an ancient couple who are no longer as sprightly as they would like to be, the hotel was too far from the town centre. There is a bus service from nearby which has convenient stops in the city for the old quarter. the archeological museum and the hilltop castle but the brevity of our stay drove us into taking taxis into and out of town. They were easily booked, convenient and relatively cheap.

The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are big. The lobby and restaurant are stylish and the roof terrace is very nice.

Someone should be upstairs manning the jacuzzi,sauna etc. they could do with someone maintaining them. There were crisps on floor and the feeling they were just left to be used without maintenance. Also our bathroom had tape on the radiators and some black patchy grouting done

The rooms were lovely and clean and comfortable. Be careful as not all rooms have a balcony

The late opening off the pool. Doesn’t open till 10.30 and very few sun beds. Pool was quite small and needed an over haul. Pool is on the 7th floor and if you need a drink you have to go down to reception as bar on 6th floor does not open till 6.30

The service overall was very good, a special mention for Daniel at the rooftop bar. It is a very comfortable hotel.

We missed some lighting on the balcony. It is not close to the center of the city. However, it is a 25 min walk to downtown and we took a taxi back for €8. There are some ok bars and restaurants in the neighbourhood. And there is a good bus service to the center of town and the city beach for very little money.
