Lovely place & clean. Staff were excellent

The beach it opens onto is a pebble beach, not the hotels fault but location wise if you wanted to go to the beach it wasn’t the best We just stayed in the hotel by the pool instead which was lovely

The food quality in the restaurant was lovely at breakfast and dinner. The pools were fantastic and it was refreshing for staff to regularly police the reserving of beds at the pools to ensure everyone could get beds easily.

The food at the buffet that needed to be hot often does not have any or adequate hot plates to keep food warm. This is a shame and lets it down a little. Staff are replenishing as often as they can especially when they see a dish is empty, which is great; but it does mean if you don’t get in fast enough after a new dish has been replenished some food will be undoubtedly cold.

Spa was great, and the size of the room was pretty decent, with a nice view and balcony

Location isn't great, there were no restaurants/bars around, the only closest one was closed. It didn't help that all restaurants in the hotel were closed, only the buffet was available. Understandable considering it wasn't peak season, but still, there were no other options around so it was a bit restricted.

-clean and spacious room -great pool area and a nice indoor pool that kids are accepted all day without additional fee -well located in front of the beach (although the sea is not nice for swimming there) -friendly and super helpful staff -amazing restaurant close to the pool (but only open 13:30-15:30)

-it was quite challenging to find something to eat in the evening, only room service was available. Would be nice to have the possibility of a light snack by the pool. I assume that during high season, the hotel offers more options -same for the spa, you would expect that during the weekend it is open all day -i found the mattress too hard, but that's, of course, very personal -i believe that the rooms without see view are not really worth their price

Fabulous hotel with fantastic staff all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great and the facilities were top notch.

It's a little too isolated if you want to go to Altea old town walking but taxis are available. Poolside bar is quite expensive

Big and nice hotel on the sea shore. The breakfast was pretty good and all the rest of the restaurants in the hotel were good as well. The room was very big. There was a big balcony, safe box, shower and bath in the room. Nice restaurants and supermarket is located nearby the hotel. Also, there is a big parking lot just in front of the reception.

There is a stone beach near the hotel. Therefore, if one likes a sandy beach, that might be an issue. As an alternative, travel to nearby towns with sandy beaches or stay near the pool. The famous tram was not in service during my stay. However, one may use bus or taxi. Taxi to Calpe is ~15 EUR

The breakfast was excellent the choice was vast lots of hot and cold choices good coffee fresh juices best breakfast ive ever had at a hotel

Room was getting a bit shabby and dated around the bath the mastic was black and mouldy the wallpaper in the bedroom was very marked and dirty looking Outside on the landing there was a bucket in the middle of the floor catching a leak was there for four days and still there when we left not something you expect to see at a 5* hotel

The food and buffet were great, the service staff 10! We enjoyed the Italian man who was quite attentive. The food was better than we expected.

There was no way to connect to Netflix or any other internet app on the television! This is the first time in our many many travels that this has happened. It made the “relaxing” part of the stay a little less relaxing. There was also strange stains and leaks in parts of the hall. But overall I would say that it was acceptable especiallly being off season. It’s a bit far off from Altea itself but if you have a car it’s not bad.

Hotel excellent as were staff. Lovely views and food in restaurant was of a high standard.

Lack of choice of retaurants. While buffet food was of a high standard no other options were available.Disappointed that the Asian restaurant was closed for our stay. Lobby bar was fine but lacked atmosphere as one felt they were sitting in the Hotel lobby.A little piped music or a pianist would have been welcome. I had heard good reports about your Purple Rain Bar and again was disappointed to learn that it has been permanently closed. For a 5 star rated hotel there should be more choice for dining and having a drink. Otherwise a pleasent stay.

Loved the large bedrooms, view, swimming pools. Any problems were quickly resolved. Great pool bar!!

Think the hotel needs to be mindful that they are encouraging families but don’t let any toys in the pool area. There are 3 pools so I think it would be reasonable for the top pool to be child friendly. Also the bathrooms and bedroom furniture could do with updating. Lastly the hot food at breakfast was usually cold but we went for the many other options.
