the woman who checked me in was so sweet and kind and it was a real kindness. It felt like we were old friends or a friend of the family. I was amazed by the size and layout of the room. Huge balcony that looked out to the pool. The living room stepped down from the kitchen. there was actually a very nice size storage closet to hide my suit case, shoes and dirty clothes. Bathroom was big and good lighting. The hotel is not on the beach but it only took 11 minutes to the promenade and it was actually a nice walk. It was just a 4 minute walk to the major bus stop. I used the stop from/to the airport and I used it to take a 40 minute journey to one of the northern beaches. From this bus stop, you can get to anywhere on the island. The cleaning on the inside was very good. The garden was very well taken care of. Every morning the pool decking was washed and one morning I got an eyefull to see see 6 women and a man washing all the pool lounge chairs - with soapy water. The whole place was very clean. Very friendly staff. The breakfast and coffee was a good as anywhere in town. I didn't eat dinner here but would have, had my dinners not been pre-planned. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

the only thing that I didn't like was that the cleaning in my room was too often. I know that sounds weird but I travel alone and I am a clean guy so I don't really need much attention. Unfortunately the cleaning ladies didn't follow the signs in the bathroom about conserving precious water. I hang my towels to use them again. But the cleaning ladies kept taking the towels - even the ones I didn't use.

The bar on site is lovely and reasonable, it does good and drinks and specials, you can get drinks to take to the pool, the little shop that does fresh sandwiches is a must, cleaners came in daily, plenty of bars and restaurants near by, we had a two bed apartment and it actually came with two bathrooms which we didn’t expect, reception great complex was great two pool areas one with a slightly heated pool and one you can use lilos and balls in, there’s a water machine on site 60 cents for 5 litres there’s also washers on site and a pool table

The sun beds were uncomfy and could maybe do with more but we always managed to get on or there’s the grass to lie on

Nice, spacious rooms. Good location in Los Cristianos: veru close to the bus station, relatively close to av Los Playeros, and to the beach. Nice friendly staff. We had a pool-facing apartment, which was very nice. I imagine, those facing the street, get much more noice and the view is not as good.

no WiFi in the apartment - this was apparently a temporarily condition, because internet cables were being replaced, but worth checking next time beforehand. The gas stove required matches to light it up. Parking is difficult during the working hours, i.e., roughly between 9 until 17:30. Outside of these hours, there is plenty of street parking space right next to the apartments.

The apartment complex was great. It was very well kept, and also had a nature aspect to it with all the lovely gardens, which I really loved. The view of the mountains from our balcony was amazing. You couldn’t ask for a better pool area, as there were four main pools, and also two smaller pools for young children. The complex was also very central, close to the strip of restaurants/bars and also the beach.

I did not like the fact that not all of the apartments had air con. Our apartment did not have air con and we found this very stressful as a family. We struggled to sleep most nights, leaving us feeling tired every morning with a busy day ahead. We had to pay at reception for fans, however they were fairly useless. Also, the restaurant in the complex closed way to early at 6pm. Therefore, if you wanted to have a quiet night in and have dinner in the complex you were staying in, you could not unless you went for dinner before 6pm, which is ridiculous. For both these reasons alone, we would not stay at Apartmentos HG Christian Sur again.

Reception staff were always helpful - warm and friendly. They could not have been more helpful. Beds were super comfortable. Property and site were very clean and cleaners were very friendly. Property was well equipped and very near to shops, beach, bus network.

WiFi could have been better. Given what we paid it was slightly surprising to find that WiFi is not included and required an additional payment! I cannot remember the last time I stayed anywhere (hotel or apartment) where WiFi was not included. We were willing to pay the extra, but (for some reason) connecting with Apple devices seemed very complicated and so we gave up and just used 4G which was fine

Second time staying here, Pools were great, very central location for food and shopping. Staff were friendly.

Bins outside were emptied every night around 3- 3.30 am. One bin emptied and then the lorry came around again to do another bin, extremely noisy and broken nights sleep every night for around half an hour to an hour. This was just the apartment we were provided, it may be different on another side of the complex.

The apartment we were in was surprisingly bigger than i expected for two people. The pool and sun beds ( which were free )were lovely. Distance from shops, bars restaurants was ideal. All the staff were extremely friendly.

My biggest dislike was our bedroom, because we were on a level where people were passing and could see in we had to keep the curtain closed all the time so that made the room very dark Also the only mirror in apartment was in the bathroom. I would have loved one in the bedroom.

The poolside house rule of no reserving sun loungers was not enforced by management. Charged for using Wi Fi is unnecessary in this day and age.

Good Location. Clean apartment and pool area. Comfy beds. Housekeeping team friendly and do a great job.

Having to move from sun loungers before 6pm when sun still good. The apartment had no sun as on ground floor at the roadside. The noise of people coming and going as bedroom on ground and everything echoes .

The location compared with staying at the beach was better than before expected. The nearby restaurants fulfilled our requirements. The overall surrounding is much more interesting than before experience.

Difficult question. The facility is possibly old but the design is excellent.
