Lovely hotel and staff; warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the glass of complimentary Cava on arrival. My room was street facing with a little balcony (though with it being a heatwave during my visit the windows weren't open that much!) The room was an ideal size and the bed was extremely comfortable. There's an excellent rainfall shower and soap, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers located in the shower cubicle (good quality too!). I didn't get time to try out the pool but I did take a quick look the day I arrived and it was busy with guests. There's a lovely terrace and bar area just beside the pool. The hotel is perfectly located for getting around the major tourist attractions as well as the many 'off the beaten track' experiences this wonderful city has to offer. The metro and bus service couldn't be easier to navigate - you really don't need to use taxis in this city, but there are PLENTY if walking is not your thing. All in all I felt this hotel was exceptional value for money in a fab location. Highly recommended.

Was very happy with my stay

This was our 6th trip to Barcelona and this is now our favourite hotel. The location was perfect, quick walk from Plaça Catalonia and Les Ramblas, despite central location the hotel was very quiet. The hotel was very clean and the lobby smelt amazing. Hotel staff were very friendly and so helpful. Room was surprisingly large, we had a huge double bed and two singles. Beds were super comfortable. Air conditioning was much needed! Pool and bar area was very relaxing with lovely seating areas, quite small but suited our needs for relaxing and cooling off. Bar menu was great and food looked amazing although we didn’t have time to eat there- next time! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Only issue we had was that the shower was over the bath and it was quite slippery. There may have been bath mats available but we didn’t ask as it wasn’t a huge problem. Shower could be a little temperamental with occasional hot and cold blasts but again didn’t negatively impact on our stay.

I felt extremely safe and well looked after as a solo female traveller. The staff were amazing. Dasha checked me in and was very swift and prompt which helped when you're already tired. My room was massive and I am so in love with the bathroom. Amenities were complete but lacking the bathrobe and slippers, still, not an issue. You only need to ask. The bed is super comfy and my pillows were perfect! When I returned to reception to book a spa massage, a lady tried to cut my queue but the male staff was aware and politely requested she waits her turn. The spa was amazing. I went for the Therapeutic Massage which was done by Luz. She applied just the right pressure to ensure she gets to the knots without causing too much pain. I also would like to thank Katty at the Spa reception for taking the time to recommend me nearby tourist areas to visit.

The hotel has a posh feel about it so could do with relaxing the rules on providing bathrobes :)

Very good location - short walk away from la rambla and Gothic quarter. The reception staff were welcoming and checked us in swiftly. The room was spacious and clean, decent fresh breakfast variety.

There was one porter staff member in particular with the name of 'Oriel' that ruined the whole experience here - he was very rude at all times the way he spoke to my group and kept on asking every time he saw us come in and out of the hotel if we are guests here. This was embarrassing and humiliating as he would shout and stare angrily when asking this and create a scene. He wasn't like this with other guests and no other staff member did this. If you're thinking of staying here and you have brown skin do not bother staying here!

The pool area was amazing, and very welcome after a long day of sightseeing. The staff could have been on hand to clear the unused sunbeds of used towels so that more guests could be accommodated.

The only disappointment was the room arrangement- I specifically booked this hotel because it offered 3 separate beds in the room, but we got one large bed and a sofa bed. We heard another guest complain that he had booked twin beds but also received a king bed. When the people you are sharing with are not your romantic partner, having separate beds really does matter. The other guest was told the hotel was full and there was no chance of changing the room, so we didn’t make a fuss, and perhaps the fault is Booking.command not the hotel’s.

The hotel is very close to play de Cataluna and ramblas. We got a big family room on the ground floor. WiFi was very good. Swimming pool available. Room was big with a big bathroom.

The additional bed was in the sofa, we would have expected a small additional bed. No enough covers on the bed. The price is quite high compared to the quality of the room

The location next to Las Ramblas was excellent and were able to walk or take the metro to the sites. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed the breakfast that had many different options and was very well organized so we didn't have to wait in long lines to get what we wanted. Everything was seamless and we really appreciated that! Good size even for a triple occupancy.

The only detail that was negative was the water temperature in the shower. We were never able to get a constant temperature and went from cold to hot and back again with rhyme or reason.

We had an early flight so we did not add breakfast. Worth noting breakfast was not included in the room rate of €172. The hotel upgraded our room given our stay was only one night. We choose to go out and explore as the evening was so beautiful and did not check out the hotel spa. Staff were excellent even to getting us a taxi to the airport in a timely fashion. We requested some non-dairy milk for our tea in the bedroom and that was no problem.

Bottled water in the bedroom was not complementary, tea and coffee was. The Television kept turning itself three times through the night which woke us up from our sleep.

Our room was spacious, probably 50% larger than comparable hotels. The bathroom was huge with double sinks; walk-in shower was big enough for two. All fixtures and amenities are relatively new. Definitely a 4-star establishment. Located in the middle of busy area, next to restaurants and shops. Good value for the money.

Cold water drips from the overhead rain shower when the hand shower was turned on. Not good but not a big problem either. We just always used the rain shower. Note that the same problem happened with another hotel we stayed while in Spain. A better diverter?
