The staff were so friendly and kind, and the room with shower that we booked was clean and had everything we needed. The common area with the microwave and kettle was perfect for our post-concert midnight snack. Small and quiet hostel.

The only thing I would change is that the room with shower would have a curtain or even one of those wooden room dividers for privacy, and while on the first night the shower was lovely and warm, on the second night when we got back there was no hot water, same in the morning (I guess because other guests had used it all up). But everything else was perfect!

Location: 10 minutes from the theater and basically the center, nice quiet area. No one shouted in the hotel, the shower was always free, although many people lived there. Our room had its own wardrobe, table, toilet, 1 chair and, very importantly, air conditioning.

1. The toilet was in the room but without a door (instead, some cloth was hung there) 2. The view was on a private yard, which was in a terrible condition, as if it had not been washed/restored for 100 years. (but I do not advise you to open it as someone can just smoke out the window and everything will fly into your room) 3. In general, NO ONE spoke to us in English. Neither the woman with whom we corresponded before check-in, nor the man who was at the reception. I am a tourist and I speak English, I have no knowledge of Spanish. It is not a problem to translate it through an online translator, but it was not comfortable at all. 4. It is not easy to find the hotel, as there is no sign that this is it, just an entrance in the middle of the street

Better than I thought. It's a hostel, so don't book it expecting a resort experience, but you get your own room, you can get your own shower as well, and you only need to share a toilet, which is pretty clean. The people working at the reception are amazing. Pretty close to Las Ramblas and the metro station.

It doens't offer breakfast (even paid). If I could pay to have breakfast there I think I'd do. But still, it's pretty close to Las Ramblas with a lot of good options for having breakfast. The neighbourhood is a little different than the rest of Ciutad Vella, it's more like a muslim part of the city, but it's not a problem, just good to know if you're booking the place.

The location was excellent, we were central to everything in Barcelona which made travel super easy. The gothic district was so close which meant we had bars and restaurants on our doorstep. We had a private bathroom and it was clean, we also had a small balcony which was really nice. The staff were also really lovely and helpful!

For my preference, the mattress was too hard and the pillows were quite flat. However, I still slept comfortably and you can't complain for the price and location.

I like this place. Very basic and run down but CLEAN and at least has a bit of character to it. Saved a lot of money and the staff were all nice. Location was perfect for most stuff. I would say I was there at a quiet time and I'd imagine if the place is packed and you have rowdy neighbours it might be an issue... but I'd go back no prob.

The toilet access bit of an issue as in if someone's in it... plus one day (I was there for 4) someone flooded the toilet using the shower. Tbf that got cleared up quickly. I would not book a shared shower room. The local area is run down but I felt perfectly safe. The elevator fits max 2 ppl - I could barely fit into it with a bag on back!

Airconditioning works well. Few minutes away from the main attractions. Has a small elevator to go up. There were private shower in the room but the toilet is separated and shared

Only 1 shared toilet per level. You can really hear your adjacent rooms whatever they were doing even conversations.

Service. Staff always ready for informations. Polish woomen at the front desk speaks fluently English and Spanish.and always ready to help. Excellent location. Warm water in bathroom. Good place.

Size of the room, noisy at nìght- close to police station.but at the same time safe. Don't fully belive in price, they add 10% for some taxes like other places.

Goisa, the lady at reception made my stay Excellent. She was extremely helpful and assisted me in a personal request without hesitation. I felt very comfortable thanks to her especially. The rest of the staff, including the cleaning ladies, were also nice and ready to offer service. Best location, because its in the center, few min. From Ramblas, but its quiet!! Goisa, thank you for making my vacation great!!! I highly recommend. :))

The location of the guest house in the heart of Barcelona (3-5 min. by walk to main alley La Rambla). Cleanest room with TV, the sink inside the room, three sockets (perfect if you need to charge not only one device). Air conditioner working perfectly, sometimes you don't need it. The interior is in excellent condition.

Unfortunately there is no window view to the street (in the room where I am did staying). No electronic room locks yet.

The staff at Pension San Ramon were excellent, courteous and kind and always in good spirits. Location is fantastic and is tucked away in a quiet safe place , not far from the La Rambla and metros Liceu and Drassanes. So the Location is ideal .

Couldn't find fault, I have travelled a lot over the years and the greeting I got from the check in to the check out was exceptional .
