Good location. A few minutes walk to the Beach, Bars & Restaurants. We went half board, breakfast & dinner. The food was just gorgeous. Something different every day. Great value & we saved a fortune not eating out. The only tip I would give is to go to the Restaurant early as the food gets cold. There is a microwave though if you want to queue up to use that. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. Slept like logs every night.

We were in the Ocas Hotel. Our room view was of the Hotel Restaurant roof top. There was a vent machine on top of this roof which was constantly on so this noise disturbance spoilt our relaxation time on our balcony. It sounded like a ship’s engine. Not happy with this at all. There was construction work also going on near the pool area. There is no security checking who enters the Hotel lobby & goes to the elevator so I felt that anyone could break into your room. Other Hotels I have stayed in before used your card key to use the elevator which is much more secure.

To be honest, we were here to see the filming location for the TV series 'Benidorm', so we weren't expecting that much from the hotel. But we were pleasantly surprised. The room was large, comfortable and apart from the bathroom being a little tired, nothing was amiss. It was very quiet, bed was comfortable and we even had a view of the famous pool. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, allowing us to check in early and swiftly sorting out parking wibbles. Breakfast choice was vast. Location very handy for seafront, theme bars including Morgan's tavern. Lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds during our visit.

There was an eggy drainy smell coming in from outside but this may have been outside the hotel's control.

The hotel is clean and spacious. The hotel boasts a large sunbathing and swimming pool area. All the staff we interacted with were helpful. we joined the Melia club for a faster check-in experience. Our room 1025 was clean and presentable. Comfortable beds. Good storage for clothes etc. We opted for Half board. Guests can expect an array of hot and cold food choices. Everything we chose to put on our plates was eaten and tasted good. The evening meal was also well presented and plenty of choice.

The bathroom toilet and shower could have been better. a walk-in shower would have been our preference, as shown. However, we managed with overhead and bath. The toilet was in poor condition; We brought a toilet-cleaning product to remedy the heavily stained bowl. (calked) The elevators could do with an over-hauling. We used the stairs most of the time. The pool swim-up bar was undermanaged. Poor service

The room was perfect. Great shower and bed, plus other facilities such as a fridge. All of the food was superb, with amazing quality and choice.. The hotel is located towards the north end of the beach, so quite a walk from the old town, but there are great bars etc. along the way. The beach itself is a 5 minute walk. For nightlife, you are literally 2-3 minutes from 'the strip'. I didn't see a better pool anywhere in Benidorm, and friends who have returned to this hotel over 20 times assure me there isn't one. The staff were fabulous, thank you!

Well, the lifts are a bit slow, but you get used to it! Otherwise, nothing at all that I could possibly find fault with.

Booked 3 rooms , got 2 ok at check in however 3rd room we didn’t get till 7.30pm it was crazy given 3 separate rooms and when we went to them they were occupied on 4th attempt given a room that wasn’t cleaned. We were on Ocas side the lady on reception did not want to know was very rude clearly not interested. Went to Sol Pelicanos reception after least half hr and the receptionist going to check rooms out did we manage to get sorted. No apologies of course but least she got us our 3rd room

As I was travelling solo I was amazed to find that I had my own twin room with a balcony . Breakfast and evening meal included, lovely staff in reception and a clean room every day. Quite near the strip and bars for entertainment , as my room was near the back of the hotel I didn’t hear much noise.

The lifts were so slow,on the plus side the glass mirrors inside were amazing , like into infinity and beyond.

Amazing pool and atmosphere, the girls on reception were lovely and helpful.

The cleaner couldn't do my room the first night so I said tomorrow please which was agreed but then she didn't come for the rest of the stay and I had soggy towels and dirty sheets.

It’s literally on top of everything. 6 minute from beach. 3 minutes from strip. Shops literally start as you walk out the hotel.

Wasn’t informed we needed to book to use the shower room. We had to check out at 12 but wasn’t leaving hotel until 6. Only had a 2pm shower slot. Obviously we wanted to use the pool so couldn’t have a shower and had to get changed in the toilets. Usually hotels have shower rooms with all day access. Also check in for all visitors is from 4pm.

We have been going to this Hotel for 20 years The Sol Pelicanos and we have always found it a very welcoming Hotel. Everything about the Hotel is 1st class The Food is Great,The room is Great.and the Staff are all wonderful and Helpful. And it is so close to the Beach . We will Definitely be going back,

Buffet meals were fantastic. Staff friendly View from room was good OK balcony with table + 2 chairs Easy 5-10 minute walk to beach Air conditioning was excellent and easy controllable. Hotel was where 'Benidorm' TV series was partly filmed.

No towels provided at pool (disappointing) No kettle in room (disappointing) Hotel entertainment started far too late (so not attended) - went to outside shows Could not use swimming pools before 9am (roped off)
