This is a wonderful place it's a converted flour mill which has a number of ensuite bedrooms with a fantastic bar and restaurant. The bar area once we were there was very busy but the service was exemplary and the food offerings were plentiful. It's an ideal place so stop over if you're on the way to or from one of the northern ferry ports. We've been to Burgos a couple of times before and that's a great place to visit this one is off the beaten tracks so if you don't need to go into Burgos save a few quid and come here you won't be disappointed. Young downside is because the buildings hold even though it's been converted the noise insulation isn't the best having said that the bedrooms are beautifully equipped and comfortable. Quantity and quality we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again for a single night stay on the stopover but it's not a place we would stay for a longer period of time. Finally we think the owners need to increase the price of their accommodation because it is remarkably cheap.

The room had character and all that I needed. I was able to order a nice vegetarian meal which was a treat. I think that their focus was leaning toward locals for the bar and restaurant. I felt like I was the only person there from the Camino.

People were nice, as always, but I did sense that pilgrims, or more likely the extra duties that come with them, were a bit of a nuisance.

The hotel is in a renovated farmhouse and the rooms are clean and quaintly decorated. The bathroom was a good size and clean. We had a very nice dinner on the patio and the waiter was very friendly and explained all the dishes well in English. Good stop for brief stay near Burgos.

The woman serving breakfast wasn’t patient with us since we spoke broken Spanish.

la Fabrica was an old wheat mill converted into a restaurant and hostel. The food was very good, fresh, plentiful and great price. The room was perfect! It was clean and impeccable. All the staff was very nice and helpful. It is a great stop on the Camino de Santiago.

We felt like we stepped into the daily life of a thriving village and had such an amazing experience with the locals. The staff was fabulous and the bedding was the best we've seen on the Camino de Santiago! The shower was luxury. We have our 2 year old with us and they took very good care of us.

That I couldn't duplicate our stay in the next locations! There is nothing not to like.

A little gem a few kilometres outside of Burgos. An old building rebuilt and upkept with love and care. Super experience at a small price. Highly recommended. Just one example: The windows are soundproof, there are shutters to close out the light completely if desired, equipped with fly screens! and if that's not enough, the fly screen can be opened so the window is completely unobstructed. Just simply thought through and done well just like so many other things there. Very high quality rest for a budget. And you'll meet people from all over walking to Santiago de Compostela on the famous path. If you don't need to be "in town" go there, you won't regret it.

It was super busy when we arrived and empty when we left, but that’s not the property’s fault! Fantastic stay.

Room and bathroom were immaculately clean. Bed was comfortable. Best shower on Camino. Food was outstanding! Many locals ate there, made for vibrant scene.

Wish breakfast was served before 8:30. Short distance from town center, but well worth it.

Very suitable if you are in transit from or to the south. Parking is no problem (understatement!) There is a pleasant inn atmosphere. A small bar and a few tasty dishes on the menu. The building is rustic and so is the interior. Thought it was worth staying another night on our way back.

Maybe it's different in the summer. We were there at the end of November in transit. Breakfast was only served from 9 am, which is a bit late if you want to make some progress by the car.

Everything. Great rain shower! Good midway location. Amazing staff and restaurant and food!! Even if you don’t stay definitely stop for drink.

Love it all. But make sure to arrive after 14:00 hora they won’t let you check in early which some places do.
