Fairly basic rooms but clean and quite sizeable. Bathroom totally adequate with powerful shower and no issues with hot water. Aircon quiet and efficient. Slight noise from nearby motorway traffic but not unduly intrusive. Staff helpful and efficient. Great restaurant, quite expensive but superb food quality and excellent service. We have experienced some of the best food we have tasted during our five years as residents of Spain in this restaurant. Car parking always available in the hotel grounds and therefore relatively secure. Breakfast included in the competitive room rate is of good quality and provides ample choice. Very convenient location to the north of Burgos with easy access to the route to Santander and the Brittany Ferries service to Portsmouth or Plymouth.

Terrace area in front of the hotel is predominantly a smoking area and the cafeteria is a little untidy at times. Minor matters.

The room was spacious and comfortable and spotless clean. The main restaurant was very good and exceptional staff - certainly recommend. The breakfast was good

1] The cafeteria restaurant which was the only alternative from the main restaurant - which is intended for more budget meals / drinks seems out of kilter to the hotel and brings down the overall tone - my best description would be like the worst UK motorway service station 2] Though our floor was non smoking - in the evening there was a clear indication of cigarette smoke coming through the ventilation system

Perfect stopover just off the autoroute for our long journey. The room was clean and well presented and with a comfortable bed. The restaurant meal was very good but as in Spain we forgot they don’t start serving till 20.30h so we had tapas in the bar area being our starter which was excellent. Breakfast had a good continental selection.

Only one staff member let it down he checked us in and out. He really needs some retraining his mannerism and arrogant attitude spoiled our arrival and departure all the other staff were excellent in the bar and restaurant with greeting’s and good service.

The hotel is very well organised and all the staff were helpful and efficient. The room was large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot water was plentiful. A special mention must be made of the restaurant La Galeria which was superb. The food was exceptional and the service first rate. All in all a great stay and we will book again when are en route to the Santander ferry port.

Minor issue to us but the terrace at the front of the hotel is used as a smoking area and is littered with cigarette ends.

Rooms very clean and well equipped. Staff very good. Cafeteria & breakfast restaurant well priced ( as lots of locals come there). Ideal location for a stopover on the way to or from the Santander ferry. Parking is outdoor but seems very secure (there are cameras).

It’s a couple of miles outside central Burgos but the very helpful staff told us of a park near the centre where there is free parking & a lovely avenue walk alongside the river into Burgos which is a lovely compact city.

I would rate the restaurant superb. If you like Ribeira de Duero, the list of reds is extensive - perhaps 60 or 70 to choose from. Other wines were is little more limited. I had morcilla de burgos as a starter for which I was charged the princely sum of 2€! My wife had Castillian soup which she rated excellent. We both had fish for the main course - I have rarely tasted better even in a specialist fish restaurant. All of this was served atop beautiful linen cloths and serviettes. The rooms were pretty good and the beds very comfortable. We even enjoyed the gin and tonic from the little bar which was a far cry from the restaurant quality but nonethless friendly.

Rather little I think. Although we were above the bar we didn't hear any noise.

The hotel is very modern and comfortable. There is plenty of car parking and the restaurant onsite is excellent. There is also a cafeteria which is open most of the day and evening. It is only a 10 minute drive into Burgos town. A very handy hotel just off the motorway for a stopover.

The only thing is that the hotel is in an industrial area, so not very appealing when you first arrive, but the hotel itself and restaurant make up for this.

Burgos is a good stop off point for us on our travels and the hotel, situation on the city’s by-pass, means we don’t have to drive through a busy town after a ling day’s driving. This is a very nice hotel with a restaurant as well as a bar which serves good tapas/ snacks all day until late. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Unlike our last visit when we were put on the second floor, this time we were given a room on the first floor with no view other than the hotel’s roof. I asked if it could be changed, but I was told the hotel was full. I wasn’t expecting a view of the cathedral, but it was disappointing to be unable to open the curtains for some natural light as there were men working on the roof. But this is a petty niggle, as the hotel is ideal as a stop-over in other ways

The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. We asked for extra pillows and they were in our room upon our arrival. The bathroom was very spacious with a modern design. The room was also very clean and nicely presented. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendly. We also requested secure parking in the garage which was accommodated. We will definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay there again.

We would have liked tea/ coffee making facilities in the room with complementary tea and coffee and perhaps some biscuits as a nice touch for guests to enjoy at their leisure.

Cleanliness, comfortable beds, friendly staff, good food in the cafeteria, easy parking. Look forward to booking again on our next visit to Spain. 👍
