The accommodation is perfect. Right in the heart of the old town with the beach a 10 minute walk away and the Market 2 minutes. On the 4th floor there is a sun terrace, too hot to use in the day but beautiful at night enjoying a cold glass of wine looking out at the Cathedral. The kitchen is well equipped to be able to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. The beds are very comfortable and a good sized bathroom. The finish on these rooms is to a very high standard. Oh and the air con is very quiet so no slight buzzing sound all night. The attention to detail is what sets this place apart. They have thought of every little thing. For example, having ice cubes already in the freezer compartment of the fridge. Complimentary laundry tabs to use to wash clothes in the laundry room. A clothes drying rack in your room to use. Iron and ironing board

If I had one complaint, and it is just one, would be some sort of shade on the sun terrace to be able to use it in the day.

Attractive modern apartments in a traditional old building with a rooftop terrace for guests to use. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped - all the essentials have been thought of. Our arrival was outwith staffed reception times but if you let them know this in advance they send you clear instructions for getting in. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great - right in the middle of the lively but relaxed Barrio de la Viña - and just round the corner from a huge number of restaurants and tapas bars. The Caleta beach and the fabulous old Mercado are a few minutes' walk away, and it's easy enough to reach the other two beaches by bus. Thoroughly recommend.

Very clean and nice apartment! Also appreciated the other things that the house had to offer, such as the roof top terrace, washing machine, beach umbrellas to borrow. Very nice and friendly staff also. Good location and nice little street.

If anything (because it was overall quite perfect) you could hear the neighbors and cleaning staff into the apartment. Although everyone was generally quiet/normal sounds, you could hear doors opening and closing, things being moved around, etc. Normal noises, but a little loud.

The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bus stop was just around the corner, as was the market

We thought we were booking to stay in the Main hotel as we wanted to stay near calle Virgen de la palma, but when our booking was confirmed it was confirmed for the annex, which is about a 10 minute walk away and not quite such a nice area. It should be clear before you pay where you will be staying and it might be better if there was a separate listing for the main hotel and the Annex

We like and enjoy staying in the hotel: professional friendly staff, room, location, positive vibes, and support. Really well maintained hotel: lift, kitchen, bathroom, patio. We were feeling comfortable since checking in and securing as well. The hotel provided a beach umbrella and chairs.Also, staff ordered a taxi earlier morning for the first train to madrid, and it was coming at the right time. Thanks for everything!

Very convenient location near a busy row of restaurants and Caleta Beach. Apartment was clean and spacious. There's a washing machine and dryer in a public area on the 4th floor. I rented the duplex with a kitchen and small deck on the second floor. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Overall, I was very pleased.

The double bed was just 2 twin beds pushed together. The hot water was so hot it could put you in the hospital. The stairs up to the kitchen needed a better handrail, if you’re a bit wobbly on your feet I wouldn't recommend the duplex.

The parking and directions!! If at all possible get a train or a bus to Cadiz! It's a nightmare to drive around which includes going through a no-entry street to access the hotel as its the only way there and then parking 2 floors down in a traditional Spanish underground carpark that even with a mini was so tight I didn't know how I would get out of my car!!!!

The location was great, the apparent was newly renovated with sleek and modern design, clean, spacious and extremely comfortable. I have traveled around the world and this was by far the best experience I have had with booking in the center of an old city, specially for the value. This made me fall in love with Cadiz even more, I will definitely recommend this place and come back again and again!!! Communication was great too

This was my 3rd visit to Apartamentos Maier and, as before, simply a lovely visit all around. Perfectly situated in old town, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. One block from the coast promenade and perfect for a stroll. Value for money is excellent and the roof top terrace is not to be missed for a glass of wine in the late afternoon. This is our choice for Cadiz, and one of my favorite places in all of Spain.

Great location for this apartment just a short walk to the centre. Everything was lovely and clean. The apartment is quite small, but perfect for a couple or individuals looking for a short stay in Cadiz. Would definitely use again if we came back to Cadiz.

The air conditioning didn't really seem to work in the evenings. It would work for around 5-10 minutes then just turn itself off again (and wouldn't come back on). We stayed in November so it was okay - we just had to open the window.
