Tacande Portals was fantastic - clean and modern with fantastic pool facilities! The breakfast buffet was wonderful - everything you could want, and the evening buffet which we chose on 2 evenings was also great with very fresh food. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and we loved the shuttle into Palma! There is also a lovely cove located just down the road which has a beach bar and another hotel with a fantastic restaurant.

The location is a little out of the way, and the walk to the Portals Nous main strip of bars is very steep - perhaps not the best for elderly people or those with small kids! There is also a lot of building work in the area and our balcony looked directly onto a building site - this didn’t bother us (and the room is sound proof) but something to bear in mind if you like to sit on the balcony!

Great breakfasts, amazing choice. The staff were great from the check in onwards..very helpful. The hotel layout was excellent considering it's set right in the middle of an urban area and the small pools are lovely.

I was not happy about having 2 sets of stairs within the accommodation. I was expecting 1 set up into the room but was not expecting a second set up onto the balcony...this wasn't made clear in the description. The bathroom was very squeezed and awkward to open and close the doors....for some reason the extractor fan is not in the bathroom/toilet but is in the bedroom over the sink...very strange. No coat or bag hooks either.

Short 20 minute transfer from airport. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the pool area welcoming and relaxing, staff extremely friendly, room comfortable and a good size. The location is excellent. A short walk to a sandy, quiet, small beach with clear waters and fish to swim with! The area is mainly residential and is quiet overnight. Close to local marina, hotel shuttle service to Palma central area. Breakfast was superb, many choices to suit all dietary needs with pancakes, eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Dinner a mix of freshly cooked meats and buffet items including local and international options.

Some guests may find the pools chilly early in the season. For me it was a welcome refresh on a hot day!

Lovely reception staff and all staff throughout were polite, hard working, friendly and helpful. I had a few queries before traveling and got instant email replies to all my questions. Reception were great at booking taxis, phoning to book restaurants and showing us walking routes. Nice room, easy access to breakfast, bar, pools etc. Mini fridge and tea and coffee making kits v useful. Good selection of food at breakfast and really appreciated that staff kept refilling tables and clearing away.

Minor things really - there was an excellent shuttle bus to Palma 10 euros each way but only if you looked on the website so a note in reception would be useful. Also there was no information about the evening entertainment (usually a singer) apart from a picture in the lift so some information in reception about what, where and when would be useful.

Breakfast was really good with a lot of different options. The pool area was easily accessible and had enough space for all the guests. Our room was clean and very nice, with a wonderful balcony overlooking the road below and all the way to the sea.

The only thing I can criticise was that we requested the reception to call us when the car rental company we rented from picked up the car keys, due to some questions we had for them. Even though I gave my personal phone number to the receptionist they did not call us and we lost a lot of money because of this.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience. The staff is incredibly helpful and goes out of their way to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The pools and hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a relaxing environment. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent food, both at breakfast and dinner. The meals were delicious, and there was a wide variety to choose from, catering to all tastes. Our room was spacious, featuring a large balcony with a lovely view. The hotel's location is another plus, as it is situated close to the beach and near charming villages and a marina, perfect for exploring. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay.

The only downside I encountered was that in the smaller rooms, noise from neighboring rooms could be heard. However, this was not an issue in the larger rooms.

Very clean hotel. Nice rooms, very good air conditioning and nice balcony. Hotel pool very tidy and nice environment with a view to the sea. Breakfast had a good choice available. Close to the local bus stop if needed.

The location was not the best as it is surrounded by hills which proved hard to walk in the heat. Nearest shop for water etc was 15 minutes away up and down hills. Would of been helpful if the hotel had a mini shop on site.

Close location to beach, attentive and friendly staff and clean throughout.

The Gold Level facilities were a little disappointing against those advertised. The Gold lounge was very basic with only water and fruit juice available. The “snacks” were very minimal, small and not very appealing. The Swim Up pool was not swim up, it didn’t go anywhere or linked to other pools. At best it can be described as a plunge river, shared by all five ground floor Gold Level rooms. The exclusive Gold Level Pool could do with some updating as it does lack any character. This pool is only knee deep.

Firstly, the staff are brilliant. Such lovely people and catered to every need. The pool staff are exceptionally lovely and welcoming. Great service and kind. The pools were lovely, not too busy and can always get a sunbed. The food at the pool bar was great. We ate there every day and tried a lot from the menu. The club sandwich & the prawns & tacos were our favourite. The white sangria and beers were great and really quick service round the pool and the bar. Nice pools, clean and lovely inside pool restaurant with inside and outside seating. The breakfast was delicious and really good choice to choose from. Rooms were big and clean, also good balcony with street view and can also see the sea. Really lovely hotel and nice location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again. The reception staff were so friendly and helpful too. Cabs called for us and arrived very quickly. Easy transport and distance to the portals and palma.

Only thing we can complain about was the single beds put together as this was uncomfortable with the gap and the beds moving. Other than that, no complaints.
