- location of the hotel is great, even though there are a lot of hills, Portals Nous is very nice and quite; - breakfast was very good, with many options; - rooms are nice, well equipped, nice terrace and nice view; - staff was nice and willing to help; - rooms was cleaned everyday; - beach was very close to the hotel; - poll area was nice and chill.

- even if it is a 4 star hotel, there are many things that I would not categorise as a 4 star. - room was noisy, I could hear everything from the rooms nearby and also the door from the bath was noisy every time when I was opening/closing it. - no markets or restaurants nearby;

Hotel was lovely and would highly recommend staying here. Room was clean (and cleaned each day), spacious enough and had a great view from the balcony. The pool area was very chilled and had more than enough space to be able to relax and enjoy the sun or shade if preferred (the cocktails at the pool were also amazing!). The location of the hotel was great with a beach within 250m walking distance and was a 10 minute walk to the marina or bus stop to head into Palma. The surrounding area includes some very steep hills. However, this was not an issue during our stay and there were ample taxis if required. The staff could not have been more helpful throughout our stay, calling taxis when required or providing information of the area. We had a late flight after checking out and the staff member on the reception (Didac, I believe), went the extra mile to have a room cleaned very quickly to allow for us to have time to get showered before leaving. They also arranged for a taxi to the airport during an incredibly busy period. This extra effort when he was clearly very very busy was greatly appreciated.

Nothing, stay was amazing

We had a twin room on the 4th floor, it was spacious, beds were really comfortable & we could see the sea from our balcony too. We liked the added touches of water & snacks in the room too. The breakfast was great, lots of choices, we really liked having a fresh omelette made to order each day. The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The white sangria made at the bar by the pool was fab & prices overall there were really reasonable, plenty of sun beds to choose from throughout the day too. The coved beach at the end of the road was really nice too, we preferred this to the beach by the marina.

Out of the four hotels we stayed at during our trip to Mallorca, this place was the most positive surprise. Staff 10/10 – special thanks to Ms. Magda for such a warm, detailed and professional welcome :). The peace and quiet, without crowds or too many tourists, allowed us to fully enjoy our stay. The private pool connected to our room was a wonderful surprise and gave us a true sense of luxury. The greenery around the hotel is divine – impressive, beautifully maintained plants with Mediterranean charm. A beautiful garden, Balinese beds, outdoor gym, proximity to La Calita Portals Nous beach, great location and tasty breakfasts. The overall atmosphere in the hotel was very positive and everyone was helpful and friendly 🙂

Thin walls and poor sound insulation, creaky bed, no duvet and not enough towels in the room

Beautiful facilities all areas were so clean - excellent breakfast 10/10 - perfect location for our trip! If you stay here you will be amazed by how great the hotel smells - incredible! The staff really enhanced our trip - the lifeguard, staff at breakfast, transfer driver (he was great), Monica in the spa (amazing masseuse), cleaning team, reception staff (who asked about our days and where we had been) and Magdalena who assisted pre-arrival! Thank you so much ❤️

The staff were amazing - however the female that checked us in and out (sadly for us) presented with a poor attitude and it really showed in contrast to every single other member of the team - as we checked out she was chewing food in her mouth and tried to charge for items that were never honoured - then tried to blame others :-( she also appeared to have her name badge concealed.

Been to Tacande a number of times now for short stays and I always feel I’d go back. Its location in a quiet area of Bendinat is fabulous, where you can walk to many restaurants in the village. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly.

In some places it does feel a little tired and maintaining it is not up to standards I’ve seen elsewhere. There is an entrance at the rear of the hotel to go to the village & whilst you can exit there, the card reader never works so you have to walk all the way round to the entrance in the other side of the hotel. Mentioned it to reception and they said it had been like that for ages!

Great breakfasts, amazing choice. The staff were great from the check in onwards..very helpful. The hotel layout was excellent considering it's set right in the middle of an urban area and the small pools are lovely.

I was not happy about having 2 sets of stairs within the accommodation. I was expecting 1 set up into the room but was not expecting a second set up onto the balcony...this wasn't made clear in the description. The bathroom was very squeezed and awkward to open and close the doors....for some reason the extractor fan is not in the bathroom/toilet but is in the bedroom over the sink...very strange. No coat or bag hooks either.

Tacande Portals was fantastic - clean and modern with fantastic pool facilities! The breakfast buffet was wonderful - everything you could want, and the evening buffet which we chose on 2 evenings was also great with very fresh food. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and we loved the shuttle into Palma! There is also a lovely cove located just down the road which has a beach bar and another hotel with a fantastic restaurant.

The location is a little out of the way, and the walk to the Portals Nous main strip of bars is very steep - perhaps not the best for elderly people or those with small kids! There is also a lot of building work in the area and our balcony looked directly onto a building site - this didn’t bother us (and the room is sound proof) but something to bear in mind if you like to sit on the balcony!

Lovely reception staff and all staff throughout were polite, hard working, friendly and helpful. I had a few queries before traveling and got instant email replies to all my questions. Reception were great at booking taxis, phoning to book restaurants and showing us walking routes. Nice room, easy access to breakfast, bar, pools etc. Mini fridge and tea and coffee making kits v useful. Good selection of food at breakfast and really appreciated that staff kept refilling tables and clearing away.

Minor things really - there was an excellent shuttle bus to Palma 10 euros each way but only if you looked on the website so a note in reception would be useful. Also there was no information about the evening entertainment (usually a singer) apart from a picture in the lift so some information in reception about what, where and when would be useful.

Short 20 minute transfer from airport. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the pool area welcoming and relaxing, staff extremely friendly, room comfortable and a good size. The location is excellent. A short walk to a sandy, quiet, small beach with clear waters and fish to swim with! The area is mainly residential and is quiet overnight. Close to local marina, hotel shuttle service to Palma central area. Breakfast was superb, many choices to suit all dietary needs with pancakes, eggs and omelettes cooked to order. Dinner a mix of freshly cooked meats and buffet items including local and international options.

Some guests may find the pools chilly early in the season. For me it was a welcome refresh on a hot day!
