Good location in Ciutadella and an easy walk down into the old town centre. The hotel has recently been modernised and the public areas are in a very clean state. Can't comment on the gym and other facilities as we didn't use them.

It's a town location, so also a restricted parking area. Not a problem if you're using public transport (the bus services are pretty good in Menorca) but most visitors get a hire car. The hotel offers private parking at an additional cost of 12 euros per night in a location 2 streets away. We chose to park our hire car further out, where it's free, and then walk back in.

Only 5 minutes from the beautiful old town , The staff work so hard and nothing is too much trouble . We requested a quiet , triple room away from lifts and people walking past our room and they obliged . A huge special thank you to William on the front desk who made sure that we got a quiet room because we are light sleepers. He always has a smile on his face and was so helpful We also want to thank Didak and Viviana for their hard work in the restaurant morning and the evening . They seemed to always be working !! The evening meal was excellent so well done to the chef (s) 👏👏 The only disappointment is the breakfast , there are 4 ‘hot plate dishes’ but only 2 have any food in them - eggs in one and bacon in the other Mushrooms in one would have been an option Sliced hot potatoes in another ? We love tomatoes but they weren’t there as a regular offering .

Only the lack of more choice st breakfast

Spotlessly clean, good size room, comfortable bed. Centrally located with plenty of bars / restaurants close by. Nice bar/restaurant on site, closed at 11pm. Would definitely stay again. Parking 2 mins away.

Breakfast was a let down. Not much of a choice. Eggs (3) so over cooked they looked like plastic and sausage as a hot choice. Only bread rolls available . For the price I think more choice should be available.

The staff were amazing. Really welcoming and friendly. The gym facilities were decent and there is a nice social area. The restaurant and breakfast room was also very nice. The whole place was modern and smart looking.

The room was mostly clean but the shower head was really dirty to the point water wasn't coming out of the nozzles but a quick clean sorted it.

The whole hotel and the room were very clean and well laid out. The bathroom was very nice with a good shower. The air conditioning was great!! We didn't eat at the Hotel so can't say anything about the food.

Unfortunately the room above us was quite noisy past midnight which disturbed our sleep a bit, but this is not the staff's fault.

Wide array of services, smartly thought out for the kind of tourists we were - umbrellas on loan, possibility to take a shower while retrieving our luggage from storage at the end of the last day, one can order picnic sandwiches for the next day at the beach, and their massagist was extraordinary.

Not much to object, really. Some sound of the neighboring rooms or corridor can filter through at times, but it was quite muffled, suggesting it was more of a "loudness at the source" problem than anything going on with the insulation.

My stay at Alfons Hotel was excellent! The hotel is very modern and clean. My room was spacious enough for my needs. The location is only about a 3 minute walk from the center with all the shops and restaurants. Which I actually preferred because it is quiet and easily accessible for a taxi. Many of the small boutique hotels in the center can’t quite be reached by car. And the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

I didn’t find anything that I didn’t like.

Nice cost-benefit ratio. The hotel seemed recently renovated, so the decor is beautiful and modern. Great light design. The bed is extra comfortable, with nice pillows and sheets. I was working from home and the wifi worked great for zoom calls. The staff is very friendly and helpful - Gràcis por la amable recepción, Carlos, el chico italiano y la chica que trabajava por las noches. Muito obrigada!

I booked the room with a terrace only to find out that the terrace "view" is to the internal part of the building, so all I could see was a roof and the other rooms - and the pictures here don't show you that. If you align your expectations about this, you'll be fine.

Very friendly staff!! Great breakfast, there was something new every day (pastries mostly). Great location, close to the city center. The room is big enough, the shower is great.

Poor acoustic insolation, could hear the upstairs neighbor stomping around all night, plus we were looking on the loading dock of the hotel.

The rooms were intelligently laid-out with an area for everything, there was a place for my car and bike, the service was exemplary and the hotel was conveniently situated very close to the historical centre.
