Well located, modern and comfortable. Good value for money related to other hotels in San Sebastián which tend to be expensive. Good coffee machine and some muffins in reception. My room had fridge, safe and was generally well designed.

There is limited cover of reception staff mainly to morning, hence check in is by a code they message to you - I would prefer to be greeted by a real person. Also they send you a link to pay in advance, I would prefer that payment is taken through Booking as I have had scam messages sent to me from other hotels in past so felt uncomfortable about paying this way.

Loved the keyless entry. The housekeeping everyday was terrific as sand followed us from the beach.’Free coffee and muffins everyday in the foyer saved us some time and money. John on the front desk gave us helpful information. The hotel had city maps there for us. Air con worked well, big bed and comfortable, if a little bland, space. The elevator was a relief from many other hotels with stairs and more stairs and we never had to wait for it. Finally, I even got my hair coloured opposite the hotel just a few steps away. Enjoyed our stay here and felt very comfortable.

No top sheet which is super annoying when the night is warm. No face washer and a combined shampoo and shower gel is a pet hate of mine. However, I have noticed that these 3 issues, are very common in European hotels. Just thought I’d mention it.

Extremely easy self check-in/check-out, no keys, no cards, just one code to remember. My single room with a double bed was small, with no space to open a big suitcase without blocking the door opening, but the bed and pillow were comfortable. The front desk is manned until 2 p.m. (friendly receptionist!) but the staff can be reached anytime -and will answer almost immediately- all day round. In the lobby there is a vending machine offering several options of hot drinks, and you will also find muffins and tea bags, all available for free – what a nice gesture! The hotel is in a central location, with lots of shops and supermarkets nearby and at walking distance to the beach, the old town, the Mount Urgull, and the railway stations (Amara for the Euskotren and Donostia for Renfe). If you’d like to do some exercise or have a swim, there is a municipal sport complex with single-entry tickets available just 5-minute walk.

A bit pricey to my budget (although cheaper than many other hotels I looked through before making up my mind) but after all this is Spain, where accommodation rates are usually not in the low-cost department. On a curious note regarding my room, why an engineer would design a tiny bathroom (1,70 x 1,20 metres approx.) AROUND what looks like a structural column is completely beyond me.

Great location, clean, quiet

Although the staff person was fabulous there was very limited time she was present. I had some big struggles with transportation such as where to get the bus to Zarautz and the importance of prebooking bus tickets to Bilbao. Fortunately I had been to the train station coming back from Zumaia so knew about the train which took forever and dropped you off in an obscure location. I was able to help several other travelers when all the bus tickets to Bilbao were sold out 24 hours in advance. The staff at the bus station and the web site were beyond unhelpful

Excellent communication from hotel with instructions for self check in plus happy to respond to other questions we had. Access to main doors and room was by key code- all worked perfectly. The hotel has a lift (very welcome with our heavy bags) and a nice cafe style entrance area with complimentary coffee and muffins 😋 our room was spacious, modern and clean. Great black out curtains and comfy bed. We didn't hear any noise and slept very well. Bathroom is great- powerful shower and good lighting.

John was amazing! The housekeepers were really nice. The lady at the desk the day we left, not so much. She was a bit of a snotty know it all. As for experience, Sshe was my last interaction at the property, which left me wondering. They jacked up the price because Bruce Springsteen was in town. I added a day on for a 1/3 of the price after the first show. Go figure. Location is great.

The last interaction with a snotty know it all lady . Overpriced for what you got, it's tough because all the accommodations in the area jacked their prices up.

Great checkin system and keyless room and building access. Hotel was super clean. Free coffee and muffins were a bonus. Rooms were spacious. Close to everything by foot. The guy manning reception (sorry I didn't get his name) was exceptionally helpful

Bit of noise from rooms from above and beside. It's not a complaint as laundry service was not a listed facility, however laundry prices in the city are $$$. If the hotel could consider providing (paid) laundry facilities I'm sure they would be very popular with guests

This hotel is exactly how I want it to be. The self check-in process is quick and seamless, no need to carry around any card or key, as access to the rooms is granted via a code. The room was cozy, warm, and welcoming, and the shower was great. Having a coffee machine and muffins available for all guests — despite not having paid for breakfast, is a thoughtful touch that shows how much this hotel values its guests. Perfect stay, I couldn’t find a single flaw!

We had a very pleasant stay. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, which made for a restful night's sleep each day. The location of the property was ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and restaurants, making it convenient to explore the area. Additionally, the property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. The host or management team provided timely updates and clear communication throughout the booking process and during the stay, which made everything smooth and hassle-free. We would definitely recommend this place to others and would happily stay here again!

The coffee at the lobby could be better.

Great location close to Zurriola beach(just 5 minutes, that was the main reason why i chose the hotel). We really appreciated free coffee/tea/muffin-that was really great and it saved our day(s) :) nice rooms, good and fast communication with the stuff (they recommended me urgent care as i have small knee injury). They were able to store our baggage. Would definitely come back and could recommend!

Only minor negative thing was that the emergency exit light was turned on all the time and when it was dark in the room you were always able to see the small green pictogram :) but this was not that serious issue and probably it is somehow required for hotels to have it
