Excellent position in the Gros neighbourhood. They did a good job soundproofing the rooms since the street of the hotel is very noisy. Having a few soft drinks offered, as well as a room where you could have coffee and tea was appreciated.

For the price, we were honestly expecting a bit more from the room. The bathroom was not very clean (like the floor of the whole room) (see pictures for the bathroom), and it seemed like it needed some refurbishing. Strangely, there was no towel hanger. For the price paid, I expected top notch cleanliness and higher quality furniture.

The room was fine, clean, comfortable, modern clean bathroom with great shower water pressure. But even better was that the hotel worked hard. Front desk staff (Ane) was great, and anything you didn't have in the room (coffee, plates, microwave etc) was right down the hall in a very well maintained area. Even a place you could eat dinner if you bought your own food back. Elevator, always a good thing. Location, in terms of being close to old town on the beach was good, basically a comfortable walk. We arrived by car, but could drive up to door to drop off luggage and then parked in garage that was a 5 minute walk away. 20 EU per night.

Room a little small, but similar to others we stayed in. There is a nice balcony but unfortunately a cafe below so a couple of times we had to close the windows because of cigarette smoke. Also, the room is on a fairly busy street. Noise was not a problem, but its also not tranquil. We arrived after reception hours had ended and getting in was a bit of a problem. First of all we couldn't find the place. The address that GPS sends you to is misleading. But then it was our fault. Ane had sent all of the instructions on how to get it in advance, but we made the mistake of assuming we would have wifi upon arrival (we didn't) and did not screen capture them. But Ane walked us through.

Great location. Close to the beach and only 10 min walk over the bridge into the old town. Very clean rooms comfortable bed. Juliette balcony which was a lovely bonus. Overall I recommend this hotel (I had 4 nights) and I would definitely stay again.

The communal area for tea/coffee etc was very useful and plentiful. They also provide a microwave to heat things up. I did buy some fruit and yoghurt to have in the mornings but no cutlery or crockery was supplied. Coffee stirrers were supplied but would be nice to have the option of using some wooden cutlery at least to eat my fruit in the morning.

Staff met me checking in and one other time; I had no interaction with them after that--they only schedule staffing something like 9-5, and were not present even all of that time; I had a key code for the front door and my room. Location was very convenient for my needs. Very clean. Coffee machine always available. I never figured out how to control the temperature except by using the windows. Room was smallish but nice. I would consider staying there again.

It was conveniently located. It was in a one way street that was a bit tricky to find but had a convenient spot just to load/unload luggage . Parking was nearby . There was complementary coffee and tea. The place was modern and clean and spacious enough for 2.

It eould have been nice to have a little bread or something to go with their complementary coffee and tea esp in the morning.

Clean and comfortable. Complementary soft drinks (they re-filled every day!). There's also a common area with nice coffee and tea, and tables - we usually bought some pastries/ham/etc from outside and had a nice breakfast there. The location is great too - 5-10 minutes walking from the train station or from the Kursaal convention center. Great value for money.

Staff was friendly and incredibly helpful! We drove and had no issues with parking using the instructions they provided. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was clean and quiet. Great location. We enjoyed our time!

Not much counter space for toiletry items and some of things in our room were a bit broken and kind of hodge podged back together (toilet paper holder and AC panel cover) Nothing that truly inconvenienced us but for the price of the hotel would expect them to be fixed properly.

We loved the location in the Gros area and the ease of checking in and accessing the room, especially since we had a late arrival. The staff was very friendly and we found the room very comfortable.

The size of the room was quite small - not a big issue, though, if you are traveling without much luggage. The soap holder in the bathroom fell from the wall during our visit but was quickly fixed by the staff.

Always great, I just love the place. It's really nice to go back to the real neighbourhood of Gros too, after a day in the centre. Thick carpets make the place luxurious and quiet and they provide posh tea and coffee 24/7, as well as mineral water in your bedroom. It's definitely my "go to" hotel in Donosti.

No receptionists after about 3pm and I've had the occasional problem with door codes not working (tho there are always numbers to call so don't let this put you off) Be careful of high prices (everywhere in Spain) in summer - go in winter like I do!

This hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money. The room was great, lots of light and a short walk from the surf beach (about 9 minutes) and a good walk from the main beach (about 15 minutes). The front desk was very helpful with our questions about the bus station, even after we had checked-out of the hotel. We had complimentary waters and pop in our fridge which was also a treat, as well as complimentary coffee every morning on the floor. Easily accessible (off one of the main bridges). We had keycodes instead of keys which made it much more convenient going to the beach (no card to worry about losing).

The beds were not amazing but the black out curtains and working AC compensated for it. We still managed a good nights rest. The main thing about the bed is that they did not have proper douvet covers, but rather two sheets that they put the duvet inside of.
