Extremely comfortable stay with the friendly staff at Pension Aia. The location is very convenient, very close to the beach and only 10 mins walk from the old town. Lots of lovely cafes and pintxo bars nearby. The staff went above and beyond to provide us with helpful information and suggestions about the area.

Very comfortable bed, spacious, bright room, very clean and cleaned every day. Clean bathrooms and good hair dryers available for use. Super close to Zurriola beach and plenty of restaurants and some small shops nearby. On the first floor, easy access.

The common kitchen space was really clean and had teas and coffee gratis which was very nice! I only note that there was no oven or space to cook. There is a microwave and fridge.

Idoia was an amazing and kind host and she gave excellent advice on things to do in the city The pension is essentially a fancy hostel, simple lodgings but very clean, quiet, and comfortable and great value for those who don't plan to spend much time inside their hotel. Our room had two beds, a shower, and a private balcony. Otherwise toilet facilities are shared with other rooms.

The pension is located on a street where there are a lot of bars, at night the street can be very busy / crowded with a lot of empty bottles and glasses on the street, the noise fortunately does not reach inside the pension

Our stay at Pensión Aia was absolutely wonderful. Our flight landed quite early in the morning, and Paulo was kind enough to store our luggage hours before check in. He went out of his way to give us recommendations and provide detailed map instructions for walking and public transportation. The room was perfect and cleaned daily, and it was really nice to have a private shower in the room. The shared bathrooms were very clean, and there were plenty of them (I never had to wait for a bathroom to become available). I would absolutely recommend Pensión Aia, and my partner and I will definitely be back!

Firstly, the welcome from the two most beautiful hosts was actually quite heart warming . Maria and Paolo could not have been more friendly , personable , helpful and attentive. Additionally, the expert local knowledge that they provide to everybody on checking in was second to none. We visited each and every place that they told us about and every one was a wonderful experience. These two people are exceptionally hosts , so personable and kind, we almost felt like we were staying with friends. Their local knowledge saved us so much time and enabled us to really make the most of our three day trip. Maria and Paolo really made us feel at home in their beautifully designed and immaculately clean Pensión. Perfect location two minutes from the beach, I could talk all night about this super little gem of a place . Dan Sebastián you have our hearts as do maria and Paolo and Pensión Aia . Nothing at all

The host was lovely. She let us into our room early as it was ready, gave us a tour of the rooms and even gave us some info about the local area. The location is perfect for the beach, the bars and restaurants in Gros and only a short walk to the old town. It’s a lovely clean and comfortable place and we would definitely stay again.

Nothing! It was all fab.

A great location, excellent facilities and wonderful staff made our stay really enjoyable. I was a bit nervous about not having our own bathroom but it was absolutely fine, in fact there were four to choose from with locking doors. I never had to wait. There was a fabulous shared kitchen with a large fridge and even a coffee maker. Paulo was a wonderful host. We really enjoyed staying in Gros too, plenty of interesting shops and cafes. And bars around.

Fabulous pension with kind and attentive hosts and with a very warm welcome. Perfect location near the beach in the quieter gros area and easy to explore the city from. My room and the bathrooms were clean and like new at all times and with the bonus of the shared kitchen made it perfect. I couldn't recommend pension Aia enough if you are visiting San Sebastian.

The location is very great！ Vera close to the beach and the beach personally thinking is even better than concha. The room is lovely not big but you have everything. The mattress is the best we have had during the whole spain trip. Even better than luxury hotels. They have 3 public bathrooms. We have one in our room but we don‘t use it. Just dont want to get too humanity. The host is very nice. Very pleasant stay

Amazing comfortable and clean room. A very friendly check in upon arrival, offering suggestions on where to go and what to do in the area. Location was excellent, quick walk to the surfers beach and 12 minute walk into the old town. Loved having a kettle available with tea and coffee as well as some biscuits. The room was cleaned daily and the cleaner was very friendly, also offering advice on what to do. If ever in San Sebastien again, would love to return and stay here.
