Great location. Being at the edge of the Old Town, we could go to all the recommended bars/ restaurants within 7 minutes. And once you step out of the hotel, you are greeted with the view of the ocean just like the picture. The room was small, which we expected being in the old part of Europe, but the bathroom was a nice size and the whole area was newly and nicely renovated. The bed was the king size. The only thing was that the room was on the ground level, and we could not see out the window. I don't think this was included in the description of the room. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Great location just a very short stroll to the old town with a view of the sea and beach. A little shop around the corner so you can grab water. The breakfast was perfect buffet style with everything you need. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Rooms were really spacious and very comfy bed and we also had a sea view room. The only thing I would say the hotel is very dated it just needs to be modernized and painted with a new fresh look and the windows need changing for noise! It did feel like they were open even when they were closed so with that it was very expensive I feel for the overall quality. But if it was at a better rate I would recommend.

Noise as in windows need replacing/ sound proofing and decor updating for the price asked.

The Hotel Parma is a great value stay in San Sebastian. Close to the beach and old town. It's priced to match the proximity to everything so it's a little higher priced than other hotels in the area. The room was very clean. The staff very nice and professiona;. They event went above and beyond, recommending a delicious restaurant for dinner and sending us off with a snack on our checkout day when we had an early taxi to catch in the morning. I think the hotel represents itself well online. It is a basic accommodation. Clean, ease of communication, a nice breakfast, an honor fridge with waters, wine, and beer. I would def stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

I liked the location! The hotel does the job. It's clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. It wasn't as charming as our other stays in Europe so for that reason this probably felt like a step down. I think we thought we were going to get a nice view of the ocean, but the room was a garden room so we didn't get a view at all.

We were sad that breakfast wasn't heated so we decided to go out for breakfast. My parents wake up very early so this was a slight inconvenience since the restaurants don't open up until normal hours, which is late for them but no real issue there.

The location is perfect , the property spotlessly clean and friendly . Helpful staff like we have never experienced . There was never any lack of help for busses , trains , attractions and ideas to visit . We loved our stay of 7 nights and will return when we can . I highly recommend this property for your stay in San Sebastián to enjoy the beaches and Old town , as they are located right at doorstep .

Reviews have complained of NO hot breakfast , but the breakfast available is perfectly good . Plenty of options available

Location, location. Couldn’t have been better and super easy to get around the old city and beaches. The rooms were spotless and comfortable.The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to explain things about the parking/city//hotel and always with a smile.

Breakfast, there could have been a bit more effort made of the content of the breakfast, it was convenience food, fresh bread, better cheese fresh orange juice and maybe even an egg would have been nice

The location of the hotel was perfect- right at the old town , on the edge of the water and a quick walk to both beaches. On arrival, the receptionist gave us very thorough information relating to the hotel and the area in general. Our room was on the ground floor and right at street level but it only had opaque colour glass panels and not a window so we had no view whatsoever. The beds were comfortable and had crisp white bed linen. The bathroom was very large and the walk-in shower would suit someone in a wheelchair,

Our original booking confirmation stated that we would have an "inner courtyard view" so we were not prepared to find it had no window at all. The room smelled very stale when we arrived and it could not be rectified without fresh air. We also made use of the nearby hotel private parking facility which was convenient..

We stayed here last year and picked this hotel again as we loved the experience first time around. The second time was just as good as we remembered. The staff are very friendly and able to accommodate for non-native speakers - a particular shoutout to Francisco who made us feel very welcome and organised taxis for us in the evenings. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent as it’s right by the sea front and only a few minutes walk to the old town.

The location was amazing. The staff was amazing. The room was very nice and clean. The view was awesome. We left our windows open at night to hear the ocean. The breakfast was good.

I wish we could have been on a higher floor, but they only had 2 floors available for the hotel. The bath/shower had a shower curtain and they tend to stick to you while you are showering. It would have been nicer if they had the half glass instead of the shower curtain.
