Villa Soro exceeded all expectations. The design is absolutely stunning—tastefully renovated with attention to every detail, creating a space that feels both elegant and welcoming. The location is ideal: a bit removed from the bustle of the old town, yet easily accessible thanks to the complimentary bikes the hotel offers (a huge plus for exploring the city at your own pace). The staff were consistently helpful, warm, and professional—making the whole experience even more memorable. I truly felt cared for from start to finish. I appreciated the Diptyque toiletries — such a thoughtful and luxurious touch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a boutique stay with charm, comfort, and style.

Spacious, tastefully decorated rooms with extremely comfortable beds and linens. The overall experience was exceptional - we enjoyed the design of the facility in our room and also in the common areas. The villa is a short 10 minute walk from the city centre, and perhaps another 10-15 minute walk beyond to the Old Town. Breakfast on the terrace was a great start to each day. All hotel staff were friendly and accommodating to provide tips and recommendations for hidden gems (Chillada Museum, best pintxos spots, etc.) which made our stay that much better. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Unfortunately our Air Conditioning in the room was not working on arrival, however the team was quick to enable a temporary solution on short notice which was equally as comfortable.

Airco was not working properly, which is a shame for such a nice hotel. I would expect this to be checked before letting the next guests use the room. The location: about 20-30min walk to the city center. For us no problem, we enjoyed the walks, but could be a disadvantage if you want to be closer to the old town. Bikes are available.

Everything!! Room was a dream,all in good taste, very spacious, practical, with good quality and excellent view. The amenities were of super quality , covered all our needs. The whole establishment is like it was taken out of a fairytale. A lot of outlets even next to the beds. The turn down service was something we hadn't realised was on offer and surprised us in a positive way. The staff, Beatriz, Virginia and Pablo, always with a smile, went out of their way to help us in everything, even with aspects of our trip that didn't have to do with our hotel stay. Location was very convenient for us who decided to walk to everything.

It was very adequate in size. Although it was close to the road, it was very quiet. Regular cleaning was done every day. The products in the room, such as shampoo and body gel, were of very high quality. They had put small gifts in our room specially for December 31st, it was a very nice thought. The hotel building was very well-maintained and clean. The furniture was carefully selected. Everything was in harmony. The hotel garden was also very well-maintained.

The hotel staff was incompetent in some issues. The gentleman working at the reception (unfortunately I don't know his name) gave us very good information about the city and was very helpful. However, the other staff were unsuccessful. It took 15 minutes to bring just 1 bottle of water. Since everything was closed on January 1, we asked for something to eat at 11:30. We knew that breakfast ended at 11, but they were not at all helpful, even though they had the opportunity to find an alternative solution. In addition, I think it is unreasonable to charge a fee for hotel guests to use the car park.

It is a truly stunning property and the staff are incredibly helpful. There were nice touches like turning over the bed and leaving a chocolate while we were out for the evening. The shower is fantastic - quickly hot and good water pressure - and our room had a private garden

We found the breakfast a little bit disappointing given the quality of the hotel and the menu for dinner was not appealing (a shame as the dining room is as top quality as the rest of the hotel) and without on site parking it would be pretty difficult to park closeby so the extra charge for parking does feel a little bit like you have little choice.

everything! this property is a dream. Decor, setting, small details, the smell of subtle perfume, the service- everything was a dream! the free bicycle hire was such a nice touch and great way to explore the city! we would absolutely love to stay here again next time we visit !

you have to pay for parking daily which was a bit unexpected- in a way i would prefer if the parking charge was factored in the room rate. it doesn’t suit the luxury status of the hotel to change guests 12€ per day, given the car park is exclusive to guests.

The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Room service was very prompt. the breakfast was abundant and delicious. I love that we received Spanish related cuisine such as fresh orange juice and a little jar of gazpacho. The bed was big and comfortable.

Being English, I always like to have tea in the morning, so perhaps a kettle with larger cups and teabags would have been nice. I ordered tea as part of room service. I am also used to having an iron and ironing board in the room but it was brought to the room very quickly once I had asked for it.

Beautiful, property and luxurious stay - would stay again as we loved San Seb and the hotel. Great location - 10 min walk to surfing beach. 20ish min walk to old town. The man who checked us in was so kind and helpful, which was a lovely start to our stay. Staff went out of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the free use of bikes!

The only thing to say was one of our bike tyres blew up when we were using it was quite scary. When we assessed, all the tyres were pumped up with far too high PSI. We got it fixed in town for €7 which was totally fine with us. When back at hotel we told the person at reception - they told us that they had maintenance for such things and there wasn’t an acknowledgment of our inconvenience. They had to check with management before reimbursing the cost to us (which they did after checking). I just felt like we’d done the wrong thing when really it was an issue of theirs... Other than that, brilliant stay.
