We reserved two rooms, a single and a double room. The double room was beautiful, overlooking a street in the old town and the cathedral. The location of the hotel couldn’t be better. 3 minute walk to the sea. Right by the cathedral. In the heart of the old town with so many bars and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. A choice of first and second courses to order and some items on a buffet. The staff were really responsive to my emails ordering a transfer to Bilbao airport.

We reserved two rooms and the single room was very small. The windows were frosted so you couldn’t see out (not that you would want to as it looks onto a disused grubby courtyard). There was obviously a price difference in the two rooms, but we didn’t expect the single to be as small and dingy as it was. It was not worth the money

Gorgeous accommodation in old town. Walking distance to all restaurants, beach and sights. Helpful staff and great breakfast

Unfortunately l had an accident at the hotel and walked into the bathroom glass door and broke my nose. I just noticed that other reviews had mentioned the dangerous situation and nothing was done about it. I wish they had put the stickers in the door. They paid for my hospital bill but it’s an unfortunate accident that could have been avoided

Everything. We stayed three nights in January. The position in the old town perfect. The winter tarif was very good. The staff very welcoming, breakfast wonderful…

It might be a bit far from the parking area (public) for some people

Amazing location, couldn’t have been better. In the heart of the old town in the prettiest street, it’s buzzing with activity but the soundproofing in the rooms is excellent so we slept so well. Great shower and staff were really helpful. The food in the Atari pintxos bar downstairs is incredible - with an added bonus that you can take it up to the terrace when it’s really busy!

Would have preferred a buffet breakfast with more options - had to order off quite a limited menu.

Hotel Atari is wonderful. It has an amazing location in the heart of the old town with a fantastic pinxos bar downstairs. It also has a rooftop balcony overlooking the cathedral where you can enjoy the slower pace of life. The room itself is spacious and modern and has amazing sound insulation given you are at the very heart of San Sebastián nightlife. Huge shoutout to the wonderful staff who arranged an amazing dinner for us at short notice, booked taxis etc. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The room was small but amazingly beautiful and airy. The view from our penthouse terrace was ideal for church lovers and athiests alike. If you do not enjoy huge clanging chimes every 15 minutes, close your windows and doors. We embraced all the wind, sun rain, construction noise from the city, the clang and bang of the church, the revelers 6 floors below, and just rejoiced in how wonderful and alive we felt. Breakfasts were included and top notch!!!

The location was superb. Thankfully soundproof from the church Bella which were gorgeous. The vibe was super cool. Loved the open brick work. Loved someone always on desk. Enjoyed the use of the roof.

The rooftop door as was worried I’d get shut out there. Went up there one time to read my book and a private table was laid for a meal. Thankfully one random chair was still available to use. Our room was very dark but understand that maybe is the mood of it.

Amazing location in the heart of San Sebastián old town. Lovely atmosphere and excellent restaurants and pinxtos bars all around. Sound proof windows, well apportioned rooms, comfortable beds, large bathrooms and strong water pressure, friendly staff, excellent breakfast with buffet and a la carte options, and nice rooftop terrace.

The only thing that could have made this stay even better was addition in-room toiletry options - for example, there was only body wash / shampoo dispenser, no additional shampoo option although there was conditioner.

Location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town. Little balcony overlooking the street but the windows stopped all noise when closed. Staff were excellent, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they indulged my poor Spanish. All of the staff appeared to speak fluent English. Breakfast was especially good. Hot and cold buffet with beer/bubbly if desired. Spotlessly clean, the housekeeping team were quick and thorough.

The rooftop terrace could do with a little bar or coffee machine. There was the odd little patch of poor lighting in the room. 2 really small niggles just for the sake of this review as neither had a negative impact on the stay.

The location is hard to beat. It’s in the heart of Old Town walking distance to everything San Sebastián has to offer. It is extremely soundproof, our room faced the loud & busy street in front of the hotel, but with the balcony door closed you couldn’t hear a thing. The shower had a rain head with amazing pressure, everything I could want in a shower. Breakfast was delicious!

Cars are not allowed in Old Town so, you do have to park in a garage a few blocks away and carry your luggage to the hotel. Didn’t bother us since it’s flat and mostly easy walk minus navigating the crowds.
