We loved this little place. The location is awesome, less than 5 mins walk to the beach and old town. The room is small, but it had everything we needed, including a small fridge, kettle with tea/coffee (which I loved), microwave, and even some bowls and cutlery, which was great for breakfast. It is on a main street, but the windows are totally soundproof. We heard nothing from the street below. It is directly across the road from a supermarket. So many wonderful bars and restaurants nearby. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

My daughter and I stayed here for a week so she could attend Spanish classes to help her with A level. Our room was great, very little noise despite being on a main street, great blinds and air conditioning, comfortable beds, tv, microwave and fridge. The shower was great after a day at the beach. We heard very little noise from other rooms. Very short walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to her language school, loads of shops and bars and restaurants to choose from. Enjoyed visiting the old town and the aquarium. Great beach for swimming. Came by bus from Biarritz airport. Very cheap and easy. Bus station is a 10 minute walk. We had a great time and would definitely use again.

Perfect location — can reach any part by walking. The beach is a 2-min walk away, Old Town is a 5-min walk. Rooms are comfortable and you have free coffee, tea, and small snacks, along with your own cups in the room! There are also a microwave and fridge. Staff is very accommodating and kind! I needed some guidance with transportation because we were coming from Paris. They shared directions which made everything a lot easier. They helped us schedule our taxi going to the airport. They can also be reached easily via Whatsapp for any questions. I loved our stay here and I highly recommend!

Great central location, minutes to the beach, old town and all the shops. Rooms are basic but very comfortable and super clean. They have everything you need - comfy beds, good shower pressure, fridge, communal kitchen. Staff were wonderful and helped us change our rental car booking.

The only downside was the Wifi - not super important, but it didn't work at all in our room.

The property is in a fantastic location, very easy to find and walking distance from the Donostia San Sebastián autobus and train station. Everything is so close to Urkia Pensión and it is also surrounded by fantastic bars and restaurants - so easy to enjoy the famed pinxtos. My room was spacious and clean and even had a fridge and microwave as well as kettle. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The bed was super comfy. The staff were particularly attentive and helpful - both Jorge and Juan offered me many tips on where to go and what to see while in the area. I was given a map and all the great places were marked. Highly recommend staying here and I will be back.

I was sad to leave

Excellent and comfortable property in great location in center of town. Juan at the front desk is a model for how staff should act and treat guests. Room was small but not too small and to be expected in Spain, but had all the comforts of home. Bathroom was of adequate size as was shower. Bed very comfortable and room quiet. Even had a mini fridge in room, which was a bonus. WiFi was also very strong. Excellent value for money during low season, as San Sebastián I'm told is the most expensive city in Spain. Only 10 minute walk from the bus and train station but if leaving by train, give yourself extra time as they are building a new station and getting to the temporary station is convoluted and tricky and the signage is poor.

Accomodation really well located in the center, just in front of the FNAC and at 5 minutes walk of the beach. Nice balcony. Spotless clean and good facilities, you have your own kettle and fridge.

The room felt a bit claustrophobic. The space was cleverly used but it felt a bit crowed, too many things probably. The balcony was great but there was a lot of noise of course, it is one of the main streets in the city center (not hotel fault at all).

Honestly everything was great. Perfect location - right night to the beach in the city center. Staff was kind and helpful. They offer a small discount for parking nearby which is nice (pick the bus station parking, safe and 9min away) Slept a lot here because I got a flu lol 🥲 Thanks for the free tea.

Pensión is a bit dated and not sound proof, but no issues. Busy street, so if you face the street maybe it’ll be noisy.

Great location, really nice room with the balcony where is table and two chairs, clean. Lady, who welcomed us was really nice and Juan at the reception extremely helpful, spoke really good english and explained about what to see and do in San Sebastián and also recommended wonderful Pintxos and Tapas restaurants in old town. Dogs are welcome and they are aloud to come to the beach as well <3

The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything from the hall and next door.

Great location in the modern part of the City. Close to everything including the Camino. One night the weather was so bad with Pelting rain and wind, I decided to stay in and watch movies. The bed was comfortable and the room cozy. I could have hot tea with the kettle and warm some leftovers in the microwave. It was easy to find coffee in the morning and food everywhere. I would stay here again.

As mentioned, thin walls, but I still slept well.
